angelic680 Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 How much would you pay for a Zhu Zhu Pet????
angelic680 Posted November 13, 2009 Author Posted November 13, 2009 WoW I really thought that you guys would pay more....LoL
Thumper501 Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I am not paying more the msrp. Sure I'll pay for shipping, but that's it.
angelic680 Posted November 13, 2009 Author Posted November 13, 2009 I am not paying more the msrp. Sure I'll pay for shipping, but that's it.I don't blame ya!! I wouldn't pay more either......
rjncmj Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I almost broke down and bought a green carrier on ebay but I just couldn't pay $10.50 + $2.80 shipping for something that cost $5. Then the next green carrier that I was watching went for $25.00 + $2.80 shipping!!! I haven't checked ebay since.

AudreyNicole Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I am another one that won't pay more than retail, unless it's for shipping costs. :)
fluffkin79 Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I thought that these were really cute when I first saw them. Then I came to my senses and realized that they would end up in the garage with all of my kids' other neglected toys. The only way that I would buy one of these is if one of my kids put it on thier must-have list, and as of now they don't even know that zhu zhu pets exist. Even then, I couldn't bring myself to pay more than retail on something that I don't think my kids would love for very long. This year I am steering away from toys that the kids watch and getting ones that they can do something with.
rjncmj Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 where is the option for $5 or less?or the option waiting for garage sales?
dealluvr Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 if i find out my nieces daughter wants one i would pay up to $25 just to make her wish come true but also knowing it might end up on the floor in a few days
georgiapeach717 Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 we all know how i feel LOL, obviously my answer was 8-10 (with shipping if need be)
deljack27 Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I voted $10-$25 but shipping would have to be included in that amt.
angelic680 Posted November 13, 2009 Author Posted November 13, 2009 where is the option for $5 or less?or the option waiting for garage sales? LoL ~ you guys are funny!! I tried to edit the poll but it wouldnt let me....hahaah What stores had them for $5 the lowest I saw was $8 @ walmart...
Illinoismom Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 where is the zero amount, thats what I would have put
amez74 Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 I found them at Walmart for $8 and bought two-wish I had bought more, but I would certainly not pay more for them. If my children didn't get one they would be okay-they know santa doesn't get you everything on your list.
conj Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 LoL ~ you guys are funny!! I tried to edit the poll but it wouldnt let me....hahaah What stores had them for $5 the lowest I saw was $8 @ walmart...never said I saw it at 5 bucks... hence I don't own any :) Why pay retail?
angelic680 Posted November 15, 2009 Author Posted November 15, 2009 where is the zero amount, thats what I would have putAwe...guess you and conj arent looking for them....lol
angelic680 Posted November 15, 2009 Author Posted November 15, 2009 never said I saw it at 5 bucks... hence I don't own any :) Why pay retail? For those of you that said "Any price to get what my kids want?" I'll sell one for $50 LOL
jerica388 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I would not pay over msrp (with the exception of shipping, as some of you have mentioned). My kids have been reminded many times that a Christmas list is a WISH LIST, not a list of demands.
butterflyksses Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I believe that the less people willing to pay the outrageous third party prices, the less people will be able to do that. Therefore, I am definitely one who will not pay over retail plus shipping. Just a couple of days ago a former classmate posted on Facebook that she had some for $20. each. That's not a lot for something my child really wants, but I just won't get it for that price because it's the principle of it to me. I wouldn't have had to pay shipping as I pass her store on a daily basis.
momof3luvs1 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Well, I am on the fence about it. If it was the main thing my dd wanted I would pay anything if I was down to the wire and it was christmas eve but would search every other possibility first! My daughter just expressed interest in these a few days ago..she really wants 1 but its not her #1 I must have item. So I will pay about 15.00 for one. ( this being msrp and shipping etc...) I know christmas is not about presents. My kids all know this as well but I LOVE seeing the joy on their faces when they get something they really want..and that is what christmas is about for me..my kids happiness..that is priceless =)
angelic680 Posted November 18, 2009 Author Posted November 18, 2009 Wow....these little things are ridiculously priced on ebay....
mom2monkiesx3 Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 I bought it all (except for the skateboard) and I am really considering selling them on Ebay. My kids haven't shown ANY interest in them at all (ages 11,8,6) and I might as well make a few bucks. I am with Angelic..those of you that would pay $50 or more can TOTALLY have mine
hinman Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 I bought one a while ago and thought I will put up for Christmas. My kids have not asked for it at all, I am beginning to wonder if it was me that thought the idea was cute and not my kids. They are asking for totally different stuff. Anyway I wouldn't pay more then retail.
angelic680 Posted November 19, 2009 Author Posted November 19, 2009 I bought it all (except for the skateboard) and I am really considering selling them on Ebay. triplej2002 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 $0.00, because I just heard about the things and luckily my son doesn't want one. Even if he did want it, I wouldn't pay more than a few bucks over MSRP.
pogiporkchop Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 DD would like some, but she's not fussed over getting them. If I happen to find some I'll likely grab them but if not it's no big deal. Wait for the garage sales...
