  1. Summer clearance was at 50% here today, only thing I bought was the Yonanas dessert maker which I have really been wanting all summer for the kids. Snce they only had 2 I didn't want to wait until 70%. It did ring up full price but there were 50% signs everywhere so they honored it without any major argument. Going to head back tomorrow to look at what gets marked down in toys, this store has just about 1 or 2 of all the different Lalaloospy toys that are clearanced (playhouse, travel playhouse, carousel, and bus) will have to buy them at 50% if they go to that tomorrow. My girl would LOVE them for Christmas.
  2. I was at the target on University and the one on Fruitville in Sarasota and nothing changed but them moving things around when I was there. I'll be heading out right away tomorrow because I want the Imaginext stuff they have on sale. If you want to pm me your cell I can text you what I see at the Fruitville store since that's where I will start in the morning. I have a few friends that I'm texting when I get there so I can add you to the list if you want.
  3. Yikes, the pictures are really big!! Sorry about that, I have tried to resize them but it doesn't work. Well you can see in life size what I got I guess.
  4. I think most of the things I got have been listed so here is just a picture of my haul. I spent around $300 and saved $900. http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/z370/sabbie4/493.jpg http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/z370/sabbie4/498.jpg
  5. I felt so bad for your little boy that I scored a second Star Wars set today just in case you wanted it! My son already opened his up and they are divided into 3 smaller boxes of 3 figures, it would cost a bit to ship and would have to be done in the 3 boxes instead of the long one but if you want it I can find out how much it would be. If not no big deal just grabbed it in case for you.
  6. All 3 stores I hit this morning in Sarasota/Bradenton FL were ringing up 50% off still. Two of them were decimated and the other still had a decent selection of basics but nothing like I have seen in the past. Also walked around the consolidated toy clearance isles in one store and it was pretty sad too, not much clearanced and only a few of each item if that.
  7. Me too! So excited for this, they jumped from 30% off to 75% so I was shocked to find that gem this morning. Since we are in FL we still have lots of outdoor time left before it gets to cold to use. Someone mentioned the margarita machine, I haven't seen them on clearance around here anyone else? I'm assuming it's a Margaritaville one, would love it to go with the Margaritaville tailgater grill (marked down to $150!) I just got at HomeGoods the other day for football season.
  8. The touch and pocket are both clearance at 50% at my stores. The pocket was $74 and the touch was $84 but today they have signs up advertising the clearance price so I doubt they will be around at 75% off now.
  9. Has anyone seen the Sony Reader (like the Kindles) marked down to 75% yet, my store had 3 at 50% off but am having a hard time being patient. Stalking so many things right now!
  10. 75% off toys at 1 of the 3 stores I hit this morning in Sarasota FL. Haven't unpacked car yet but wanted to post as soon as possible for those wanting to know if any stores had marked down today.
  11. Found a few things in baby 75% off, got the Tiddlewinks mod sport bumper set for $17.xx, a bottle drying rack for $3.xx, and a boppy slipcover for $3.74. Other then that most was still at 50%at the 1st store I was at. The 2nd store I hit I couldn't find anything other then the 2 pack Gerber sleepers and tons of the Graco travel systems at 50%. No idea where everything went to, it was 8:45 in the morning! I was there at 6pm on Friday so I know they didn't markdown on Friday and they had lots of stuff but this morning just empty shelves. Not even the random thing at 30% or 50%, it was just all gone. I asked a sales associate and she just said it must of all just sold already or something. So disappointed, there was a couple of things I wanted there like the steam sterilizer and extra sheets. The 3rd store I hit looked like it went on Friday, most was picked over and odds and ends left. Of course the Eddie Bauer bassinet I have stalking is stilll at 30% after 4 weeks so skipped on that. In toys I found a couple of good returns, the Circo Train Table for $21.xx (got one last year at 75% off and wanted an extra one for upstairs for his Imaginext toys) and a Smart Cycle Bob the Builder game (only one I didn't find earlier on clearance). Made up for the lackluster baby 75% off stuff today.
  12. If you missed out on most of the toys at 75% off take a look at Kohls right now. Today I found a few items that were cheaper then what I bought at Target. Not a large selection but most of the VTech toys were 70% off and using the $5 coupon you get for signing up for their email list I was able to get the Vtech Move and Crawl Ball for $.42, Vtech Light Up Learning Camera for $.42, and the Baby Alive Real Suprises with bonus food and diapers for $12.00 (reg $55 I think). Each seperate transactions and used 1 $5 coupon on each. Now I can return over $24 worth of stuff to Target. Hope that helps.
  13. My son is 2 and last year we went to 11 birthday parties so most of what I buy is for his birthday, Christmas, and for his friends birthday parties. Heck he isn't even in daycare that's just his friends from playgroup and our neighborhood. We are expecting #2 in June so I did buy lots of toys for Christmas gifts for the baby too. I also have 4 nieces and nephews under 10 that I still buy present for (over 10 we don't do it anymore, I have an additional 7 above 10 and you have to cut it off somewhere. That's what happens when you are the youngest of 6 siblings, they all have kids and pretty soon you have a large group to buy for.) I spent a bit over $500 and none of it is for resale. If I can find $30-$40 toys that I can get at 75% off I am happy to give them as gifts and not feel like a cheapskate at a party when they open it! Most of our friends spend in that range for a gift and I always want to give a gift that would have cost similar at full price. Last year I did buy some to resell but the selection was larger and there were more of each item so I didn't mind buy 2 of some things and selling 1 on Craiglist to offset the cost of the one I was keeping. I spent around $1000 last year and sold $200 worth (bought at 75% off and sold them at 50% off retail) made $200 on the ones I sold so I ended up paying $600 for $3200 worth of toys. What I still had in my toy closet before Christmas that I wasn't going to use I donated to Toys for Tots.
  14. Thanks for the heads up on the Old Navy 50% off clearance! I scored a $50 off $100 coupon last night from ONW and can't wait to use it.
