Our's still does the extra percentage off. It was at an additional 33% forever it seemed. Glad to see it may of moved up to 50%- I'll wait another week or so and see if it starts to move higher. I always wait for the extra 70% off-- there is nothing I need-- so it doesn't hurt to wait.

I was at Walmart last night- our's was suprisingly empty. I know last year we still got a bunch of stuff around January 1st. Doesn't look like that is going to happen this year.

Our local Targets had the Christmas Tree's 75% off already on this past Friday 12/23 when I was there. Along w/ all Christmas lights being 30% off. -
Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2005-06
leefamily23 replied to Gator Pam's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I was at Target today. I needed a few more gift bags. They had all the Christmas Tree's 75% off. The lights were 30% off, all other Christmas items were regular price. Not holiday related, but they had these plus size spring/fall lined swing style coats. I liked them when they first came out, but they were $39.98. They had light tan, red, and navy. Today I found them on the clearance for $9.98. I was very happy. -
Need help, possible Walmart price match???
leefamily23 replied to katiesmommy01's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Wait though, won't she have to go buy another one, return it, then rebuy it for the price difference?? All because the one she has is opened, and I'm assuming w/ no box. This makes no sense unless you actually need another one. Does WM price match another ad to a previous purchase w/o the item in hand based only on a receipt? -
I haven't been to mine since BF. My sister and BIL did Christmas shopping this past Saturday. She hit 2 Wm's one in middle of the afternoon and one about 7pm. She said both were quiet as a mouse, and the weather wasn't too bad here that day either. Kind of weird w/ only 3 Saturday's left, WM would usually be a mad house, yet it was weirdly empty she said.

My sister and I had no problem PM'ing on BF. Both blitz and non-blitz items. I got 4 out of the 6 items I wanted. She got 7 out of the 9 she wanted. So, we were happy w/ that. Now Sear's wouldn't PM a blitz item from CC for me (A PS2 game).

Since so many who work in retail think because their job is so awful that day they deserve it.......well we all have nightmarish situations at work....what do I deserve????

We almost went to Grove City-- glad I didn't from what I'm reading. We decided back a few weeks ago to hit it up over Veteran's Day instead and stick w/ all the department stores today.
-
Target gave us a substitute on an item today too- we didn't ask but the manager offered, and we accepted.

I'm home to balance the checkbook, shower, lay down for 2 hrs, and of course check in here. Then it's back off since the mall is open until 11pm. I know Penny's and Macy's have some coupons for later on, gonna see what is left at Old Navy (went once early today but the lines were long and didn't look like I was gonna be impressed). Also, going back to the Disney Store. They have 25% off holiday items are a regular sale- I know they had the extra 20% off this morning- but the line was over 1 hr long. I have a 15% off coupon I can use-- so I figure I'll save the hour and go back this evening.

Nothing big, and nothing I just had to have. I wanted to PM a few dvd's and PS2 games from Circuit City at Walmart- ironically the one's from the other stores were in stock but not 1 single CC item to PM was in stock at Walmart. Also, wanted the Simon game at TRU- that was all out. Like I said though not a big deal on that either. Also, kind of wanted the Magic Bullet at Khol's and that was out too.
-
Ours had some "local only" items. Nothing to jump over- most were only $4-8 cheaper than the original price.
-
I didn't hear if things were in or out of stock.

I got up about 45 minutes ago after tossing and turning all night. It was brutal trying to sleep. I think I got maybe a combined total of 40-50 minutes. Of course, I'm bright eyed and ready to go. Now, if this were me having to get up for work-- I'd be tired and out of sorts right now. I'm leaving in 10 minutes to get my sister then off to the Disney Store (4am opening) then Walmart. We're taking an afternoon break, for 2-3 hrs before heading to the other side of the county this evening. So, I guess I'll nap then.

Funny, my sister and I have a whole list of things for Walmart-- pretty much all but the doodle monster and psp are price matches to other places.
-
The last 2 years it has been the whole store on sale on top of any current running sales. Also, ours opened at 4am last year too. They have a really cute sweater for my dog for Christmas w/ Mickey on it- I'd like to get that.

Not getting the Walmart ad is one of my biggest complaints. I know my MIL got her's yesterday-- she lives 1.5 miles up the road from me. I have to call my mom and sister, they always get them in the mail too. Funny thing is I'm only about 10 miles to a Walmart, and we get no ad's. My mom and sister are 20-25 miles and they get an ad. Makes no sense.

If I have a lot to PM I usually try to find that teen/young boy's line (I have one myself so I'm not type casting) they just seem to care a little less about it. The older women seem to be the one's to give me the most heck about it. Also, in my past exp. (thankfully) the cashiers at our Walmart seem so swamped on BF first thing in the morning, they tend to be alittle more careless about it. Now, we aren't PM computers and TV's though. Usually DVD's and some toy's, so maybe that makes a difference.
-
Our's usually has enough toy's for us to get what we are after. We are usually there about 10 minutes after opening (just long enough to not get trampled). The only toy on my list this year from there is the Doodle Monster. Then a PSP and MIL(that I don't even like) called tonight and asked if I could get her a portable DVD player on sale??? We'll see about that one.

I was at EB Games the other day. Used they are $152 but that only comes w/ a 30 day warranty. If you go for the 1 year warranty it's another $19.99. I'm hoping to get this BF-- I'm kind of hoping since the price is nice but not that great (last week it was $199.99 at Target w/ an instant $20.00 gift card so really it was like $179.99) that the Walmart's will still have them. It's my first stop but last year they went through those GBA's like water.

What am I missing here??? Doesn't seem like that great of a sale.

Tops Grocery Stores liquidating - NE Ohio
leefamily23 replied to cass71's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Christmasangel- many of the Tops in this area will be closing-- it's been in the news last week. There is a chance a few more could become Martin's (the 2 closest to me already have- Derby & Fredonia). My uncle-in-law is a tops warehouse driver, we were just talking about this last weekend, he said they were told it's inevitable unless a deal comes through. -
Now see I didn't think anything was such a good deal that it's going to draw all the people to Walmart first. Unless a late entry flyer has some amazing buy's I'm thinking the crowds, around here anyway, will be more spread out. Our Mall, Target, Walmart, TRU, CC, and Best Buy are all in the same 1 mile radius. This will be our first BF w/ a BB, the crowds are usually all at Walmart and TRU, but w/ this ad I just don't see the same high #'s at Walmart.

My son already has Madden 2007. He only has 2 game son his list--- Guitar Hero 2. We LOVE GH1. Which I think I'm picking up today since it's not going to be on sale. Also, Cabela's Safari Hunts or something like that-- I have to look at it and see what the exact title is.
