9:15 pm and we are still having major wind gusts. I think we made it up to 3 degrees today. Prayers for the homeless and animals out in this unbearable cold.

Our last day is the 21st as well, if we make it till then. We had 100 kids out sick today and the sickness is spreading like wildfire.

I received my package today and, of course, I couldn't wait to open it! You really outdid yourself!! I received a beautiful police bracelet (my son is a deputy sheriff), a wax warmer and wax bar to go with it, the softest liner socks I've ever felt and Hershey Kisses. My Secret Santa definitely spoiled me...thank you so much!!!

That's adorable!!! I wish I knew where it came from. I have a secret Santa at work and the person whose name I got collects ornaments and I'd love to get her one of those!

Late? I wonder what that makes me then. We have a very curious indoor kitten this year so I don't know that we'll even put up a tree this year. Our kids are grown so it's no big deal, but I don't know if I can do Christmas without a tree. I just might put one up on our enclosed front porch and call it good.

Proud to say that I'm almost done with my shopping! Not totally done, but close. This is the earliest I've been so close.

I wonder how many we'll end up with at the end of this contest. Hopefully I'll be one who remembers to post. I have every year so far!

Menards is the one I always look forward to. I always find quite a bit in that ad. It seems like I usually don't see it till at least the Sunday before Thanksgiving (at the earliest) but I haven't seen it yet. COME ON, MENARDS!!!!

Like a lot of people, I'm doing a lot of my shopping online now. My sister and I will still go out early on Friday morning out of tradition. We'll most likely make it a point to go to Menards first since they always have things we want. After that we'll just kind of mosey around from store to store.

Will start out in Findlay, Ohio then either head north to Toledo or south to Lima. Maybe all 3...it's been done before!

Same. I may or may not have already accumulated a good stash of the Kohl's throws this year. They're just too hard to resist!

I've often thought of buying a Cricut too but I don't need it for anything. Plus I don't have a crafty bone in my body. In elementary school our teacher would give us a project to do and would hold up an example. I would try to make mine look exactly like hers but it didn't even resemble it in any way, shape or form! lol I guess I would need convinced to buy an air fryer. I've thought about them before but I don't want it taking up space on my counter when my oven does a good job.

I just ordered the Calphalon pans and earned $30 in Kohl's Cash. I need a good set of pans and have heard good things about this brand.

Let's just say I hope my husband isn't home when all the orders start rolling in!

Maybe that's what I should do too. I'm stumped on what to get my person, although I do have a couple things in my Amazon shopping cart already.

I work at a school so we always have Thursday and Friday off. This year, for some reason, we have the entire week off.
