darkzone Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Thanks for the ads...BB is disappointing.....oh well waiting on Walmart now
neboo Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Interesting ad. It seems like they are not going to push "cheap" items from off brands like they usually do, unless they are releasing 5-10 unadvertised specials the day before like the past few years. It seems like a staple of Best Buy is always a dirt cheap desktop, a 32" off brand lcd, and a 2-4gb mp3 player from an off brand for very cheap. This is an interesting change of pace for these guys.
laffnatu Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Thanks for the ad! It's nice to see someone offering ereaders. :)
zim05 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Since I do not need/want a computer or tv this ad is disappointing. There are virtually no TV seasons and a very small DVD selection. I was hoping for cheap headphones like last year but that seems to be a no go. The Nikon touchscreen camera looks interesting but I'll have to do more research on it. I will probably swing in there for the iTunes $50 for $40 deal and a few DVDs and CDs. Hopefully they will release a few more deals the week of because, to me, this ad is nothing to write home about
SuggaD Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Lame. That decided it...won't be camping out. Can't say I'm disappointed about that, hehe.
SuggaD Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Hmm, I bet that Toshiba laptop will be on sale online...will try to get that. For anyone interested in a netbook, the compaq is great....got that for DD last year (it was available online).
bpr Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I at least found some good Blu-rays to get, but nothing I need to be there at 5am for.

I got two of them. That deal was better than BB.
lakiaw Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 The Nook seems to be a good deal. But I'm a little disappointed in BB's ad:( Wally! Wally!
zim05 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Walmart had last weekend the ITunes cards $50 for $35 limit 2 per person. I got two of them. That deal was better than BB. I'm kinda kicking myself over that! I did know about the sale but was too busy and figured stores would do that for BF!
bclvr61889 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Does anyone know if those netbooks will be available online? Got too many stores and trying to order electronics when I can.
momof3luvs1 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 No way I can actually get to best buy for doorbusters...but I actually think the ad is really good! The wii bundle is a great price and the nook as well!! They probably wont do that online right?
SuggaD Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Does anyone know if those netbooks will be available online? Got too many stores and trying to order electronics when I can. It was last year (sorry if my last post wasn't clear), but sold out VERY quickly, but they restocked later.
DaFees Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I think the ad scan is missing some pages? Like a page full of $7.99 Blu-Rays for example.
miller205 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Nothing to get there early for The HP desktop for 499 is the same price on their site right now!
zim05 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I think the ad scan is missing some pages? Like a page full of $7.99 Blu-Rays for example. You are right! It is missing a page of DVDs/Blu-Rays!
suzy3333 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Ok. I saw 2 things of interest. The only problem is that they are both doorbusters. I bet they would make more money if they offered their doorbusters all day. LOL Oh well, I'll have to keep looking elsewhere. There is no way I can stand in line when I have to care for 4 children (3 of which are special needs).
DaFees Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 To quote a listing on another site, here is the $7.99 Blus: Brooklyn's Finest Watchmen I am Legend The Departed Hancock The Crazies Superbad The Wrestler Resevoir Dogs Law Abiding Citizen Gran Torino White out Big Daddy V for Vendetta
jmecherul Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 what?????? how is this any different that what they have any week? this is an insult to black friday. ridiculous.
catlady1971 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Not seeing too much. Not even seeing any MP3 players. Hey Brad, thanks for posting. You are one great guy!!!! AWESOME JOB
zim05 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 The missing page with Blu-ray & DVDs list the following as $7.99 for Blu-ray and 3.99 for DVD: Blu-Ray - Brooklyn's Finest, Watchmen, I am Legend, The Departed, Hancock, Superbad, The Crazies, The Wrestler, Reservior Dogs, Law Abiding Citizen, Gran Torino, Whiteout, Big Daddy and V for Vendetta DVDs - My Sister's Keeper, The International, Drag Me to Hell, American Gangster, The Bling Side, Xman the Last Stand, Super Troopers, Lord of the Rings (unsure of which on), Observe and Report, The Hangover, 300, A Perfect Getaway and Year One.
xxxbrendoxxx Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 This is probably the weakest Black Friday ad I have seen from Best Buy in a long time. I know they no longer have to compete with Circuit City these past few years, but cmon..alot of these are sales they have had recently or are now - nothing blowing you out of the water. Wal-Mart is probably seeing this and glowing knowing their ad will probably destroy this. I do hope Best-Buy does the "unadvertised specials" they have done before..
Brad Posted November 12, 2010 Author Posted November 12, 2010 If some wants to PM me the missing page scan, please go ahead and do it and I'll update the scan when I'm done typing up the ad.
