  1. Still 70% here today. I scanned several things to be sure.
  2. Do you know if the final price was really 40% off the original price? I noticed a couple 40% stickers while I was shopping this toy clearance, but I didn't pay too much attention at the time. When I got home I noticed that 1 of my Aquadoodle animals was stickered 40% off, now 2.98 (original price listed as $7ish). The other 2 animals were stickered 70% off $10 (or was it 9.99?), now 2.98. They all ended up being 70% off, they just had the wrong starting price on one of them. Something else I noticed this year - items that had been a part of the 90% holiday clearance (icloud earbuds, Ahhmazing art set) were mixed in with the toys at my store and are now marked 30-50% off.
  3. Legos DO go to 70% - at least at some stores. I've gotten them and others have reported finding them, too. The problem is they go FAST. Legos are one of those things that people are happy to buy at 50, 30, or even 15% off. The times that I have gotten Legos at 70% are the times that I've been there as they were doing the markdown.
  4. 70% here. I still have some stashed from last time (and the time before that) so I was just going to get a few things, but left with a (overloaded) cartfull! Toys: Air Hogs Battle Tracker set Air Hogs Hawk Eye Blue Sky plane Cabbage Patch Holiday Doll Polly Pocket sets Matchbox Mega Rig Supreme Hero Pack Matchbox Big Boots Police set Hot Wheels Rocket Car Science Kit Hot Wheels Video Racer Let's Play Markie Mutts (Purple doodle-bear-type dog) Let's Play pink car (Monster High size, or Barbie-sized) Cra-Z-Art bead set 'Cars' micro Super Speedway ... and more Sporting goods: NFL apparel (not sure if this is all areas, the Browns are out for the season) Glow-in-the-dark flying disk Glow-in-the-dark playground ball Franklin Toss Across/Tic Tac Toe Bean Bag Toss set (other Franklin set were available - Horseshoes, Croquet, etc.) Shoes: Loads 30-70% off. I got boots, slippers, and sparkly dress shoes.
  5. There weren't any 2-in-1 coats left at my store (they did have a couple inside layers on the clearance rack, but the shells were gone), but I did find a girls C9 winter coat for 17.xx (70% off). There is a VERY similar coat on the boy's clearance rack, but it's only 50% (scanned to be sure). I'm not sure about the color - I'll have to ask DD's opinion when she gets home, and hope her opinion doesn't change by next year! http://www.target.com/OpenZoomLayer?template=scene7-image&image=Target/14065221_is&omniZoomPartNumber=14065221&swCellSpacing=10,10&swHighlightThickness=1&swBorderThickness=0&itemTitle=C9+by+Champion%26reg%3B+Girls+Technical+Jacket&altindexid=1&omniImageCount=3
  6. Shoes are back! When I checked a few days ago there weren't many clearance shoes so I thought I'd missed out. Not true. They must'be been storing clearance shoes in the back because they are out today - bunches of them. Most are 30-50% off today with a few 70%. I picked up one pair and will be watching the rest. Toy clearance is good, but shoe clearance is even better IMHO.
  7. Any action in shoes today? There didn't seem to be any kids boots left in my store last week - did I miss the big shoe markdown?
  8. I went back today and found more goodies hiding in their departments - scissors, GUM toothbrushes, Chex Mix (peppermint muddy buddies), Goldfish Grahms, Dunkin Gingerbread coffee, Slim Jims w/ snowflakes on the wrapper. Thank you everyone for sharing all your awesome finds! It really helps when we know what to look for. I also found a few more things that I haven't seen here yet. 90% in the men's department: PJ sets (Grinch, Beavis & Butthead, Christmas story) 1.99/set Fleece PJ pants 1.49 (blue w/ trees, Black w/ headphones) PJ pants 1.69 (I got Grinch, there were others) Totes gifts (Glo-in-the-dark Ladderball game set, Fooseball set, AM/FM Radio Flashlight, 2-pk LED flashlights w/ batteries, wooden puzzle cubes) 1.49 each 90% off party supplies: Spritz balloons w/ pump in a plastic bag (the ones with the cardboard back weren't included) .30 Spritz 2-pk light up pens (kinda looks like a squishy koosh ball on the end) .30 Wooden color 'n play sets (princess, animal, astronaut - color the pieces and unfold the box for play scene) .30
  9. The ones that are on clearance look exactly the same as the non-clearance ones. The difference is the clearance ones have a stickered barcode over the regular barcode. Two of the stores I checked yesterday had both mixed together on the same rack.
  10. Thanks! I went looking for them today and found a whole rack of unmarked dresses! One store had a few boys 3-piece pant, shirt, sweater vest set clearanced for 4.74, they were mixed in with the other boys dress clothes.
  11. Fairview Park & Strongsville were 90%North Olmsted and Parma were 70% I found a lot in Strongsville, but most was still in the deparments. I took the last 2 Crayola toothbrushes (.50) and the last 2 pairs of scissors (.50), but there were still .19 ELF lip gloss and nail polish in baskets on a cosmetic endcap, along with .09 bath poofs. I found some Chirstmas T's in juniors (hanging on the back wall); there might have been clothes in other depts - I didn't look. There was a LOT of 90% mixed in with the jewlery/accessory clearance, not marked. I got makeup bags, sparkly coin purses, tights, and socks - I scanned things that didn't have the regular clearance stickers on them and they all came up 90%. Everything I got from the accessory dept had silver tags - Mossimo and (I think) Cherokee brand.
