I noticed there's no individual ad items listed with prices - is that because we're still a few days out?

Also wondering this. Seems like maybe just a handful of deals on sale, but the actual sale hasn't started.

Central channel and two front speakers were more like 1980s 5.1 started getting popular in the late 90s, which is what I have (a much order model) 7.1 became popular about 5 years ago Soundbars starting being a quality alternative about 3 years ago. It was a the first real "all-in-one" speaker solution that was super simple to plug in and immediately see the difference. You didn't need overpriced receivers or professional installation for quality sound. Sounds bars are still great. I use a very nice wireless Yamaha soundbar in another room. it works great. It's all the same mesh color to me, not looking for the exactly style, but more so the sound quality of a louder speaker. I replaced bookshelf fronts with two primus 363 tower speakers, so the sound definitely has a boom. I feel like I can just tell the central channel is outdated, so I want to upgrade that piece.

No - a soundbar is usually just a single speaker with an optional additional subwoofer. Good for small/medium rooms. I already have upgraded front speakers, so I'm looking for something that matches the sound these fronts are putting out. You're thinking a sound bar. Just make sure the TV and Sound Bar match input/output.

Haven't seen any center speaker deals for BF - nothing out there or am i missing something.. Looking to upgrade an older infinity Primus Center channel speaker. Was the smaller model when that series came out 10 years ago.

Could possibly be that we're all just a little too used to these crazy deals. It's the same, amazing deals, another year in a row. I'll be saving over $1,000 this year.

Heh, I don't make it over to the forums much anywhere these days. I am keeping tabs on GD.com at least once a week though. I'll have to stop by and say hi more often. Bring back the $750 off $1500 laptops Dell!!!!!!!!!! I really sat down and thought about what I wanted this year, between GD and SteepAndCheap.com, I've pretty much bought everything I wanted or even some things I didn't quite want but the deal was just too good to pass up.

What model did you get?

I'm looking for a new 1080p TV somewhere in the 50"-54" range. I don't have a preference between Plasma, LCD, LCoS, DPL, etc.. Best I've found so far is the Calphalon 8 Piece Nonstick Cookware Set for $150 shipped @ Amazon -> http://www.amazon.com/Calphalon-8-Piece-Simply-Nonstick-Cookware/dp/B001R70XIY It has a 10 yr warranty, hard anodized and non-stick surface. If there is ever an issue, I can ship the item back to Calphalon, and they replace it for free. The downside of the hard-anodized ones pointed out earlier, is that it isn't non-stick. Everything you cook needs to constantly be stirred or used butter/oil to prevent sticking. I think I've used one of those before when making sauce, if you don't stir it every minute or so, it bakes onto the edges.

Any info guys? Still can't find something with a solid warranty.

What's the warranty on those? My uncle has some pretty expensive Caphalon ones that the company simply replaces free of charge whenever there is an issue. I don't mind buying in pieces, but I didn't think you could get 8+ pieces for around that price :/

I'm looking for a fairly high-end cookware set for the kitchen. Something that carries a solid warranty, for $150-$200ish. I don't want stainless steel, and I don't want that crappy brand with the grooves everywhere (Circulon). 8pc, 10pc, etc.. doesn't matter. Just looking for something that's going to last for a long time and have a rock solid warranty. I need it by Christmas, so I don't mind waiting a bit
