I'm quickly running out of patience with Woot - I'm getting the server is busy message about 9 out of 10 times and I can't find a decent tracker that keeps up... Roomba is up though - I LOVE mine!!!

i don't mean to thread-crap, BUT I will never again use CVS to print photos - even if they are free. My last experience was horrible. It took a week to get me my 1-hour photos and the quality was horrible. I'm just glad everything was digital so I had them reprinted at Walmart. I took them to a scrapbooking group I go to and showed people the difference in the print color & quality and everyone was astonished by how horrible CVS's photos were.

Basically they offer items until they run out and then move on to the next item. They may have 5 items or 5,000 items, you never know how long something will last (although some woot-off trackers try to estimate end times of items). When a woot-off is going on there will be flashing lights on the page. Also the woot-offs generally have the elusive bags of crap. You may get a bag of crap literally or a flying monkey or a roomba or a tv - you never know. HTH :)

yeah but if you put a 7-day auction up that conviently ends when the FVF hikes are in effect. How nice of them I'm boycotting as well. It is ridiculous to have to pay ebay & paypal fees both and they are excessive IMO.

I would also suggest craigslist or freecycle. Is it truly broke? Type in your problem and type of washer in google and see what you get. I thought mine was broke, but it was just a switch that needed fixing. $30 for a part fixed it :)

I have a couple Go Video ones I got off eBay. One I've had for about 2 years and the other one I've had about 4-5 years. Each of the players have worked great! My only problem is one of the remotes completely quit working a week ago The dvd player does not have enough buttons on the front of it to pick all the menu options on some of the movie menu screens... And my other remote the FF button quit working!?!? how annoying.

i've been to a couple Macy's closings in the last year. I have seen designer purses and fragrances at both. The only exempt items were the cosmetics - which they mostly moved to other stores I would think. Cosmetics are probably exempt since the companies (like Clinique) seem to run them instead of Macy's running them. The prices aren't really raised (but in a way they are). Basically everything is on sale at xx% off the "original" price. Some great deals can be found in the small electronics and kitchenware areas. Items that never really go on sale will be marked down with the rest of the store. Of course know how long to hold out though! I wanted a couple items and didn't get them before they were gone, but I did get some fragrances for 50% off.

I have Verizon and love it!! Their customer service is amazingly helpful (unheard of for other companies IMO). I would stay away from Sprint and Cingular/AT&T or whatever they are calling themselves now.

Well if you look at Consumer Reports Dyson never fairs really well. I ended up not buying one and talking my cousin out of buying one because there are way too many mixed reviews out there for something so expensive.

Thanks for the info on the wine cooler. One question though - anyone know why the target inventory checker says "Could not recognize the DCPI value of 072010177" I did pretty well last night. At first I thought I might end up leaving empty-handed, but then I remembered the scrapbooking area! After Halloween there was nothing to be found, but I found a bunch of Christmas stuff. It was weird though that not all the Christmas stuff was marked down, so I scanned everything. I even found a Halloween thing and of course it came up item not found, so they gave me 80% off (i didn't want to push it to 90% since I did want the item ) I also found a pack of the wintery snowflake plates someone had just tossed on an end-cap. And of course picked up some candy with the Target coupons.

I'm going to download a couple of the older games. So I bought the classic controller for the Wii, but it only comes "wired" no wireless...how annoying! Anyone know if they plan to come out with a wireless one? The gamecube controllers aren't really an option b/c I think the buttons are in the wrong places for older games.
