Well that's a difficult question not knowing anything about her. But maybe she's into scrapbooking or something like that so you could get her a digital camera with a printer and she could capture pics of all those granddkids. I know I would love one of those. Or, what about a camcorder...I got one last year for Christmas and I love to use it during holidays.

I drove past it yesterday and saw it was closing and everything was 20% off. That makes me sad because I loved to go in and browse although lately I didn't think their toy prices were that great. I thought their after season prices were really good though and I always used to buy named brand underwear there really really cheap.

I think Gateway's used to be good but now it seems I hear nothing but bad things about them. I almost bought one once, about 6 years ago when they had stores. I had gotten a flyer in the mail that offered free internet service with a purchase. So we went to the store, bought the computer, they gave me my receipt and I asked about the free internet service and they knew nothing about it and refused to give it to me. So I asked for my check back and went home and called Dell. I think I ended up spending less money and got my free internet service.

ONe of my favorite things is to fill a glass bowl with glass ornaments and then put in some lights and light it up. I think it looks real pretty. YOu can also add some fake pine sprigs.

For my GD's stocking I got two Disney mugs that have floating Ariel and Cinderella, a fairytopia doll and an Arial doll and a Disney digital watch. Not sure if it will all fit in!

I wrapped all yesterday afternoon and thought I was just about done but then I found some more stuff in the closet! I hate to wrap, especially with a "helpful" cat.

I was good. I was tired and didn't really need anything so I slept late and went to Kohl's about 11. I spent 69. there, buying 7 fleece throws for co-workers that were on sale for 6.99 each and two down throws on sale for 9.99 each for two bosses. (And I got my $10 in Kohls cash to use next time). Well actually it was about 80 because I went to the Dollar store for gift wrap and bags afterwards.

Me too...I'm curious, but then I'm waaayyy out of the city, about 30 miles.

I think gift baskets are a fab idea! Although they sometimes end up costing more than a gift, they are fun.

No snow in Chicago today! I hate snow. However, its supposed to be very cold outside! I HATE WINTER, I HATE WINTER, did I say I HATE WINTER!

We're getting a Macy's next year. Marshall Field's will now be Macy's. I'm excited, especially since there will be a suburban one about a mile away from me! Yeahhhh!

Why do they do that? I mean you could be first in line and by the time you find the hidden goodies they could be gone! That doesn't seem right to me.

I thought a salesman was fos when he told me last week, but I just called my BB and they are having $30 portable dvd players on Friday. You may want to check with your local one. However, this guy told me today that he had to go to work at 2:00 to work in line control outside the store.

I think they suck. I wish there was a way for consumers to boycott them completely!

I've always wanted to get my hands on a big roll of "butcher paper." Its white so you can do so much with it. It would be a fun craft for the kids to decorate and even if you use it plain you can do so much with it.

I may be a grandma but I'm pretty "hip." I'm sure my granddaughter loves to shop with me cause she always gets whatever her little heart desires. My favorite place to take her is the Disney Store. My son gets sooo irritated with me cause I can spend hours in there. He literally has to drag me out. He tells her no and I turn around and buy it! But its fun.

I would be you that she doesn't pay for any of that stuff herself! I bet the companies all give it out as free advertising.

You know what, how many of US work hard in our jobs and what appreciation do we get? I could probably count on one hand somebody says thank you. But make a mistake or a typo and watch out!
