I did not know that. Thanks for clarifying. I've never had that happen before. Every year their "leaked" ad was always the same as the one in the store. I don't know why this year was different. Oh well, their loss. I was going to buy $150 worth (5 multipacks) and would've ended up going back and spending more than what I would've gotten back in the gift cards. I went into my local Walgreens to take advantage of the iTunes gift card offer (Buy $30 multipack get $10 Walgreens gift card). However, my Walgreens would not honor what was in the ad that was posted (which was is 12 pages) and had a different ad (only 8 pages) and the iTunes was not in that ad. Has this happened to anybody else? Can Walgreens have multiple advertisements even though they are not a franchise? Thanks.

Honestly, I can't specifically say what stores. I like to pick names of people off different "giving trees" and get what they were asking for. For those that don't know what a "giving tree" is, people who are having a hard time list things that they need. I don't know who they are. No names are listed. It all goes through my towns social services so it's all legit. I did it last year and had so much fun doing it and (more importantly) it teachers my children to help others. My little ones actually had fun picking the names off the tree.

The first (main) walmart I went to only received 16 of those Lego creative tower bricks. I left my 16 year old at them while I was at the 2nd must have item. He was able to get all the Lego creative towers we needed.

I price matched at 3 different walmart's with no problem. I did have the ads with me (even though their policy states I don't need them).

Awesome. I already purchased the items I wanted from Target at Walmart yesterday. I pulled up the ad on my phone and Walmart gladly matched the prices for me. Now, there is no reason for me to go to Target. I will just have to go back to Walmart to get the items that I want from them. LOL And with the 1-hour guarantee card, I'm hoping I won't have any problems. LOL

Found this on Walmart's website. "On Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday and any of their shopping trips, customers can take advantage of the everyday ad match policy* available at Walmart stores. If a customer spots a lower price on an advertised item, and comes into a Walmart store during the same day and time that the competitor’s ad is valid, Walmart will match the price at the register." The regular ad match is different that the Christmas ad match. So, you would have to take the other retailer's black Friday ads into Walmart DURING THE SAME DAY AND TIME and you can get the item price matched right at the register. I also hate the fact that the managers DO NOT have a clue about their own stores policy. I usually inform them because I print out the policy and bring it with me and then make them read it. :smh:

So, if I was to get to Walmart (let's say) at 6:55pm, would I still be able to get a guarantee card if they ran out of the item(s) that I want?
