We went to a Sears store in Delaware last week and got our kids new winter coats. Normal price was $95 each and we paid $15 each. Also picked up bath robes and gloves/hat sets for the kids pretty cheap too.

Once in awhile toysrus will have a 25% off sale on the remotes. They had one a few weeks ago that was for 2 days only.

Yup we do stockings. "Santa" fills the kids stockings and I fill hubbys and my mom stockings. Hubby will fill my stocking.

I also noticed that alot of the toys we bought, still need to buy are cheapier at Toys R US. Only a few items were cheapier at Walmart.

Our daughter's school is doing trunk or treat. All the parents who signed up for this meet at the choosen location with your kids (the student AND siblings) dressed in their costumes. You also being enough treats with you for each child there. The school is proving us with the number children that will be there so we know how many treats to bring. All parents will be parking their cars in a large circle or square with the trunks facing inwards. All the kids will go trunk or treating to all the cars. Parents are to supervise that no children leave the enclosed area like trying to slip in between cars. This way all the kids can go trick or treating with their friends in a safe and supervised manner.

The Kitchen Aid mixer for $159.99 is a great deal. We just bought one over the weekend for almost double that price. Too bad I need the mixer now otherwise we would have returned it and waited until BF.

We give our daughters school bus driver a $10 Gift card to local convience store. This way she can stop to get coffee or what ever she wants. I found that some people can't have chocolate or other sweets due to food allergies or diabetes. She is aways grateful for the GC.

LOL! It was an honest mistake. I checked the malls events and they do not have anything posted for November yet. With all the consruction going on at this mall I am not sure if they will hold this event this year.

Are there any games for the wii he wants? What about a video gamer chair? DVD? Ipod or mp3 player? Board games - there are great scene it one out there.

That was last year. I don't think they have posted anything yet for this year. The mall is currently under alot of construction.

I just called the 2 different Toys R us stores near me and both stated that the big toy book sales starts Oct 26th.

We are about 40% done christmas shopping and have already bought some new ornaments and out door decorations.

We go shopping every year regardless of their sale. We didn't go a few years ago and the rest of the day just felt off. So it has become tradition to go.

It depends on the sales, what we need to get and how much money we have. Some years we are done by lunch time and other years we do not finish until dinner time.

Our daughter (7 y.o.)wants: Hannah Montana Concert Stage and dolls Littlest petshop toys CD's - hannah montana and jonas brothers Wii games Our son is only 2 but he loves trains.

We will be spending less and going to as many stores as we had in the past. Going to focus on a few select stores that have most of what we want. I already have a lot of shopping done. Found great deals on gifts through out the year so I will not have to buy as much on BF. Trying to keep spending under budget. I am going to try to order some of the stuff on line instead of driving. Walmart is the only store close by me, others are 25-45 minutes away and in all different directions.

Last year we stopped at TRU. They were the 2nd stop on our list, we walked in, turned around and walked back out. The Check out line was wrapped around the entire lenth of the store inside.

How about some of the larger plastic totes. Not the see through ones and label them with something boring to a child like Old Bill Statements; Tools, Fragile : Dishes, etc and tape the lids shut. You can use the excuse for taping them shut to keep out bugs. Or get a large wooden box with a latch and pad lock and keep them in the garage.

We started hosting Thanksgiving dinner last year. Before that we went to hubby's mom's but she moved out of state last year. So for Thanksgiving it's me, hubby, our 2 kids, my mom and possibly hubby's aunt and cousin and maybe his brother and few others.

During the Big Toy Book sale they do have a coupon that of you spend X amount then you get a free toy, each year the free promotional toy is different. I am not sure if that what you are referring to or not. If it is then the coupon will be released with the book on Oct 26.

The Toys R US Big Toy Book sale always starts the last Sunday in October so this year the sale starts on Oct 26. If you are on their mailing list then you will get the book sometime during the week before otherwise you can get in the newspaper on Sunday Oct 26th. Most stores will not have the book out for the public until the day of the sale however some stores will have it out the day or two before.

I will be going to Walmart first as that is the only store in my area and it looks like I will have to work that day so I will be unable to travel to other stores to go shopping.
