Inventory checker still showing 50/30 on Christmas clearance here today. Crappy weather so I'm not going to go out and check but the inventory checker has always been right on prices for me. What an odd year for clearance. Wonder if it will drop tomorrow.

I was 90/70 here. Only went to one store. Found more Sinful Colors nailpolish for .19. Had plain glow in the dark, one greenish with little spiders in it, one blueish with moons in it. Halloween was 70/30 here yesterday . Black square dollar spot stuff was 70 and back with the rest of the Halloween stuff. I've never seen that before, but I live in a new area. Wondering if that means $ spot will actually go 90% this year. Got some hand soap, some pump paint, and some gift bags for .30. I checked the inventory checker for a couple things the night before the 70% and around 8:45 west coast time it was showing 70% though just a few hours earlier it was showing 50%. I was tempted to drive out to target, but didn't. If I see that for 90% though I might drive over there that late. The only hidden find was some glow in the dark nail polish. There was still an endcap display that they had missed. Otherwise this store did a reeeealy good job at clearing stuff out of the regular aisles. I'll try a different store for 90%.

Inventory checker still showing 50% off non food so I'm not bothering to go out today. I went out yesterday and not much left here, but I'll go back at 70% to see what I can find. Not Target but I also went to Michaels and they were 80% on Halloween.

I completely forgot about toy clearance today. I'll probably venture out in the morning but doubt there will be much good left. Would love pics of anything good anyone found.

Does anyone know what day storage would get marked down? (plastic storage bins and the like) Went to Target for the first time in over a month and there was almost a whole aisle of various plastic storage marked 15%, mostly sterilite but a few other brands as well. I'd like to keep checking back for markdowns. Not much on clearance here except lots and lots of clothes, but nothing more than 30% here. Best deal today was outdoor crayola was on sale plus a 25% cartwheel. The kids burn through sidewalk chalk.

Get a dcpi for the product. Type it into the checker and your zip and it will show what your closest stores (should) have in stock and the price.

Saw on other site that some stores went 70%/50% today on easter. Silly me drove to closest store to find 50/30 then while standing disappointed in the aisle remembered that I could have saved myself a trip if I had checked the inventory checker from home. Dollar spot easter was marked 30% but I didn't see anything good so I didn't even scan it. There was lots of sunscreen clearance 50% at my store.

Went to another store today. Found a bag of the lego city helicopter just sitting on the shelf. The inventory checker said 0 left so that was a happy find. My favorite find this valentine's season, I found nordicware baking pans/cookie sheets in the regular aisle at 90%. They are the big rectangular ones. The labels have red on them and say "Seasonally Sweet" otherwise look exactly like the regular ones. dpi- 070-06-0332

The inventory checker indicated 2 of the 3 stores I thought about going to today were at 90 and the third at 70 for valentines clearance. So I went to the two that it indicated were at 90 since they are close to each other. Both were 90. I didn't make the drive to the one the inventory checker said was 70. The numbers of items left seemed fairly accurate per the checker. I'm guessing the few things I couldn't find someone had stashed somewhere or were seriously misplaced. $ spot was 70 at one store, salvaged at the other. If anyone needs dcpi for something specific I'd be happy to pull out my receipts if I have that item. I tossed all my stuff in the closet since most of it is going in easter baskets. ETA: Over the last couple days I got Lego Friends little pack, Lego city little pack, Frozen LED balloons, Frozen elsa star lights thing, peanut M&Ms, some other candy to put in easter baskets, goldfish pack, whistle lips, some valentines day cards packs with tattoos/pencils, and I'm sure I've forgotten some things.

Seeing some reports that some stores went 90% on valentines and 70% on dollar spot today. It looks like the inventory checker might actually be keeping pace with clearance markdowns. I'm not heading out until tomorrow since the checker is still indicating 70% v-day at my stores. Well, one store is showing 90% but it isn't worth my time for that store (distance & what's left.) p.s. If anyone does find 90% today and has checked that store against the inventory checker I'd love to know if it was accurate... would save a lot of unnecessary Target "checking if clearance dropped" trips if the inventory checker does it.
