gosh you are sooo much like me! We had a Yorkie before we had him put down in March. He was almost 16. This dog had all kinds of clothes, bomber jacket, vest, jean jacket, sweaters, you name it, he had it. I used to take him shopping with me and did he ever attract attention. We got a kitten in April because my husband didn't want to deal with the messes in the house anymore. I have to admit he's easier, but its just not the same. I did buy him a stroller this summer though! LOL

I used to hide my son's gifts in his very own closet back in the corner. He never noticed them! LOL

Yes they do, the selection was dwindling when I was there but yes they did have some. Bear in mind though that I have one of those huge Joanne's by me.

Have you tried Papa John's before...We got it once and it was absolutely the worst stuff I ever tasted.

I was going to suggest the snowflakes too! LOL. In fact, just yesterday during lunch I cut out some eight sided and six sides ones to take home and then have my GD cover with glitter to hang on the tree. Another craft I thought about doing was buying some CHEAP tea light holders, you know just the plain glass ones and then putting glue and glitter on them. Everyone can use a tea light. IKEA has them for .50 each but I bet other places have them too and you can buy the candles pretty cheap.

That's sad...I guess I'm the extreme opposite, I love having my granddaughter over. She's coming over tonite and I walked around Meijer for an hour trying to find a toy or craft we could do. Make sure you take toys for them to play with.

You can do better if you have a Joann's nearby. They were 70% off over last weekend.

Wow, I've never seen one so cheap. Unfortunately, my "kitten" is 12 and a half lbs already so I need BIG! He's a rag doll and will be over 20. BUT, THANK YOU FOR THAT! *HUGS*

I have one put away for my granddaughter's third birthday in December. How old is your son and did you buy any games that were for kids "older" than him? I want to get her the Disney princess game for it but I think the age is supposed to start at 6! So I don't know if she can handle it. Gloey

I live about 4 miles from a Kohl's (Bolingbrook, IL) and although I love the store, I have found that their toy department keeps shrinking and shrinking! I did notice that last year they brought more toys in and placed them in the aisles but I shop all year so I want my supply available all year found. Has anyone else found that their toy department is shrinking? Glo

I guess this is an appropriate post here since everyone is looking for bargains, but a couple of months ago I signed up for Freecycle (freecyle.org). Although 90% of the stuff is used, if you need something you can get it for free. I recently obtained a cat tunnel and scratching post saving me some bucks. We gave away a beautiful computer armoir and a set of weights and a weight bench so there is good stuff on there. Check it out! Glory

I go nuts at Christmas! My husband yells at me but I just can't help myself. Last year when my granddaughter was just turning two, his parents didn't even buy her anything because between the two grandmoms she got so much. This year I have started already (August) and keep going. Its like an obsession with me to buy this kid stuff.

Is this normal for ALL Targets to have these people? I am one of those that just look and look and look and then might not even buy anything. I am usually in the toy department because of my granddaughter who will be three and I have spoiled rotten! LOL. I think I would get pissed if I saw someone following me and confront them! glory
