WoodWindBrasswind.com Student Level Trombone $99 FS!
peppysfireball replied to sbsahm's topic in Online Hot Deals
These are okay for play, but don't buy one for your child for school band. Our music teacher told us they are toys and would not be allowed in the band. -
I called our local 24 hour store to see what time to be there for the guitar hero bundles. He said the hot electronics will be sold with the line system starting at 8a.m. didn't tell me what time to start lining up but said xbox 360's two weeks ago sold out in half hour.

I hook my camcorder up to the vcr and push record on the vcr and play on the camcorder. If I come to a bad spot I pause the recording and search for the next good one. When the vcr tape is done I put a dvd in and burn the dvd. I did a lot of crying. I had over 10 years of tapes. Ended up with about 40 dvd's. I decided to get the sony handycam from bestbuy that has the 60 gig harddrive because it's only 250 and I can't buy a memory stick near that big for 50.00. It's already in my shopping cart ready to check out at midnight.

Drum set and Electric Guitar
peppysfireball replied to Catrinaf25's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
There's no comparison between real ones and the junk toy ones the retail stores sell. My son needed a trumpet for school band and first I found out what models the music store was getting them to buy. He also wanted an electric guitar for xmas that year. I refuse to spend good money on junk, so I went on Giardinelli.com, they are musicians friends sister company. I got a Blaessing intermediate model trumpet with a list price of 1200 for 450. His electric guitar was BC Rich warlock with a list price of over 400.00 for 199. I also bought a nice stand for 6.00. They are wonderful. I made monthly payments on the trumpet and it was only 15.00 a month. They also have free shipping. I cannot stress enough that if you don't buy real quality ones, they won't be happy playing them. My son is 12 now, but took lessons and his teacher was adamant you need the real thing to learn correctly. -
I was looking at this on Sears and siince they own Kmart prpbably the same. You pay a fee to layaway item and then schedule payments every two weeks. When item is paid for you pick it up at your nearest store.

They have different ones from the 40 to the 60 cents. I talked to the manager at our walmart because they were out. He said they get more on every truck, you just need to be there, usually Monday mornings. He said they are priced before they come in , so it isn't the store doing it.

Any Nintendo DS Experts out there?
peppysfireball replied to KC-Traderbear's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
That is incorrect that Gameboy old games will not play on a DS. My son plays, Old large Gameboy games, gameboy advance games and ds games all 3 on his system. We bought the old Gameboy games at a yard sale, but although they are large and look like they won't fit, they fit in the slot just fine. I would go with the DS. My ds 12 has no interest in a dsi. He is getting a camcorder that takes pics for xmas and says everything he wants works on his ds. There are literally hundreds of games for a child that age to use with a ds.My son says he goes online with his ds and plays with other kids in japan, so he isn't interested in upgrading. -
I've had mine about 5 years and was told it makes better cookies so that's all Ive used it for It's just a fan that circulates air evenly , nothing special .Would probably take off a little time, google it if in question.

The only thing I've been watching for was the Sony Handycam in blue. They are both in the ad. Cheapest I've seen it is 230 at dell, it's 269 at Walmart. Best buy is 199 and 269 for the one with a hard drive. I'm going to be online Thursday midnight and buy it like last year. Not fighting crowds, then I will drive to Walmart and leisurely watch everyone else panic. -
I live in a hunting family and everyone in our town hunts. My son does Archery league also. We buy from Cabelas, they have excellent sales. Also for local stores, the farm and home supplies have lots of camo, everything from camping chairs, to shoes. My grandkids all have camo dresses and onesies from farm and home.

I just googled Dell coupon codes and came up with a 15 off.I tried it on the camcorder I'm buying and it worked. You can try that, it comes up with several possibilities.
-
I had considered the C10, until I did comparison's with the Sony Handycam. My son didn't care as long as it was blue, but the Sony has many more features. I found it on Dell for 245 which is slightly less than Walmarrt, but I have a Dell coupon code for 15.00. and I'm going to see if it goes on sale then apply my coupon code, with free shipping also.

Guitar Hero Aerosmith w/2 wireless guitars $43 @ Target.com
peppysfireball replied to jendeere's topic in Online Hot Deals
Can't ever get the edit button to work. We bought this game early summer at Walmart for 10.00. It was old then. I still need a guitar, but 45.00 after shipping is too much when we don't need the game. I will go to Walmart and pay 26.00 unless I find a different bundle. -

Walmart 11/7 In-Store Specials Official Discussion Thread
peppysfireball replied to Brad's topic in 2009
I don't know if this helps, but I copied and pasted from a google search. It's about a playstation 3 sale on Nov. 24th and mentions the saturday sales. Those of you who remember the secret $99 HD DVD sale at Wal-Mart may be interested in the "sequel": a Sony PlayStation 3 game console with ten Blu-ray movies, for $499. The model being sold is the 80-Gbyte version, which costs about $499 or a little more just by itself. Tacking on ten additional Blu-ray movies, which can cost $20 or so apiece, is a heck of a deal. Of course, what this means is a riposte of sorts from the Blu-ray camp, which Sony leads. To me, there's a world of difference between a $99 (or $199 or $299) HD DVD player and a $499 game console, no matter how many freebies are thrown in. The sale will begin on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 8 AM, according to the secret Wal-Mart Web site advertising the deal. (It's an official Wal-Mart site; click on the Saturday specials link to view the offer.) Other deals will be announced as that date nears, as well as "Black Friday" sales. -
Portable DVD Players
peppysfireball replied to bfaddict1977's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Be careful, 3 years ago I bought the Polaroid 10 inch portable theater systems with wireless headphones. They had been reduced from 175 on bf to 75.00. I bought one for my vehicle and 2 for my sons. THe screen flips down to insert the dvd. My son's had to be replaced at least 4 times and mine has been sent in to the company once . The latches vibrate when you drive and the plastic breaks away. Mine broke again and I cut up metal barrettes and epoxied them to the plastic surface to give the metal hooks somewhere stable to hook. Now my son says the power cord isnt' working unless you hold on to it. I would like to replace them with something better quality. He's carrying his 50.00 portable he bought last year and holding it on his lap. -
I have sewn professionally for 12 years. I buy nothing but Janome. You can't get the others worked on ,. My sewing machine dealer says they have plastic guts. My first machine was a 200.00 Janome. I now have the Janome Professional, but for a starting machine they are great. You buy cheaper and you will get into problems with tension. I have automatic tension on mine.

I tried to clik edit to add some info, but was taking forever. I go on ebay and buy free dose coupons, usually about 3.00. For 15.00 early spring I bought enough free dose coupons to last me all yer. I paid 5.00 for 12 coupons from one seller. -

You would be much better off to buy the xlarge dosage. My vet gives a syringe and bottle to everyone with the dosages marked for each size dog and cats. You can get up to 5 small doses from one xlarge dose and 8 cat doses. It is all the same ingredient and it is worthless to buy the small doses. My vet charges 14 apiece for the xlarge ones. For 14.00 I can treat all 6 of my pets.
