No. I will however give hubby a list of some things that I want. He will pick a few things on my list and then get me a few things that were not on the list. He know what I like and don't like so he is pretty good about it.

Right now all the kids gifts are unwrapped in in totes and bags in the attic. Once they get wrapped, about a week or 2 before Christmas, they will get placed back in totes and then stored in the laundry room under the other totes that hold extra blankets and sesaonal items. The kids do not go into the laundry room so it has worked for us so far.

Our local Walmart have always passed out a map of the store showing where all the door buster items were located in the store. They also pass out tickets for the big electronic items. I can not see them sending customers around to back to the store to pick up electronic as our store is in a shopping center with other stores and that may cause issues. I have shopped at local walmart on BF for over 12 years and never experienced or seen the maddness that alot of other stores encountered. It will interestig to see if our store changes the way it does BF.

It will be in next Sundays paper. Their big toy book sale always starts the last Sunday in October.

If you enjoy listening to it then No it's never to early. I listen to Christmas music all through out the year when the mood strikes me which is maybe once a month. By mid Nov I am listening to it daily.

It will be in the paper on Sunday Oct 25th. For those on the mailing list, they should receive their copy in the mail sometime mid to late next week.

Oh yeah we had that request once too but for a baby sister. I guess a baby brother was not good enough at the time. Sorry not happening!

Walmart, Target, Toys R US, Sears & Kmart are the ads I am waiting for.

So far we are the only couple with more then 1 child in the family. We do not expect other family members to spend alot on our kids and have even suggested joint gifts of books and dvds to help keep their costs down. There are not that many kids in the family so far (4 including our 2) with one on the way. We do not set budgets on what we spend on each other's kids since everyone is under different financial situations and some can not afford to spend much.

We do toys for tots and have the kids help pick out toys for different age groups. We will pick up a toy for a baby, toddler, child and a teen. A few years ago DD asked why we did that since Santa can bring them things. In our house not all the presents come from Santa, only a few and the stocking come from Santa and the rest of the gifts are from mom and dad. Well we explained to her that in some families the mommies and daddies can't buy presents for their kids for various reasons so we are helping those mommies and daddies be able to give presents to their children like we give them presents. So far she has accepted that answer and never questioned that again.

My DD is 8 and so far for her stocking I have gotten several different colors of nail polish and a couple packs of nail art stickers. I plan on picking up for her chapstick, lip gloss, tooth brush, hand lotion, warm soft socks, cd, dvd, candy. DS is 3 so he will get small toys, dvd, candy, warm socks, gloves, toothbrush.

I would LOVE snow! The last time we had measurable snow here on Thanksgiving/BF was 20 years ago before I started shopping on BF

I have not had any real bad experiences with BF in the 14 years I have been shopping BF excpet for last year when I had to work and was only able to go to one store. Always had fun and helped a few people along the way. One year several years ago my SIL and were in Kmart (was later in the morning) as I wanted to get some shirts for hubby. Well there I was lack of sleep, hyped up on Coffee and in a good mood shopping in the mens section when a good song starts playing and what do I do...I started dancing in the isle. This old man walked by and just shook his head while laughing at me. Oh well.... Bring On BF!!!!

Well that SUCKS! You would think that the way the economy is they would want people to see it early so people would have an incentive to start saving more money to spend on BF. Last year the sales were not that impressive, they were ok hopefully this year it will be better. Thanks Brad!

The only thing I can think of that I regret buying is the vacuum stick that walmart was sold 3 or 4 BF's ago. It does a lousy job, not worth the effort or the money. Now it just sits in the closet.

Which is why I avoid that place on BF. I used to go there with my friends late in the afternoon on BF but even that was becoming a headache.
