Batteries for the win. 60 for $9.97, either AA or AAA is a good deal.
-
I'll put mine up when I get back from my dad's place after Thanksgiving. Small (~4') artificial.
-
LOL Yep pretty much...

Mine is the predecessor to this one: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/nikon-coolpix-b500-16-0-megapixel-digital-camera-plum/4997300.p?skuId=4997300 To be honest, I chose it over the Lumix because I was tired of dealing with rechargeable somewhat-custom batteries. The Nikon uses normal AA batteries. So you can use rechargeables, but you can also pick up extra batteries anywhere easily if your rechargeables run dry. That issue aside (I freely admit personal preference there), I've heard VERY good things about the Lumix line as well with regards to picture quality.

Tinkrbel is spot on here. She could be left without a camera in some places that she might like to have one if she goes full DSLR. And... Not to hijack the thread but... I bought myself a new Nikon not-quite-DSLR last year from BB, Tink. Its lens doesn't detach (but does have long zoom), so I am able to take it everywhere you mention. It has a case size similar to a DSLR, which should help you hold on to it. Takes some pretty great pictures for a non-DSLR. Mine wasn't even "top of the line" - I had a budget I needed to stay within, so you could likely do even better than I did as far as pic quality if you want.

If you don't actually *need* the TV now, you might be better off waiting until after CES in January. Kind of like grabbing the outgoing model year on a car as the new model year hits the dealers. That said, there appear to be some great deals out there right now (I know, I'm looking too) and, with the short time between BF and Cyber Monday, Len's right. You can always return an unopened BF item if you see a better deal on CM.

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing... I know I love my Foreman grill and this seems like another great gadget for when I want some relatively hands-off easier cooking. Living by myself, I don't often want to go through the production of cooking from scratch, even though I know I should. Too often fall back on take out stuff that, while tasty, can't be all that awesome for my long term health. lol

Hot item: Nintendo NES Classic - anyone order one today?
wittenlover replied to Brad's topic in 2016
Our first home game console my parents bought was a Commodore Vic 20 (remember those???). Great times playing video games with my mom AND learning basic programming skills. :-) The first one we really piled up the game for was the Atari 2600, though. And then brother got NES. And then Mom and I had EPIC Tetris battles after he went to bed. lol Memories! -
$3 lotions is a really good deal if you're looking for lotions. BF deal typically is B3G3, plus you can stack coupons on top of that deal (you usually can't), as I recall. One of very few days (if not the only one) all year you can do that. But then there's this from a commenter on their FB page: "You can use the coupon $10 off $30 plus a free signature lotion with the purchase to get 11 lotions for less than $2 each plus tax". So... If you have the $10 off 30 coupon and the coupon for the free item and you need a ton of lotions for gifts (or yourself), today's your day.

@MariahA I grabbed the PDF version and could read the following after zooming in a bit: Under Disney Animals - Disney Frozen, Disney Villains, Star Wars, Disney Princess (I think? That one was really blurry), and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland Under Marvel Heroes and Villains - Can't read the top one, God's Love, Nature, Creative Calm, and The Jungle Book
-
@premiumchip - Yep. Online sale starts late Sunday night/early Monday morning, depending on the time zone. I want to say it starts at midnight CT. (Anybody else able to confirm?)
-
Not sure about Saturday, but they have $2.95 Wallflower refills today. Got the email on it last night.
-
It's usually buy 3, get 3 free plus you can use coupons on top of it (normally you can't). Sign up for their email list to get coupons. The gels and lotions vary a bit in price, but they're usually around $12-13 a piece.

Now that a lot of the big ads are out, I'm considering upgrading to a 50" TV... That said, I'm liking what I'm seeing on the Samsung 50" 4K TV in the Best Buy ad. Anybody have this model (or one in the series, maybe different size) that likes to watch sports? I'm curious because, being an avid NASCAR and football fan, I want one that can handle the fast action of the race and the action on the field. My current TV is kind of sub-par in that department. Worthy of note: - I have a TV stand that sits in a corner (designed for corner usage) and the pedestal base on this Samsung is just small enough to fit without me having to buy a new stand, something I'd rather not do right now. - Wall mount is not an option for me because of where the TV will be located. - Not opposed to DIY'ing a mount onto the back of the corner stand (the stand is a combo of solid wood and glass), if that's something within the realm of possibility. (Just would need guidance on where to look for DIY instructions for such a project.) Also, if you think one of the other TVs on offer would be better for this, I'm open to suggestion. I could go as large as a 55" in the corner where the TV will be without overwhelming the space.

Knew we'd see this one here on the site soon! Thanks, Brad!

Meijer - Shouldn't we be expecting this ad real soon?

Since they're rolling out, I'd imagine Brad will have the scans and such up soon. Should make it easier for anyone looking at them on their phones. -

Guessing they may be rolling them out across the site, since Kanyon didn't see it yet when he tried. I just refreshed the weekly ad page I had open (I was looking at this weekend's 2-day sale) and they popped up as "additional" ads I could look at. -

Let's see if this link will work for you. I just clicked on Black Friday ad from my weekly ads page and copied/pasted the link that popped up into bitly. Try this: http://bit.ly/2fULmeS -

Yeah I'm hoping it comes out soon! I have lots of baking supplies to buy, so I'm hoping they won't let me down on their annual baking supply sale. Need lots of flour, sugar, butter, cookie mixes of varied flavors, lots of chocolate chips, etc. lol -
Just a couple things for me here, but seeing as it's the only "big" store that is a few minutes from where I'll be (everything else is 45 mins - 1 hr away), Dad and I may go check it out Thursday evening. Because he's in such a small town, it gets a bit crowded but not nearly as bad as the stores in larger areas.
-
Liking that they have that 50" Samsung 4k for $397.99 - as I recall, that one's been reviewing decently for what I'd be using it for. Thankful it's not a doorbuster, so maybe I can snag it online. Trying to avoid the need to buy a new TV stand, so the pedestal base is also a big plus, as it will (just barely) fit on my current stand. ETA: Seeing some other things, too. Could be one of my "go to" places on Friday if I can't grab it all online ahead of time. Somewhat on topic: Anyone ever modified a corner TV stand (or know where I could look for DIY direction) to support a mount-style apparatus (would open up my options, TV-wise)?

Hoping to see Best Buy match/come close to Target's deals on TV's - I have the BB card, so would love to stack up some serious reward points. (I've been looking at 50" 4K models.) Otherwise, not much I want/need from Target.

Hatchimals - Might they be one of Walmart's guaranteed items on Black Friday?
wittenlover replied to stacya's topic in 2016
That's a great idea, Kanyon. If I had the spare money in the budget to front right now, I'd do the same, just to give folks a hand. -
Thankfully, I've always had it off. But I think if I didn't I would totally be one who shops first and then heads into work. Priorities and all...
