Well it was not really broken but when DH and I put together DD's barbie vanity last night almost all the acc. peices like all the little chairs and stuff were missing. Just had to do without and not tell her but I was not happy!

I just finished putting everything away! Whew...hope I got everything:)

wow I fell better then! I went to bed at 1:30 and kids made us get up at 8!

Awwww.... your friends here at gottadeal will be thinking of you though!! I know it's tough cuz my hubby works 10-8 today and 10-7 tommrow. But I do have him early x-mas morning which is prolly the hardest to not have you hubby home. I'm missing my 20yo brother who is overseas very much today so I know what it feels like. Just be happy your all healthy and I'm sure you will have a wonderful x-mas!:)

We just got another 4 inches last night and the temps dropped to the 20's for the next few days so we will have a white christmas on the Mississippi!

Wow thanks for the help! Our Hy-Vee(grocery store)only had $50 or $100 to choose from so I guess I'm off to Wal-mart to check there! Need dog food anyway so won't be a total waste if I can't find them there. This would be so much eaiser if I knew one thing about the people I was buying for. My family lets any joe blow be in the christmas drawing so this year I get to buy for my cousins girlfriend(I didn't even know he had one!LOL) and my other cousins boyfriend who lives out of town and Ive never met! I don't even really talk to these cousins let alone there bf/gf. Well, gotta get er done!! Happy Holidays All!:)

I guess I will have to go out today for the last few gift cards! Gotta hit Lowes, Best buy and the darn mall for Visa gift cards. I hate going to the mall but I can't seem to find any$20 Visa cards anywhere but there. Walgreens smallest is $30 but I've never even met the people I'm giving them to so don't wanna spend that much! Anyone know somewhere where you can add whatever amount you want so I can avoid the mall? *ICK*:yuck:And a half of foot of snow to drag the kids through! I know, I know, I should have this done already!:)

Well, I think that was very rude of her! My 10yo dd knows where her christmas list is and she would never look at it. Why would you want to hurt someones feelings by saying I don't like these gifts you were going to get me so get me this instead!!! Plus she now knows everything shes going to get! I think it's wonderful you took the time to think about your wife and the things she might enjoy! If I were you I'd get her 1 gift card for somewhere and tell her to her own dang shopping.

This is so crazy! If I count my 3 kids,dh,myself and the dog it's 61 people total! That includes all the teachers and the nurse too! Way to many too list:) Thank goodness for amazon toys!

Well, I just asked my dd who will be 10 next week, "If I bought you a Bratz case with make-up in it for x-mas would you like it?" Her response was "Yes...well,I would at least take the make-up out of it!" Then I asked her..Well, do you still like Bratz? She said not really because she's more into High School Musical and that's more what older girls like! This was kinda what I thought so I'm glad I didn't get her any Bratz items but I think all girls are different:)

My brother is also currently in Iraq and I just sent him 2 boxes on Friday filled with homemade goodies. That's all he was asking for! I made sure to send alot because he likes to share with his buddies. He said some of the guys never get anything from anyone:(. Well my brother is spoiled and has all kinds of family and friends sending him goodies so he will share the welth with his friends. I also went to Wal-mart and got the candy canes filled with m&m's and runts for a $1 for a little extra christmas feeling! Oh, and I love that the flat rate boxes can ship there also for 8.95 so I filled two of those to the top with candy, cookies, fugde and puppy chow! HTH:) FYI My mom sent him a package last week and he had it in 6 days!

My dd who will turn 10 on the 23rd is only giving her best friend a small gift. She had to save up her own money and buy it herself which she did on black friday! She understands more when she has to spend her own money! Plus we had 55 people to buy for including all the teachers and such. My dd6 in kindergarten wants to give every girl in her class a present and ds7 could care less. But as far as friends go for now I don't think we need to worry while they are in elementry school:)

7 of 9 for me! I have been a pizza delivery driver for 7 years now and I call tell you how important tips are. I don't even make min. wage after 7 years with the same company because I am a tipped employee. Do you know how fustrating it is to see 15 yo kids that got hired yesterday making 2.00 more an hour than me just because they work in the store. At the same time when we are busy I too make pizzas, tend oven, answer phones or whatever they need me to do. And then I'm the one who sets out in 1/2 foot of snow burning precious gas to get that order to the customer quickly. So sometimes I feel like I'm doing more and getting paid less. This is why tips are so important for me and my family. I depend on my tips just as much as my paycheck. Please remember this when you order out this holiday season-you could be helping kids like mine!:)

Got the 4 I ordered yesterday. Took 16 days from the time I ordered. But very pleased with the quality! :)

Our dog has his own stocking where we will put his gifts. This year he got a new ball and lots of treats and bones! He got a new bed too but he's already using it!:)

I can't wait to get in on this next year! You guys look like your having so much fun! I love reading this thread and hearing about all the cards you all are getting. I didn't have enough posts to PM Eve this year but I'll be ready next year! We sent out 60 cards to family and friends and have yet to receive one in return! I know it's early but I am soooo excited to put at least one card in our card holder. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday;)

Do you have to get a CVS card to get this deal? My grandma could so use one of these but the whole reason I don't shop at CVS is because I hate the cards! We have a walgreens across the street and is so much eaiser. I have never been to our CVS so not sure how this works! Any suggestions? Thanks

Great deal! Too bad I grabbed the one at K-mart on Thanksgiving for $99. Well not really bad cuz I got multi lights and the kids love to watch it rotate! Wish I could have gotten a bonus too!:)
