Happy April! First day of spring break here, and my college son even has break the same week we do for once, so yay we are all home! I have a long list of things I want to get done, but so far not off to a great start. Pretty typical though. And then Friday I'll stress about what I didn't get done.

March in Georgia... it's when we tend to have our best snow storms! Next week will be cold again, but not sure we're in for snow. We've used the air fryer twice. Frozen fries.. meh. Will need more practice, but not sure I'll give up the deep fryer for those. Frozen popcorn shrimp... it wasnt bad. I want to try the brussel sprouts recipe that came with it. I do love how easy it is to clean though.

Back to work tomorrow after a 2 week break. Now is when I start stressing about everything I wanted to get done but didn't. I still have 3 more hours, maybe I can get one more thing done... We did finally get the front door and shutters painted this weekend. It's been so wet lately that was the first chance we got. So that's a big one. I looked at my work email last night for the first time all break, and I'll have a busy day tomorrow, plus I will be leaving early to attend the funeral of a former co-worker.

I got all wrapping done Friday, and baking/candy making done yesterday, so I think I'm ready! This afternoon we are all going to watch a movie, then play a game, and open presents after dinner (my husband is the impatient one and would open now if I let him). Tomorrow my family comes over here.

I hope you feel better! And good luck with all your cooking and baking tomorrow. I know what you mean, seeing everyone happy does make it worth it. I finished wrapping tonight! Hooray! Well except for my daughter and grandson, but I won't see them until the 31st, so I'll wrap their's after Christmas. I need to focus on baking now.

Just made it back from a 3 hour trip to Target. I have finished my shopping. I hope. And I have all the ingredients to make all the things on my list. I hope. Got the hat made for son to give to his friend. Tonight I'll organize and wrap, maybe start on some more buckeyes. Tomorrow I'll bake! We're almost there!

Oh no!!! I'm with ya, I don't do change either! You will get it done though, us moms always do... Tonight I hope to knit a hat, wrap at least a couple presents, and make some cookies or something for work tomorrow. Tomorrow is my last day in the office, Friday I am remote. Yummy! I made those once or twice and they were so good. But not as well received as the buckeyes. And I can only handle one chocolate-dipping activity!

Made half a batch of buckeyes... 10 dozen! Got a container filled for my son to take to work. Cookie making and hat knitting will be tomorrow night.

Well... He's 22! And has watched me make these for years! Sweet though that he's proud of something I make. And you know I will try my best to do it for him. But they might just get cookies.

"Mom, would you mind making some buckeyes for me to take to work this week?" Yep, I'll just whip them up while I'm knitting a hat for the other kid to give to his friend!

Oh no, sorry! I searched for slime projects and it was at the top of the search. They call it Santa's belt.

I saw somewhere where someone put a gift card in a jar of slime. Hadn't thought yet about how to wrap the slime... Probably in a gift bag? I saw some on Amazon called elf snot and reindeer poo, but I don't care for those words, so I was just going to make it. I made some lists today. I *think* all my actual gifts-that-are-not-gift-cards are purchased. I have no idea if the stockings will be full... I should buy extra candy in case. I have 7 gift cards to buy, plus 3 I want to put in slime so I need that. Also made the list of desserts I want to make. 5 new things are on the list, along with buckeyes, brownies, and 2 types of cookies. We'll see if that all happens. I had a list of about 102 gifts I wanted to make (actually about 18). I got 1 finished this weekend... And added 1 more... But I think most have been realistically removed from the list, and probably will only make 1 hat, and *maybe* 4 dishcloths.

Well I had felt like I was in good shape with shopping. And I have the majority and the major gifts. But I still have my 2 nieces and nephew left. I thought I had a plan... but apparently not so much. I received an order yesterday with 3 gifts, I'm waiting on an Amazon order to arrive Sunday-Monday with 3 gifts, an order of dice to arrive on Monday, then whatever I figure out for the 3 kids. (Probably gift cards and electronic money, which is honestly what they want.) I have about 20ish gifts left to wrap, hope to make progress tonight. Buckeyes this weekend or a few nights this week, then next Saturday cookies, brownies, and whatever else I come up with. Whew! We're almost there!

Dang it ThinkGeek. Stop sending me coupons and having sales. I've placed 3 orders from you this month, husband has placed 1, and my mom has placed 1. I really don't need another bag, especially not the one for $20 that I have been eyeing, even if you did send me a $20 coupon...

I'm almost done with my shopping. All the main stuff is done. Just need a couple gift cards and a few more stocking stuffers. Wrapping is mostly done, so that's an extra bonus. I agree, there have been some good sales.

Oh sadness. I hope you get them soon! I bought mine in store because I happened to be grocery shopping that day. Strange for it to take that long though!

So, of those 50, about 10 went in a bag. I much prefer wrapping too, but some things are just unavoidable. Plus, I got some dino bags from Home Goods so those HAD to be used for dino-loving grandson! (I also got dino paper for the rest.) The Kohl's throws went in these cool fabric drawstring bags I have. But I ran out of bags before I ran out of blankets! I'm hoping tonight I can get those few done, then I have to get them all under the tree! Ack!

I wrapped yesterday. ALL. DAY. LONG. I started at 9am, set up my table and carried all the gifts downstairs. I wrapped from 9-7 stopping to eat lunch and dinner. Then did a few more right before bed. Grand total wrapped: 50!! I have maybe 15 left, not including the ones I'm waiting on to arrive.

Set up my wrapping table this morning, and carried about half the gifts downstairs. Making fair progress wrapping now. Had to stop and eat and rest my back! Hope to get the majority done today. My Think Geek order from this week's 50% off flash sale was all for me. But, I only bought 3 of the 5 bags I wanted, so there's that...

Got mine spent early. But now I have $30 Y2Y rewards that I'm struggling to use. I'm sure I'll find something though, I always do!

I know, i got a little freaked writing my list out too... We'll get it done.
