Each week we serve over 260 million guests all with only 2 registers open

We collect things that are either home made or at least look it. We have some for specials events in our lives and things of that nature. We have multiple trees that go up so we will keep collecting stuff.

I lived there for 17 years and we will be buying a 2nd home there again so thats why I said it lol

I was there last Friday It's an awesome place, I could spend a fortune there. You can rush through or you can take an entire day looking at everything. Don't just look at the stuff for sale make sure you look up at the ceilings where they have everything decorated. I honestly wonder how many Christmas trees they have in there. After that it was off to Frankenmuth for a chicken dinner.

I have been at it a long time. Been going with my grandmother since the 80's I think it is.

Congrats everyone

If it involves insanity it most likely happens in FL

They have stores here but to be honest have never been in one. Some of my friends swear by them but the couple of times I have looked at like hiking boots and stuff their prices were always higher than Dicks or Amazon.

Who is ready to decorate? When will you start decorating?

I'm actually working on a new lighting controller made from a raspberry pi. I hope to have it completed in the next couple of weeks. We will start our decorating BF weekend. Hope to be able to have that ready and working and set everything else up. -
We don't really have a budget, we determine about what we want to spend on everyone and use that as a guide. Sometimes it comes out less sometimes it's more.

Very funny

So it is funny, we ended up and went and bought the K550 this past weekend. Our old one had been in use for a long time but since the move we had not used it, went to use it this last weekend and just decided it wasn't worth going completely through it and giving it a thorough cleaning plus replacing the filter in it. As for the 2.0 having the protection on it there is an easy defeat and actually there is a company out there that will send you an easily installed clip to defeat it for free. Most of the stuff we use are all legit K Cups anyway so it's not a big deal. So far the new one has been great, it holds more water has more brew settings and has the larger carafe for days when we need more than 1-2 cups. Now I sure as heck didn't pay $95 and would LOVE to find that deal I would return this one in a heartbeat for that savings lol. As Len said it's not for everyone but once you get used to it the things are great.

One of mine was about getting a hidden treasure. One year we wanted a specific camera from Best Buy (Point and Shoot Canon) for my mother in-law. So we are there in plenty of time and all that, we go to get the camera and it's not anywhere to be found, we asked an employee and someone looked it up and said they show it in stock but many people had not checked out yet. So we were bummed but went on to finish our shopping. I was wandering around the store and decided to look at the over the stove microwaves for some reason while my wife was gathering some other things. I have NO idea why but I started opening them op and looking at the inside just to see how big they were. So I get to one I open it up and there is a camera sitting in there. Not only A camera but the one we wanted. I was like WHOA looked around and said SCORE. My guess is someone stuffed it there for later. I found my wife and told her so we decided to go on a treasure hunt to find other hidden things. Walked out of there with other things some we wanted and some we didn't really think about but got them due to our treasure hunt. lol was pretty neat now I ALWAYS treat our shopping like a treasure hunt.

You got it Mine: No offense, aren't you too old to be afraid?

When I was younger I used to make a lot of pottery houses, trees, churches and such. Would buy them in just plain white and apply the paints and sealers. My family still has the ones I did for them.

We have had a Keurig for some time. We have been thinking about getting one of the 2.0 ones but haven't done so yet. As for the Mini we borrowed one while ours was packed away for the move and it worked but was kind of a pain to have to put water in it each time you used it. We like ours and use it a lot. We have a K Cup but my wife prefers the multitude of coffees out there so it doesn't get much use.

We go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast every year. It's a little more out of our way here than where we lived/shopped in FL but it's a good tradition we will keep up

Probably in the Shelby Twp. MI are for most everything we need.

You also get what you want Seems like a good bonus to me.

This was suggested by Megara211 so I figured I would kick it off. Have a few games going at once. You will post the lyrics to a song (keep it to as few as possible 4-6), the person who correctly guesses the song title then takes a turn and does the same thing. Sort of like the internet version of Name That Tune. lol Song Lyrics: It's just too close to Christmas
