  3. I never thought about ingredients being hard to get. Now you've got me thinking too!
  4. Try to stay at $300 for each kid and $200 for hubby. It never works.
  5. Need jeans and a comforter, plus free shipping would be great too!
  6. Usually hid in our bedroom closet. Last year was the first year that I wrapped them and left them out in the basement. My kids are 22 & 23 so they know enough that if they peek it just ruins it for them on Christmas. Of course, they give me their lists and I shop from those so there aren't that many surprises anyway. I have more trouble hiding from the husband his gift. He doesn't snoop but he usually gets something bigger (some kind of tool) so that is harder to hide and sometimes it's just because I can barely lift it.

  8. That's a bummer
  9. Was at Menards this weekend and saw all their Christmas stuff was out. I did good and stayed away from it, but now I want to decorate for Christmas so badly. I've been listening to Christmas music off and on for a week or so now and I am ready to jump into the season. Hubby does not feel the same way
  10. This link is only showing Hallmark Christmas movies right now, but will include most stations by November. I used to print it out so I could have it handy at any time so I could see what was on at that time. I even highlighted some https://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2014/09/christmas-movie-tv-schedule-hallmark-up.html?m=1
  11. I mail out a lot of priority mail packages and have always been told that they are insured for $50. Would I have to still put more insurance on them? TIA
  12. I went to Hobby Lobby last week and it took everything I had to not race home and start decorating the house for Christmas
  13. That's exactly what I'm hoping for too! In the past I have gotten great deals on QVC for them but hoping that Amazon pulls out the stops on their deals this year.
  14. The anticipation of 'Will I get that hot item at the designated time?'.
  15. I wish all the stores would do a 'Black Friday' on October 1st just to jump start things. Shipping is going to be the bane of my existence this season I'm afraid.
  16. I have never been a BF Walmart shopper either in-store or online but this year am wanting 2 DVD's. Do I have any chance of getting them at 10 PM on Wednesday night when I can order online? TIA
  17. My daughter stocked up last year and still has 2 left. It is worth going to Meijer on Thanksgiving just for that deal!
  18. YAY!! Thank you so much!
  19. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BW148S2/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This is a must for my DS this Christmas. Last year I got him a 12lb. weighted blanket, but he says that it feels light to him now and wants something heavier.
  20. Answer: I Want a Hippopotamaus for Christmas Song Lyric: Out of all the reindeers you know you're the mastermind
  21. A couple of years ago I went into the hospital on Oct. 31 with pancreatitis. I was there for 8 days, the 1st couple they would not let me leave my room, for fear of me getting another bug from someone there so that left me staring at 4 walls. Thank goodness Hallmark started showing Christmas movies on Nov. 1 or I know I would have gone crazy. I thought I had probably seen them all but surprise, I hadn't seen a 1/3 of them so it was a treat for me for sure.
  22. This is great! I have been a part of GD for years but have never been involved in anything to win prizes. This makes the the holidays even more fun!! I have been missing out
