This is only valid at certain stores as it is a trial run. My co-worker called corp office this morning about this and that is what she was told.

We take the kids into the toys store and let them explore. I bring a note and pen. If something catches our daughters interest we talk about it with her to if she is really interested in it or was it because so and so has one. Our son is too young so we just take note in what he seems to like. We write down all the things in a note book and later that night we sit down with our daughter and start writing her letter to santa. She also helps me write out her brother letter to Santa. We also always add a few things not on their list

How old is the decor in her bedroom? Could it be in need of some new updating? Maybe a new bedspread or comforter. Matching accessories like lamp, clock, area rug, a small fold up chair or bean bag chair for her room. Jewely box with a new piece of jewerly. Dvd's, cd's. I agree with the others on makeup and bath set. Maybe a nail care kit and some new nail polish in differnt colors.

We are about 25% done. Still on the hunt for some good deals. We will really kick off our shopping in Oct and will hopefully be done by BF weekend.

I think the next ad will be out around the beginning of Oct.

Thanks!!! Was planning on going there this Saturday anyway to get back to school clothes for our daughter and needs mostly jeans so that works out perfect.

I tried using the coupon for that at my local walmart last weekend and they would not accept it. The sad part was they took it the week before. I even went to the customer service desk about it and they would not honor the coupon either.

Since we have little kids toys including the hannah montana stuff and thomas the train, dvds including disney, Wii games and gaming chair for hubby and digital picture frames cheap...cheap...cheap!!!

I am another one who heads out to Kmart on Thanksgiving if for nothing else then tradition. I usually find a gift or 2 while I am there so it's not a wasted trip. One year I skipped going to Kmart and the day just felt off. Haven't skipped since! LOL!

Too Soon??? NEVER!!!! Have already been thinking about Black Friday and I can not wait! I already started planning my shopping and comparison lists.

We went to our local sears lastnight and they did not any of the ones we wanted. there is another Sears a little further away that we may try this weekend. Great job to all those who were lucky enough to grab these deals.

I don't use carts on BF. They just slow me down. I always go shopping with enough people so there are enough arms to carry everything. Nothing like that has happened to me and God help the fool who does try to take something out of my hands. My bestfriend's little sister had an encounter several years ago. She went to WM to get a kids bike and got the last one. As she is walking up to the check out lines with the bike and older lady tried to take it from her. Words and threats flew back and forth. Needless to say my bestfriend's sister left with the bike.

We have a 26 lb turkey. So far there will be 9 of us there for dinner. I am still waiting on answers from a few more people.

Have you tried taking him into a toy store or the toy section of a store and just let him wander through and check out the toys? We do this every fall with our daughter and spend at least an hour so she can check everything out and get a good look at the toys. It gives us a better idea as to what she wants and does not want.

Half the gifts under the tree and the stocking come from Santa. One gift is from their sibling and the rest are from mom and dad.

It does not say that you can't. I plan on using both this Sunday.