  12. Thanks for the tip! I went to another store (they had WAY more to choose from then my closest store did) and found several Hallmark Jingles the Huskey Pup sets. I picked up one for my kids and 2 more for exchanges next year.
  13. Signed 75% at my store, but rang up 50%. Cashier didn't know how to do that, so I had to do the customer service run-around to get the right price. There really wasn't a whole lot that left at my store - a few bags and bows, some bath gift sets, some cheap-looking ornaments, some singing animals. I found 1 roll of Transformers wrapping paper, but it was the only paper left as far as I could see. Half of the stuff I considered was (IMHO) still too much at 75%. Gift bags and envelope seals normally 3.99, now .99? Dollar Tree has them every day of the year, and I don't have to beg to get them for $1 there!
  14. That was fun. I got 8 things (shirts and dresses for the kids) for about $80 - not the cheapest clothes we've ever gotten, but they are really cute. How often does Dillards do and extra % off clearance? Is it on some sort of predictable schedule? I know I've hit it before, but only on chance.
  15. Bags of Lindt truffles and Giradelli chocolates were ringing up 50%, but there was a big shelf full with a 70% sign right in frontof them so they honored the 70% for me. The variety (gold) bag of Lindt had a $1 coupon that I used at store #2 on a tin of Lindt that DID ring up 70% off. The coupon is good on boxes 5.x oz or larger, not valid on bags. Yellow dots were still out at both stores I went to today. There were some scattered around the holiday stuff, too. Hickory farms 10 oz Beef Summer Sausage rang up 1.7x, normally 5.99. Hot chocolate cupcake mix and chocolate peppermint cookie mix were 70%. I think other flavors were available, but all that was left were the empty boxes. Colgate Transformers paste/2 toothbrush gift pack (.87) and GUM Starwars spinbrush (1.50) were also 70% off. There was quite a bit left at my stores, but there were also a lot a people with full carts. I got everything I really wanted today, but I think I'll still go back for 90% to see if I can find some leftovers stocking stuffers and gift bags.
  16. My DD9 likes mismatched socks and neon colors. My sister asked for mismatched neon socks for her 14-year-old girls who live in another area, so I quess it's the thing to have! There is always the classic bath or movie gift basket. Look for a deal on iTunes gift cards and include a small (Dollar store) gift or candy to unwrap.
  17. I live in EST and still had trouble ordering. As soon as they showed the dolls I went to my computer. The site was really slow. I clicked on "add to cart", nothing happened. I clicked a few more times and (several seconds later) I got 12 dolls in my cart! I went to my cart and tried to remove the extras, waited a minute, the page timed out, I backed up to the cart and Marie Grace was OOS. I went back through the Today link, added both to my cart, and finally checked out. I was afraid that they would ship Cecile, then send me a "sorry, Marie Grace is OOS" email, but I got a confirmation email and my card has been charged so it's looking good so far. (2 dolls = "Yeah!", 0 dolls = "Eh, whatever", 1 doll for 2 girls = bad news!) My girls have been wanting AG dolls for about 3 years, but I was very clear that they are too expensive and it's not going to happen. Surprise! Now I have to convince DH that $100 for dolls is a good thing... wish me luck.
  18. Awesome! Thanks. Note: I just printed my coupon and it is only good until 12/8. Use it quick!
  19. There are a few video games on clearance right now. They have Wii, xbox, ps3, and ds games at my store 30-70% off. I got 2 DS games: Wappy Dog $14.98 and Zhu Zhu (maybe it was Kung Zhu) with hamster $5.98.
  20. Thanks! I ordered Tetris from TRU. Still keeping my eyes open for a Mario deal. I love to see Target do a B2G1 again before Christmas. I'm still kicking myself for passing it up last time.
  21. Yep. The only ones I could get where $5 more than the others. I didn't get the ones I wanted, but DD won't care. She's been begging for "Skechers" for a while now, but she thinks ALL light-up shoes are Skechers. As long as they light up she'll be tickled. I looked at 6pm and they had good prices. I've never ordered from them, though, and their customer service has really bad reviews - especially when it comes to returns. I'm hoping that by ordering through Sears I'll be able to exchange these overpriced shoes if they wear out too soon. The reviews for these shoes say they tend to quit blinking. Famous Footwear didn't have blinky ones In the size we needed.
  22. I had to BEG the website to let me place an order! I really wanted to get DD a pair of light up skechers for under $30. I figured I'd pick up a few more gifts to get to $49 and free shipping. Every time I got to the shopping cart something was no longer available. I changed the color, size, or pickup option of the offending product then I tried to check out again and something else was OOS. 3 of the 4 pairs of Skechers I was interested in counted toward the $50 total for my $5/$50 coupon code, but for some reason the fouth did not (even though they were all the same price and all sold through Sears). Can you guess which pair they finally let me check out with?
  23. I have a 13-year-old nephew who I always have trouble shopping for. He wears uniforms to school and is picky about what clothes he does wear. He is very generous - so generous that I've seen him give gifts away AT his birthday party! I'd really like to give him something that he likes, but even his Mom has trouble coming up with ideas. My ideas so far: Candy and Snacks (money is very tight in their house, so treats are rare) Axe and other boy-smelly stuff (His big sisters are getting beauty baskets, so I want to make one for him too. And he usually has to use whatever the girls in the house choose.) Hoodie(s) (The one thing his Mom suggested) Video game (even though he doesn't play much. I can't come up with anyting better) R/C car (It'll give him something to do while they are staying with us, I hope)
  24. So... What's in the bag? I'm curious. Did anyone get one?
