  1. They often have their cat trees half off - I usually need a new one of those every few years with my kitties' talons. lol And yes, line is slow. Those stores really aren't designed well to handle a crowd like what shows up on BF. Only a few checkout lines. I just had a new one open up across the street from me (yes literally), so I'll be curious to see how they handle it. I should mention the expected kitty litter run to them - not sure if the employees came in from other PS stores or are new hires who may not know about us crazy litter buyers.
  2. Since my dad killed vanilla for us when we were younger (air freshener + bathroom = 'nuff said), anything pepperminty, also enjoy the Balsam Pine (I think that's what it's called) from B&BW.
  3. Both. My cat litter from PetSmart would be a pretty big burden on my poor delivery guys in the quantities I typically buy. lol (Plus Meijer may have the better deal and I can't really shop online with them.) Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  4. Still totally worth the money for sure! Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  5. I caught that the Big One throws went up a buck this year. Now $8.99...
  6. In 6 years, the opening time shifted 12 hours. Crazy.
  7. I think Meijer might have one year but yeah, outside of a pet supply store, that's a rare thing.
  8. Those sugar cookies are gorgeous, Bopeep. I wish I had the patience to make them that pretty. I usually just make bowls of different colored icing and use a trusty butter knife to spread some on the cookies. Nothing special like yours.
  9. Hmmm... Favorite? Given the *piles* of cookies I make for Christmas, it's hard to choose a favorite. But... I make these, with one tweak for Christmas. https://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/fiesta-fudge-cookies/6889925a-e218-445e-b73b-b597f38802a7#! Instead of regular "Hugs", I swap in the Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses. I've gone to calling them my Candy Cane Kiss cookies. They turn out pretty with the red and white striping on top (and they always disappear pretty quickly!).
  10. I did a quick look and Microsoft actually has a spot on their site where they talk about backwards compatibility: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility Admittedly, I am not an X Boxer, so my knowledge is quite limited, but I'm sure there are some others here who either are gamers themselves or who have gamer kids. Those folks would likely know more than I would.
  11. Congrats to the Astros! So great for the Houston area to have something to celebrate after all that you folks have had to deal with. Also, this Tigers fan was glad to see Verlander finally get his ring.
  12. And I am familiar with all those areas. I travel to Shelby Twp once a month for a "board game" day with friends.
  13. I will apparently be hanging around the homestead (Ann Arbor, MI) area, as my dad says he'd like to come my way this year for Thanksgiving instead of me traveling to him up in Tawas area.
  14. Yeah I keep looking at that one... I'm curious to see what BB/Target/Walmart will come up with as far as TV's in the 50-55" range.
  15. Likewise.
  16. *Batteries Not Included The Green Mile (of savings? lol)
  17. If you need a good couch blanket, pick one up and use it as a trial. Might be amazed how many more you want once you've got one. They're kind of addicting. lol
  18. Yeah... Apartment... Counter space? Ha. I use my dining room table as it is now. No space to store such a cart, especially with my year's worth of kitty litter! lol ETA: That would be a great idea if I did have more space, though. Who knows? That idea might help someone else here in the forums!
  19. I totally forgot the batteries at HD - Absolutely pick those up every year. My camera eats them like candy sometimes. Ha! And MariahA - I didn't understand till I grabbed one of those throws myself. They're big, very soft, and toasty warm. I use them on my twin bed and they fit just about perfectly. I keep a couple on my couch - one for me, one for the felines. I was amazed at how nice they are. So now I've bought some for me, some as gifts, and I fully expect at least one or two will make it into my online cart again this year. Worth the money.
  20. Almost looks like they're trying to copy Kohl's a bit. (Specifically, the pillows & throws.) I'll just take the Kohl's cash instead, thanks. And yeah, not a fan of the mail-in rebates.
  21. Only thing they have that was on my list is the cheap pillows. Not buying $50 worth of pillows. lol I'll wait till the actual BF sale goes live.
  22. The $2.99 pillows, at least one of those "The Big One" blankets, and wire cooling racks (yes really). I do a ton of baking 4-5 times a year (think well over 100 dozen cookies) and I'm still trying to figure out just how many more cooling racks I need to maintain my rhythm. Bought a set each year for the past couple, buying another set this year for sure. Also, cat litter. Lots of cat litter. I try to get a full year's worth.
  23. Me, myself, and I. Some years, I'd kill to have at least one more pair of hands with me but I deal.
  24. It's all good. Nothing wrong with falling in that category - as you can see from our profiles, jaymacfla and I have been around this place a while. I just wanted to give him some grief. Vizio: Difference between E/M/P - think Economy/Mid-range/Premium (roughly) and that will explain the price differential. The P-series is Vizio's top of the line stuff, while the E series is their "budget" end, leaving the M series roughly in the middle. The E series is still pretty decent for most things. If your hubby and kids are gamers, our trusted sources over at rtings.com give the E-series set an 8/10 for gaming. Here's what they say in their conclusions with regard to gaming: Overall video gaming "The Vizio E series 2017 does great as a gaming TV. There's very little trail behind moving objects, and input lag is low enough for casual gamers." HDR Gaming: "The Vizio E does well with HDR games. The performance doesn't suffer while displaying HDR which is good. Unfortunately, though, the actual HDR capabilities are quite limited." If your guys want to dig into the nitty gritty details (and they haven't already discovered the Rtings site), you can send them here: http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/vizio/e-series-2017 Happy shopping!
