  1. You can also get a $5 printable coupon for Vital Radiance that can be combined with the $7 easysaver if you first register here: https://www.vitalradiance.com/Pg/Reg/CouponRegister.aspx?&F I noticed that the lip glosses were $12.99, so they would be $.99 after the coupon. Since free makeup's not that hard to come by I don't know if it's worth it, but maybe this is extra good stuff.
  2. I printed out a bunch of the CC rebate forms for items I bought online. They all want something called the "ticket number." Does anyone know what this is? Is it the order number? That was the only thing I could come up with. Thanks!
  3. All of the Circuit City rebate forms that printed out on BF have a line to print the "ESN or serial number." Problem is, two are for the screen cleaner, and one is for Turbo edition of Cranium. Am I right in thinking neither of these have an ESN? Think I'll get rejected if I write "NA" on that line?
  4. Best buy-- but only because of the Reward Zone. Otherwise-- Target because I like shopping there or Circuit city because they are the closest to home.
  5. Started at CC. I arrived at 5 Am since I didn't want any doorbusters. Line was all the way around the bldg-- crazy!! Checkout took about 45 minutes. Only thing I didn't get were the $5 DVDs-- the crowd around the bin was three people deep and I didn't want to wait. I got: Friends season 9 Cinderella DVD Cranium turbo+ ziggity for free w/$20 rebate Screen cleaner FAR Coldplay CD for $6.99 Then on to Target. Arrived around 6:15. I got: $29.99 xmas tree + wreath (main things I wanted) $14.88 Charlie and choc. factory DVD fuzzy leopard print slippers $4.88 two sets of ornaments for tree (not on sale) Didn't get the PS2 game I wanted and Target refused to raincheck it. Had words about that to no effect. Left and went to Staples. Arrived at 7:15. They were out of the FAR paper shredder, so I left. Went to a Walgreens across the street. I got: 6 Planters peanuts (was told they didn't care about the limits) 2 Revlon $.99 lip glosses (forgot to use a $1 coupon I had!) Schick quattro power FAR alarm clock $4.99 - $4 rebate 3 of the Kodak instant cameras on sale for $3.99 - # $3/1 coupons-- thought it would be enough for Kodak $10 GC deal, but they rang up at $5.99 instead of $3.99 so I'll have to go back B1G1 12 pk batteries $3.99 plus a couple of clearance items Was heading to Radio shak (which is near home) but stopped at Hastings on the way home (media type store) because it was 7:55 and they were opening at 8-- this was the only place I actually waited in line. There were about 10 people there. I got: mini Ipod speaker set $29.99 - $20 rebate 2 $5.99 DVDs (About a boy and 21 grams) Bob Dylan 2 cd set that I thought was new and so I could use the flier coupon for any new CD for $8.99 on-- turned out it was used (though in perfect shape) and so on sale for $3.99!!! (as all used CDs were) CRT said I saved $21 on this item. At this point I had to go to the bathroom really bad so I headed home. Woke up DH and we hit Gamestop and EB games. He got 6 used games (B2G1 free) plus one more at EB games where he had $8 in credit. Had lunch out and then stopped at Walmart and PMd the PS2 game we couldn't get at Target. Last stop was Linens N Things for two new down pillows, on sale for $49.99 each, plus we each used a 20% off coupon so they were $39.99 each. I also ordered a few items from CC online on T'day-- batteries, memory stick and laptop kit. Pretty good day all around, though not as much fun shopping alone as it usually is with my family. I did ask my dad to pick up the $20 roaster oven at Walmart since I wasn't going to be there for the doorbusters. Oh, and at the T'day sale at Kmart, I got Alice in Wonderland and Bambi on DVD, 4 pepsi 2Ls, and the poker chip set for DH. Only thing I didn't get was DVD of 8 Mile-- even though it was on sale at lots of places, I couldn't find it anywhere. Hope everyone had a great day!! And get some sleep!
  6. You can also get free shipping at Best Buy if you do in store pick up. I know, not helpful if you don't have a BB nearby you, but it's great if you just want to avoid the BF crowds.
  7. I showed up at Kmart at 7:05 am. Parking lot was semi-full, and the store was busy but no problems getting around. I couldn't find the poker set at all and had to ask someone-- turned out they hadn't put it out at all yet, and only had 2!!! So lucky I asked, since that was most of what I came for too. Also got Bambi and Alice in Wonderland on DVD, the pepsi 2Ls and the Hamilton Beach roaster which may be going back now that I see that the promised $10 rebate comes as a gift card and not cash. Couldn't believe I was back home by 7:30!
  8. I'm not a man either but I've gotten my DH the following stuff: -- fancy eyeglasses cleaning machine from Sharper Image -- wine decanter and funnel -- an air purifier with HEPA and all that -- completed our collection of Buffy and Angel DVDs I'm also getting on BF the PS2 World Series of Poker game and a bunch more TV DVD collections, and any more PS2 or GameCube games he decides he wants btw now and then. Some of the above stuff seems lame and practical I know but it's stuff he always complains about (the glasses and his allergies) but won't do anything about himself. So that's my gift to him.
  9. It depends on if I end up going to CompUSA at 12 or not. They are in the same mall as Circuit City, and it's only five minutes from my house. So that's officially my first stop now. But I want to get a look at the CompUSA ad (in my hands) before I decide. If I go there, it will probably be 0 hours sleep. If I just go to CC, then I'll get at least a couple of hours. Turns out I don't have to cook T'day dinner this year, so now all I have to worry about is shoppng! :banana01:
  10. I think she's saying she doesn't have the extra cash to float the second group of purchases before she can return the original ones. I can't stand paying extra, so I'd be inclined to take my chances and return the stuff-- but then I don't have kids either. If the stuff you bought was regular price and not any special deal, though you may as well go ahead and return it and try to get the BF deals. You could always re-buy after BF. As long as you aren't looking for an XBOX 360, I don't think you'll have any trouble finding more items-- except maybe the Cabbage Patch Baby. Good luck!
  11. Diet Coke, Diet Coke and more Diet Coke:gd_pineap :gd_pineap
  12. Yeah! I love Round 2, so much more relaxed than Round 1. A few years ago we hit Walmart at the crack of dawn and my dad bought a (then) big tv which was a door buster on the spur of the moment. A later that afternoon we ended up back there for some reason and they still had a ton of them, still at the door buster price, so he bought another one for his girlfriend, lol.
  13. I love real trees too but I'm afraid our cats (four) will try to eat the tree, since they always eat and destroy any living plant I bring in the house. Which is why we're leaning toward the fake trees. Kmart has a Martha Stewart 6' tree on sale on this coming Saturday only for $45 (with no lights). Is this a good deal or should I wait til BF? (Wish I knew what that Walgreens tree looked like!)
  14. This is our first year as homeowners and the first year possibly to buy a tree, real or fake. We're leaning toward fake now, and I would love advice as to a good price-- are any of the tree in the BF ads a good price? The other option would be to wait until the day after xmas or later and hit the clearance sales. What to do??
  15. There haven't been any great BF deals on season 10 yet, but this week (until saturday) it's $27.99 at Target and Circuit City. :g_dance:
