AHH - which ones do you to go? I grew up in this area, and my mom says that she never found the 75% off toys in her store (last Jan & last July). Her store is the in Sch'dy. I haven't had the heart to asked her to check this time around.

The Target in Schenectady/niskayuna area went to 75% this morning, utter craziness!! I doubt there will be much left by now, people were scooping things up by the arm loads.

my target was at 50% on toys. there was no one around with a "pda" who could tell me when or if things would be marked down further. i asked the manager and she said they weren't going to mark toys down today and she didn't know when they would. wierd. i drove 22 miles - the closest target.

DD had an appointment this morning so we didn't get to the first store until after 11-- ugh. The 2 things I really wanted were gone but... the one Target that went 75% on Thursday of last week did drop most of the 50% stuff to 75% today and the 30% stuff to 50%.... so I would assume that means all the other stores will follow suit next week. And, probably not the right forum, but I did pop into Kohls and they had a small but nice selection of toys marked down 60-85% off.

My persistence finally paid off this morning. After checking once Wednesday and twice yesterday, I hit the 75% off right as the were beginning to mark it down this morning!! The staff were super nice too. The only disappointment was that the Lego's didn't come down any more in price- they stayed at 50%.

I was happy to have gotten "first pick" b/c there were a few items that they only had one of that I was able to get such as:

Was there till about 9:30 yesterday and there wasn't any action in toys. There were 12 Spikes, so I thought I had a pretty good chance at getting one. I got there at 8:05 and the last one had been found by a fellow GDer. The rest had dissappeared. The cashier said that she checked out several last night, so I guess they marked down toys later in the day yesterday. That's alright, I didn't really NEED Spike, he would be a nice-to-have for us. Can someone tell me when the dora adventure hut and other play huts will go 75% off, I thought this would happen with the toys but these are only 50% off at my store.

I've never saw employees shopping in my store, but I have offered them stuff if they commented on wanting one and I had more than one. I've never had anyone take me up on it though because they all said that they could lose their job. When I got my 21 rolls of tape I tried to get the cashier to "put a few back" because "I didn't want them", but she wouldn't do it. Anyway.....

 

Decatur, AL is 75% off on MOST toys!! The rest will probably go in 2 weeks, because that's how they did it last year. Most went 75% off on the 15th and then the rest went 75% off on the 29th. Though they seem to be messing with me this year so it might not. I got everything I wanted and then a few more things I didn't need. LOL....
