HDTV card suggestions?
BobbyDouglas replied to BobbyDouglas's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Well the HDTV has the HDMI (i think?) output, so the card I get would need to have that as well, correct? From what I read, the HDMI is just like DVI with audio, right? The "MyHD PCI HDTV Tuner / Decoder Card - QAM - MDP-130" doesn't seem to have anything that the cheaper ones have... The budget for the card is $200-$400. -
HDTV card suggestions?

This one looks pretty sweet: http://www.buy.com/retail/Product.asp?sku=201695364&adid=17662 It lets you rec HDTV as well. Anything else before I go buy it? I'm off to read some reviews. -
Has anyone used a USB Bluetooth hub before? I have a logitech bluetooth keyboard/mouse that I want to use on a laptop, but it needs a usb bluetooth hub first. Pricegrabber doesn't really show anything for this, so I figured I would come here.

A comptuer with an ATI video card (no HDTV outputs), but it has a DVI output. The HDTV is the "Samsung LN-R238W 23" LCD TV" SKU: LNR238W I think it would be cheaper to get a tuner card on its own instead of upgrading the vid card as well. Any suggestions for this?

Muah hahaha. I got it for free from the BB rewards program.I had two $20 credits, and the item was $39.99 + tax. I told the person toring it up as $40, and by doing so I wasn't charged tax. If he didn't ring it up as $39.99, I would of had to buy something else to bring up above $40. This router is awesome too, smaller than I thought it would be!

I have $60 in BB coupons that won't go to use because everything at BB either sucks or is 500% more expensive. I'll check it out over at BB tomorrow. I would prefer something I can buy at the store so I will have it before I leave. Thanks fellas, I will check it out tomorrow.

Looking for a wireless router for b/g. Any suggestions?

Seems like others complained about the shipping taking 9 days, but for $2 per cable, I could care less if it took 10 lol. I'm so freakin lazy.

I'd spend more than $2 to gas. Great find stingygrrl Anyone know what "USPS Mail" means for shipping? I am wondering how long it would take to ship, but plain "Mail" isn't listed http://www.usps.com/consumers/domestic.htm

I am going to think about what else I need, then most likely head over to Best Buy if they are having a sale, I gotta use up some coupons! If they are too expensive I will just head over to Fry's Electronics, or try newegg if I can combine some stuff to save money.

They charge $7 to ship it I found it on newegg for around $7 shipped http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16812116105

'bout time. Damn that was annoying! I almost decided just to add a 2nd bookmark to the forum, but didn't want to clutter my already increasing # of bookmarks (i'm up to like 200 now) It works just perfectly now. One other thing I noticed, is that I stopped getting all the affiliate credit from GD sales, can someone manually send me the monthly check from now on? -

I would take the high CPU than a burner, simply because I do a lot of processing, daily tasks, and time is money. If you are not more than the average laptop user, and would "like" to have a DVD burner, downgrade to the 1.60Ghz and upgrade to a DVD burner. This setup comes with TWO batteries, something VERY good to have, as well as a 2yr support agreement, and lastly 512MB or RAM- meaning you do not need to head over to NewEgg and pickup a 2nd 256MB stick. A great deal for anyone thinking about buying a laptop within a few months.
