I am wanting one of the washer/dryer sets and was wondering if I should get the extra warranty? I have heard that Sears' warranty plans are very high. Can I buy a warranty on a Kenmore product anywhere else? Should I even buy the warranty?

Target does not price match. I have bought before hand and went back in during the sale hours and received the price adjustment. I think they are trying to cut down on this though so you might want to call ahead as others have suggested. Have the printed corporate policy w/you as well. I don't think they will adjust Early Bird prices, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm interested also. I think the sets in the appliance section might be a little better than the one on the front page.

Thanks Brad and rgg414!! Not a great ad though. What is going on this year? Now I really need to see the bf ad to know when and what washer/dryer deal to get. Noticed the LG says only 2 per store... crazy stupid.

After reading reviews and talking to some sales people I don't think I'll be buying the steam units. They say the new washers already get most stains out and when using the dryer you can only put in around 4 items at a time when using the steam. I usually take things out of the dryer quickly so I'm not concerned about wrinkles. Glad you got a good deal though.

What about the Friends & Family ad? That sale is usually better than the BF sale, for appliances anyway. Can you get the F&F ad?

I am looking for a washer & dryer but don't know much about the new models. Not sure if steam is the way to go or just a HE model or what? I was hoping for a good bogo deal during Sears F&F sale but was wondering about this steam set for this Fri. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated. Not sure how everyone's deal came out last year and how satisfied you are w/the units in the past.

I am looking for that ad as well. I bought all of my appliances last year during this sale b/c it was cheaper than b/f. This year I am hoping for a great washer and dryer deal. Sale is usually the 14th time frame and the ad comes out a little over a week before. Since Sears is trying the "black Fri. sales weekends" I don't know if this will affect the F&F sale. Can't wait to see the ad!!

The store opens at 4am... depending on how big your area is but I would get in line at least 2 hours before opening especially if they only offer 2 per store. Other people will be lined up for electronics and other things so the line will build quickly if you're in a big town. Try to find an appliance store so there won't be such a big line. You might possibly talk to a salesman and ask if you can buy now and just bring in your receipt during the sales hr. on BF to price adjust. Then no stress or lack of sleep on BF, lol.

Use to live in Arnold but recently moved about 20 miles south. Sometimes we cut across at Cuba I think to reach I44.

You might be able to order it on Thanksgiving. Some things online kick in the system that day. I have not ordered online from Sears so not sure. Last yr. or 2 yrs. ago Sears website basically crashed and no one was able to get online. You might have better luck finding a Sears appliance store so you're not dealing w/the crowds looking to buy electronics and such. Good luck.

I bought a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher at the F&F sale w/no problems. The Samsung 29 cuft. fridge was on sale so they would only take off 10%. I had hoped they would take the 15% off the sale price and then the 10% VIP discount. The dishwasher I bought is a doorbuster on BF but in white. They said I wouldn't be able to get the DB price on a different color. All in all it went smoothly... I already had all the numbers written down and everything picked out. We went to an appliance store so it wasn't busy at all.

It is for everyone.... no coupon or invite needed. From 6-9pm in store Sun. 11/15.

Can someone please help me confirm if Sears is giving another 10% off on appliances if you use your Sears credit card on BF. I thought I read that somewhere but now I can't find it. I have found: During door buster hrs. save 25% on all Kenmore Elite appliances. Reg. hrs. save 20% on Kenmore and Kenmore Elite appliances. Save 15% on non Kenmore appliances. I also read that during the F&F sale save an extra 10% off VIP but need to know about BF w/the Sears credit card.

I talked to 2 different Sears locations today and they said that they received an email and they are NOT suppose to price adjust on BF. I am wondering if this is in print anywhere for the public? I wonder if we can print their policy and show them on BF that it says w/in 30 days of purchase they are suppose to refund the difference. If it's not posted anywhere that they won't then do they have to honor our request for the adjustment?

Am I correct in thinking that Sears will price match on BF if you purchase the same item during the F&F sale? Some items are limited in stock on BF so was thinking might be able to get them early and then go back on BF and price adjust. We are building so I am looking for all appliances.

Waited on the phone 25 min. to cancel my GPS order this morning. Ordered it on Amazon and know it will ship out faster w/the free shipping than what I'm dealing w/Dell. Amazon has come down in price some so it will only cost me $3.84 more but at least I know I'll get it and probably before Christmas. I'm done w/Dell!!!

Does UPS make deliveries on the weekend or Christmas day? My GPS was delayed to shipped 12/22 and it shows delivery 12/25-12/29. They still have it 3-5 days shipping instead of 2 days.

I bought a Garmin GPS on 12/11 w/an expected ship date of 12/15 (today). Got an email this morning saying that it will be 12/22 now but didn't mention giving me 2 day shipping or anything. I am very upset!! This is a Christmas present and I was expecting to get it before Christmas. We will even be out of town before then so I was really needing it here by the end of this week. Hope no one has to sign for it when they drop it off. Thinking about calling and trying to get 2 day shipping or something done. This is so aggravating. It's not a computer so all they have to do is mail the stupid box. Anyone make any progress when they call? I see a lot upset w/customer service. I've never heard anything good about Dell or their computers and now this even further my thoughts. * Called customer service and from what I could hardly understand was that they are changing all orders to 2 day shipping. She transfered me to get an answer whether or not the package will have to be signed for and the next guy that I could hardly understand cut me off in the middle of my question to put me back on hold and then I got disconnected. Never again will I deal w/Dell.
