Wow, looks like someone had a little too much coffee this morning! Ya know Shopper 7 you can put all your questions in one post! But back to the OP, I would still go with the kids even though it won't be the same without your wife there! Edit....ok he just got booted but he had prolly 20 or so nasty posts in here. Glad to see our GD mods are on top of things this morning!

I bought my 7' pre-lit tree last year on Thanksgiving day at K-mart for $99. And it spins with adjustable speeds! I love my tree....the only thing I don't like is my "multi colored" lights are only red, white and green.....I just add a big strand of my own lights to it to add in those other colors.

I'm about 10 min. from any store I want including the mall. I never have to go to far and we have family who live 1 hr away that spend the night with us because all they have is a wal-mart also. I would prolly fall asleep if I had to drive an hour back home.lol

My worst BF was 2 years ago when I worked at Kohl's. It was the first BF I ever had to work and the last BF I will ever work again! I was working a 5am-2pm shift and I rang up customers from 5:01am until 2pm......I did get my breaks but when I left at 2pm the line was still wrapped around the back of the store. My family even made sure to check out in my line which made things worse cuz I wanted to be shopping with all of them! Nothing is better about the holidays than having great memories of time you spend with your family. That was the only year in the last 10 that I didn't get to meet the girls at the mall for the santa pic. I'll never miss it again!

We go with about 15 too. Most of us start at Kohl's because they are the first store to open at 4am. We all meet at the mall for lunch to get our pic taken with santa!

I have gotten about 25 people done already...and wrapped! I got 63 people to buy for this year so I have to start early!

We'll have a "scheduled" BF chat soon where I'll give away some shirts in the chat room. Anyone have a day of the week that works best? Wed. and Sat. for me....those are my days off!

I took DD10 with me last year and she did great! I have to say that she's 5'2 so she dosen't look like a 10yo. She never complained once, she stayed by my side at all times and even saved her own money for things she wanted. She had no problem getting up at 3 am to stand in line at Kohl's.......she was just as excited as us adults were! She loves to shop so I knew she would do great.....but I would never take DS8 or DD7 yet.

I'm in! I was just an elf last year and that was fun......so I signed up for the ornament and card exchange! I can't wait to get started!!!:)

The only thing that would make me happier and make BF better is if I were wearing one of those cool gotta deal shirts to show off to all the folks standing in line at Kohl's, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Old Navy, Kmart, the Mall........and where ever else I might end up!

I didn't get a second job but my work hours went from 15-20 a week to 40! I did this for more than just black friday but I've taken $75 from each check to put away for that day.

The biggest tradition in our family is after everyone is done shopping we all meet at the mall around 11 for lunch and all the girls get a picture taken with santa. Santa loves having his pic taken with 10 grown women. LOL We have been doing this for like 7 years now and it's so much fun!

We went in store today and it was a mess. The jean racks were crazy!!! I still got 2 pair for each of my three kids. 6 pairs of jeans for $44.......not bad at all!

I do, I do....I also hit up kmart on t-day! I go early and ours are always packed.
