Completely agree. Walked into the wholesale club yesterday and was looking at brisket to smoke was almost $8 a pound. I usually pay around $3 a pound. I laughed and walked away. I don’t need anything enough to be willing to pay over twice the price.

I need it to cool down some before I can head to the cider mill and apple orchard. Need that nip in the air. Having said that hope we get to do hay rides and possibly haunted hay ride this year.

No real budget set. We move into our new place this week so will be buying things for there also.

We are oddly enough going to buy a sofa and a fire pit from them later today.

I predict we will be buying some TV's (hoping for some good prices in the 50"-65" and possibly an 80"+ would love OLED). I also predict many things will be tight on stock.

My wife hasn't seen many of the older movies either. Maybe this year we will make a weekend and watch a bunch of them.

Even being a 3 day weekend it was too short. Did some work today in order to get ready for a project tomorrow. Then went to IKEA to look for a bed for our daughter and some other things.

Crazy that we are already nearing the end of the year. Seems like it was just a short time ago that we were starting this year out and wrapping up the previous odd holiday season.
