I know this isn't a 'gift', but every year Meijer has ran a great deal on 2 liters of pop. We have always bought a bunch for all those Christmas parties and New Years Eve. That is usually what I would take to parties too. I also would buy their flour and sugar and really stock up on them for all my winter baking.

I never thought about ingredients being hard to get. Now you've got me thinking too!

Usually hid in our bedroom closet. Last year was the first year that I wrapped them and left them out in the basement. My kids are 22 & 23 so they know enough that if they peek it just ruins it for them on Christmas. Of course, they give me their lists and I shop from those so there aren't that many surprises anyway. I have more trouble hiding from the husband his gift. He doesn't snoop but he usually gets something bigger (some kind of tool) so that is harder to hide and sometimes it's just because I can barely lift it.

Was at Menards this weekend and saw all their Christmas stuff was out. I did good and stayed away from it, but now I want to decorate for Christmas so badly. I've been listening to Christmas music off and on for a week or so now and I am ready to jump into the season. Hubby does not feel the same way
