  1. Thanks man! I guess we will wait until the 15th to purchase it :)
  2. I need a 512MB flash drive for my mom. I can wait another month or so for a really good deal. Is now the time to buy? And is this what I should buy?
  3. $1.65 each > http://www.73.com/a/0707.shtml Not sure if there is a better deal anywhere else.
  4. To weld it onto another piece.
  5. Looking for around 100 Cigarrete Lighter Adapters. I need some without the wires attached, so basically just the piece that goes into the cigarette lighter.
  6. I wouldn't get anything faster than a 3.0 ghz. You won't notice too much of a difference for the extra $ you put down. When doing web design, you will want at least an 80GB hard drive. Also, an integrated graphics card is not good to have. Once you get something that requires a good graphics card, you pretty much have to get an entire new computer. The Dimension 4700 is pretty decent. It has integrated graphics, which I personally wouldn't reccomend. I picked up a computer almost twice as good as that one about 6 months ago. If you can, wait for a better deal.
  7. Stupid Office Depot is 85 miles away!!!!!!!!!
  8. Ok, so http://rebates.teg-online.com/officedepot/Rebate_Print.asp?Item_Key=146443 and http://rebates.teg-online.com/officedepot/Rebate_Print.asp?Item_Key=151245 The one for $200 isn't working.
  9. Links to rebates are wrong.
  10. Looking for two well established computers with a budget of $3000. These will not be gaming computers, but instead they will be performance computers used to run various applications. Fast processor/ram/sata hard drive, as well as a cd-rw is required. It would be nice to also have a floppy drive, all in one drive, dvd or dvd-rw drive as a second drive. Also, two lcd flat panel monitors, either 17 or 19 will do. This does not need to be purchased for another 2 months, but if these deals are good, then they will be purchased now, as apposed to down the road. Do you expect to see better deals in the next few months?
  11. I was thinking about dell, I priced a computer out and it seemed to be pretty expensive. This can wait up to a month, so if more than $100 can be save, a month wait isn't bad.
  12. I have a client looking for a decent desktop computer with a 19" flat panel monitor. They would like something close to: 2.8 Ghz 1GB Ram 120GB SATA Hard Drive 128MB Graphics Card (not integrated) Floppy DVD/CD Writer 19" Flat Panel Monitor They would like to have two of these setups, and can budget $3500.
  13. Seems like others say it is exactly the same: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=27&threadid=1451418&STARTPAGE=1
  14. Do I need to buy a special cable if I want to set these drives up on RAID? If these OEM drives end up being fine to use, then I will just use them. If I need to go buy a RAID cable anyways, I might as well just get the OEM ones anyways.
  15. OEM drives can also be drives that have been handled more. I always thought that OEM drives also fall under the category of ones that would come from a prebuilt system, that might not have been used, but still selll as new. So OEM drives don't fail as often as retail drives?
  16. But an $18 difference, doesn't quite seem worth it. If it was around $80-$100 difference, I would have to go with the OEM. The other ones are just too expensive $220. Hard drives are fragile, and sometimes you get a few that fail. I would rather have a drive that hasn't ever been handled before, and went straight from assembly line (or however they are made), directly to box.
  17. $18 to get one that is new seems worth it. Well, when dealing with a hard drive that will contain data I do not want to lose, OEM is not worth the chance. Retail is better, it isn't just a pretty box.
  18. If anyone knows of a good price for a non OEM drive, let me know!! Close, but not quite :/
  19. Looking for: Western Digital 74GB WD740GDRTL Raptor 8MB Buffer 10000RPM Seems like $199.99 - $30 = $169.99 Outpost is the best price I have come around... If anyone knows of a good price for a non OEM drive, let me know!!
  20. Great service!
  21. That was all I saw, but that isn't a good drive.
  22. I have been looking for an SATA 150 hard drive for awhile. I hoped that BF would bring tons of good deals on them, but it seems like the deals are only for ATA 133s. Has anyone seen a deal on a SATA 150 drive posted anywhere yet?
  23. If you honestly rent movies a lot, Blockbuster is a lot better if you signup for their instore deal. $17.95 for the first month, then $24.95 for each additional month. Up to 3 movies out at a time, but you can watch 3, goto blockbuster, grab 3 more, and repeat. Blockbuster is about 2 minutes from my house, for me, this would be a HOT deal.
  24. Am I the only one who noticed Blockbuster has a "short wait" for a lot of the good movies?
  25. Don't hold your breath. I highly doubt this will be around $500 for a year or so. Maybe Ross can shed some light on it, but I doubt it.
