We went to two different Wal-Marts and they each had lots of them. I also was able to get the TV Guide magazine from a great GD thread and my magazine did not have them in it so I called them and their recording said to call this other non-800 # so I spoke to someone in customer service and told her that I did not think I should have to pay for a out-of-state call for something that was supposed to be in the magazine. She totally agreed and said that she would extend my subscription for the inconvenience, that was great! My DD watched the movie with her glasses but said that it wasn't great with them so maybe they weren't really necessary.

The store in Mt.Pleasant was 90% off today. They still had trees, lots of wreaths, some outdoor things, cards, ornaments, wrapping paper and gift bags. They even had the storage tubs on clearance too, just not 90%!!

We got one in Sept. but had my parents give it to our family yesterday for a family gift. Wasn't something the kids had been asking for but they haven't quit playing it yet either! We then had Santa bring the WII Play, the Remote charger and an extra nunchuk. Then my DS10 received from Santa the WII Zapper, which he loves. I did the boxing against my DD9 and that is quite a workout. Who needs a gym membership! We are all enjoying it and plan on renting some games during break so we can see which ones we really want to purchase. Does anyone have the web address where I can order the remote sleeves? I remember seeing it before but have been unable to find it. TIA! Merry WII Christmas!

My DH and I were at Walmart this afternoon and they have a 27 inch IVO tv for $189.00. We are looking for a bigger tv for our family/play room in our basement. This one will replace the 19 inch we have now. We have never heard of this brand so we weren't sure if it was a good deal or not. The walmart employee said that he hadn't heard anything bad about them and have sold quite a few of them and have had no complaints but...., you never know. Anyone know anything about this brand? TIA!

Do I need to get the remote charger? The guy at GameStop told me that if we had more than 4 remotes than we would probably want a charger, that way 2 are always charged. He did say that they don't eat through batteries so if we didn't mind having batteries on hand than it wasn't a big deal either way. I want to be prepared at Christmas and so far we have 2 remotes. Also, will Wii accessories go on sale before Christmas? TIA!

My parents have gotten my family a Wii for Christmas. From reading the Wii threads I understand that I need extra remotes, nunchuks, etc.. What I need to know is what comes with the Wii game system? Do you get 1 remote, 1 nunchuk? I am thinking of buying the Wii Play for our kids for Christmas and I understand that a remote comes with that. I have been checking out the gamestop website and I can't find anything that shows nunchuks in anything but a pkg. of 1. I was hoping that I could find pkgs. of 2 or even a pkg. of 1 remote, 1 nunchuk. I have seen the pkg. of 3 at Sam's Club but in reading the threads that doesn't seem to be that great of a deal since the one remote you don't use much. I really want to get this stuff bought now since it seems that Wii stuff goes fast and if they can't keep up with demand can they on the extras?! TIA!

My DS put this on his list too! What are they? I did not get a kmart ad this week to look them up and I haven't seen an ad on tv yet either. If they are on sale I would get one if I knew what the heck they were! TIA!

My DS10 and DD9 are getting one for xmas and was wondering about the Mario8 game. I have heard that it is kinda young and my kids won't like it for long. It was one that I had planned on getting for them but if it's not going to last with them why bother. Is this true or not? Any other game suggestions? TIA

Can anyone help me find a cheap site that sells magazine subscriptions? I am trying to get my DD a subscription to American Girl for xmas and on Bestdealmagaines.com they have it for $18 something which I think is a lot for only 6 issues a year. I tried searching for some sites but didn't see any that I thought weren't spam related. TIA!

They can look your CC up. I just had an experience with them about an item I purchased before Christmas and of course I threw away the receipt awhile ago but they told me that if I purchased it with my CC they could look it up. Of course, I hadn't used my card but had written a check and I had to go back through my checkbook and get my check #'s for the month that I purchased it and the ones that I wrote at WM and they were able to look up my check # and give me my $ back too! They are really good about returns there but this was an item that was put out for Christmas gifts so is was only seasonal and they did not have anymore in the store and wouldn't until September so it was worth the time that I had to spend to give them the info they needed and then I had to wait a couple of days for them to look it up but they called and said they found it and the info would be at the service desk waiting for me. They really do try to give you back your $ or credit your CC instead of giving you a gift card.

I have never heard of the Ty Girlz. Where do you find them? My DD got her first Webkinz in the early part of summer and just loves it, I like that it seems to be a safe site for her to be on. I hoping that these Ty Girlz will be the same way. Thanks for any info you can share with me!

I was at the Meijers today and bought a pair of Eastland shoes reg. price $59.99 and I only paid $10 for them! The sales associate was marking all the clearance shoes down as I was trying them on and she told me that they were marking them all way down to clear them out to make more room for spring/summer shoes. The shoes that I bought had been previously marked down to $29.99 and then they reduced them down to $10, that is an awesome markdown:)

Was at JCP today and they are still offering the 1/2 clearance. I was told that they are marking everything down now with a green sticker and they do not take anything additional off the green sticker. However, I was there on Tuesday and bought 2 pairs of Isotoner gloves that were marked with a green sticker and received an additional 50% of both of them. I paid $1.49 and $2.49, it was great!! Most likely corporate has told them that starting tomorrow the 50% is done.

Yes, they usually double up to a dollar. I remember when they used to triple 4 coupons each trip, I wish they still did that!

Hit JcPenney's this morning and had the 15% coupon from the survey with me too. Bought a Columbia winter jacket reg. $199 for myself and it came to $50.99!! The coupons states that it excludes Columbia among others but it took the 15% off from it!!:) Got my 8 year old daughter 2 pairs of jeans for $5.09 each. Purchased 5 items and saved over $239. Gotta love it!!

I have often wondered about the checks that are avaiable in the coupon inserts. Nice to know that they are that cheap. I am going to my bank tomorrow just to double-check and then I will be placing a new check order somewhere. We have the standard blue (deluxe) and I am sick of them. They are boring! My husband is a huge Detroit Red Wings fan and I have found checks with their logo on them so I'm sure that is what I will be ordering. Thanks for all your input!

Will all banks accept checks from Walmart or anywhere else for that matter? I have found different places to order checks from and my bank has told me that they would not accept them or I would be charged a hefty fee to use them. I have always been stuck using the same old ones because of this. I would love to order from Walmart if they are accepted at my bank. Thanks for the info!

My daughter received one 2 years ago from Santa along with the horse and colt that go with the dolls. They have lots of different items to go with them. The quality is excellent! She can brush and style the hair and it always looks good. I found some American Girl doll clothes at a garage sale and they fit her doll great. I have looked at the American Girl dolls and I cannot justify spending that much money on something that she may only play with for a few years. I think that they are an awesome buy and your daughter will love it!
