bettyn100 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 eMachine laptop with a 15.6-inch LCD display, 2GB memory and 160GB hard drive for $198 This has a 1.6 ghz processor......a bit arcadic. Hewlett-Packard laptop with a 15.6-inch display, 3GB memory and 250GB hard drive for $298 Same one that was on sale for the secret saturday sale
arci122 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Wow-their 32"tv listed is 2 more than Target and the small appliances are 1 more, think that will make people go to Target?
Brad Posted November 17, 2009 Author Posted November 17, 2009 Wow-their 32"tv listed is 2 more than Target and the small appliances are 1 more, think that will make people go to Target?Considering they are different models, it probably won't make much of a difference.
marshmallowpuff Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 What's everyone's realistic opinion of the Blu-Ray? I want to pick up one for my parents at this price point. They won't notice a huge difference in clarity (they barely notice at all actually), but I still want to upgrade them to go with their new Sharp HDTV>
DramaQueenLucy Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I like the blu ray at Target the best...JMO
SuperMommy Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Wow-their 32"tv listed is 2 more than Target and the small appliances are 1 more, think that will make people go to Target?Something tells me that people will still go to WalMart. Especially stores that are open 24 hours. Waiting inside is SO much better than waiting outside in the cold!! The temperature difference is definately worth it to me!! I was planning on going to Target for that tv, but if this is ture I'll go to WalMart. Emerson makes a decent tv. We need a new bedroom tv and the one we have in here now is an Emerson, I've had it for 9 years and it has JUST started messing up.
aztater Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 is the emachine laptop a good deal? I was thinking of getting a netbook but for $30-$50 more I can just get a laptop. Not sure what to do anymore. I have a desktop, this was just to be an extra (portable) means of being on line.
tiredmom214 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Which TV do you think is better, the Emerson or the Westinghouse? I know nothing about TVs and really want to get my dh one for Christmas. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
krissy72 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Considering they are different models, it probably won't make much of a difference. Both models have bad reviews.
camsmom Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Sounds like I may be hitting Wal Mart this weekend too if they're going to cut prices on certain toys and I will be interested in seeing the deal with the Guitar Hero...thanks for the link to this story Brad!! Can't wait until you can post the BF ad!
andybrooke Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Im pretty excited about what they have in the article. I might be interested in one of their computer deals and the xbox deal. The tom tom for $59 sounds really nice too and the blu ray player... jeez, i can already see where I will be on black friday.
krissy72 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Wonder if CNN had to have permission to relay this info?
SuperMommy Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Wish we knew what model that Tom Tom is. I have been eyeballing the one on Target's front page.
Just Me Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Wonder if CNN had to have permission to relay this info?CNN has lawyers of its own along with the whole freedom of the press argument. They did this last year to. I kinda think they enjoy it

bettyn100 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Wish we knew what model that Tom Tom is. I have been eyeballing the one on Target's front page.Tom Tom one 125-se
Brad Posted November 17, 2009 Author Posted November 17, 2009 Wonder if CNN had to have permission to relay this info?WM was not happy when they got the call from CNN...
Brad Posted November 17, 2009 Author Posted November 17, 2009 Some of the items have exclusive model numbers to prevent price matching.
bettyn100 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 is the emachine laptop a good deal? I was thinking of getting a netbook but for $30-$50 more I can just get a laptop. Not sure what to do anymore. I have a desktop, this was just to be an extra (portable) means of being on line. Most of the netbooks have the same processor speed as the emachine laptop. The laptop has the same size hard drive as a netbook but 1 gb more of memory.

Is everyone pretty confident that the HP is the same one they had on the Saturday sale?

Jen8112 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Yes....positive!Ok, cool. Looks like I might be able to open the box of the laptop I bought at BB last week! Just wanted to make sure there weren't going to be anything better before I opened it! Thanks!
Just Me Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Ok, cool. Looks like I might be able to open the box of the laptop I bought at BB last week! Just wanted to make sure there weren't going to be anything better before I opened it! Thanks!Keep in mind both BB and wally are prone to secret sales. The lack of a dual core lappy from wally is making me wonder if that will be on the secret sale list
Tigger97498 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I am so getting that $78 magnavox blu ray. I know it hasnt been very highly rated but I just need a cheap one for my bedroom. I went the pricey reliable route for the computer room.

I bought the one for $429 at BB last week. I don't think they will have anything better BF but now I have to worry about "secret" sales! urg!

mommy2twingles Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Nice that they mention price matching in the ad. Might need to print this out to take with in case there are any problems.
vhoperformance Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Link doesn't work for me. I even tried the copy and paste method as well as typing it.
