Our Walmart mails theirs early next week. It never comes in the paper here. Then 1/2 the ads will be in our Wednesday paper and the other 1/2 on Thursday.

Now see, we went to our local Old Navy last year and walked out within 2 minutes. We didn't see anything that wasn't a typical sale. Other than a free mini candy cane- it seemed like any old day there. The parking lot was empty to boot.

Pretty much every year I go BF shopping at the crack of dawn w/ my sister. Then I'm usually home by early afternoon. I then usually venture back out in the evening w/ my husband. Usually we save most of our holiday spending money up for that weekend. We are they type that would spend it if we don't use it for what it's meant for. So, we try to do a lot of our shopping that day. Anyhow, does anyone else go for 2 rounds of shopping that day???

We go to the mall last. Sometimes we hit the anchor stores early for their doorbusters- but we don't go through the whole mall until after all th department stores are done.

I am hoping for: Walmart: GBA if I can get them I'll pick up Cabbage Patch Dolls & Care Bears for charity- but I'm going to the GBA's first. The outerwear vest PJ Pants Sear's: Want to check-out that MP3 Player- I'm looking for a cheaper starter one for my son who doesn't keep track the best of things. Target: Family Guy DVD/Set (Hoping to get raincheck if they're gone) Maybe the Video Game Chair TRU: Lego/Magnetix B1G1 I think- I have to double check this. This is the order I'm hoping to go in too. After I hit TRU'S- I'll backtrack to the mall and see if the clothing stores, Bath and Body, and Disney Store have. May need to add a sidetrip to Fashion Bug first if I find out about any good sales. We did the heavy electronics last year. So, none of those on my list this time around.

I'll find is hard to believe. I'm thinking they meant Battlefront I. We just picked that up last month brand new at EB games for $14.99. So, it would make sense. Now for PS2- I had to go to 3 EB games last week to find a store that had a copy of II availabl. They said as it gets closer to the holidays it's going to get harder to find.

I actually am a heavy thrift store shopper. However, our local one's don't ever have men's jeans in any size close to what he takes. He takes a 34 now and it seem pretty popular.

The XM Roady2 has been $29.99 at CC and Walmart the last week.

This is what my mother wants for Christmas from my dad. I don't think she realizes how much it actually is.

Are jeans usually under $10 at Steve and Barry's?? My husband needs some for work- and they'll get ruined the first time wearing them. So, I don't want to invest money in the work ones too much.

I know they don't put out an ad. However, they usually seem to have a decent sale some years on BF morning. Anyone in the know on what to expect this year?? I don't know if they can do much better than the sale they had this weekend where the whole store was 40% off.

I've gotten rainchecks at Target on BF multiple times. The items have always been back in stock within 2 or 3 weeks too. Figure it's 3rd on my list. So, I'll be doing that w/ the Family Guy DVD's too this year.

I was gonna say that too. I don't remember doorbusters last year either.

I am still fighting w/ accuvue over a $40 rebate for contacts. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to like the way the prescription was written by Sear's. Go Figure. Personally, I hate all the work that goes w/ rebate's. BUT if they're more than $2 or $3 I'll do them.

Is there some compiled list of when stores are opening. I know I read a few switched their times around this year. I don't want to be late.

There is no way you can rely on a stranger to hold a spot for 20 minutes. In all honesty how would your husband even know which spot was yours. I would try to get a stand-in if nothing else.

No adjusting here either. We don't leave our house until around 3-4am anyways. There is no BB or CompUSA in our immediate area. So, they lines at KB, TRU, WALMART, and Target don't seem to start building until about 3-4 anyhow. We actually tend to stay at my mom's until around 10pm. I just get less sleep. I usually come home on BF and go to bed for the afternoon though.

I got a couch one for $39.99 and a matching chair for $19.99. They did have some couch one's for $29.99. Also loveseat ones for $19.99 and $29.99. They are really nice. I love the brand and I'm really excited to have gotten them for this price. I've been watching for a good deal and this was about as good as I was ever going to get.

That would be so much fun!! Only problem for me is DH's direct deposit won't hit until about 4am Friday.

That doesn't seem one bit fair. W/ that method it makes no sense to even get there early then.

We went tonight too, after we got the flyer for tomorrow. They have the surefit sofa, loveseat, and chair slipcovers. Ours had a really great selection. The funny thing was just 2 nights ago I almost bought the Surefit brand ones for triple what I just ended up paying tonight at Big Lots. I am a very happy camper!!

If you get in good w/ your doctors office you could get a medical excuse. Then they really couldn't fire you. There would lots of labor law issues to jump through over 1 day w/ a medical excuse missed. They will most likely not be happy w/ you though.

I never get their mailings or ads either. What gets me is they are about 8 miles from my house. My mom and sister live 3 towns further away and they are a solid 35 minutes from them and they both get the sale ads all the time.

What is the thought about that being a rebate item? Then how much are we talking you think? $200, $300, $400 ??

I don't know there's a few things I'm ready to get. I want the GBA @ Walmart. Also, I'd like the MP3 player from Sear's. Then possibly the B1G1 magentix sets from Toys R Us. I need a 13 in TV w/ DVD and I haven't seen one yet on sale BF. So, I guess I'm getting that regular price. I found one at Walmart for $99 everyday. It's mostly the GBA and MP3 I'm most excited for.
