Brad, I know it was a pain, but thank you 10 hundred times for taking the screenshots and putting that in an easy format. I just did not have the patience to navigate Best Buy's website! I also like having it in categories like that, so I can scroll past pages that don't have the things I am interested in. I don't have a lot of things on my overall list so far, but I found 6 things in the ad on my first look through, so yay!

So... y'all don't all check Gotta Deal multie times a day all year long?? I have a shortcut on my main page directly to Unread Messages. Most times I start my internet browsing with GD, read new messages, then continue on from there.

I'm so sorry, that's so aggravating! I have been primarily shopping online for several years now, and I have been able to get everything I need, most of the times even before Thanksgiving dinner. That's nice, because if you just aren't able to get something, you know you'll have another chance in store. A couple times, when something was already sold out online (stupid sleep), I ordered for in store pickup. Since the stores had not opened yet, they still had stock. Last year, my sister was looking for several things at Kohl's, but they were out, and we got there at open. The manager explained that since they started their sale online Monday, and a lot of people chose store pickup, that they were already out of a lot of stuff before Thanksgiving. One word of caution about online shopping though... once you start, you get spoiled, and may not want to go out as much. So if that's your rush, it may make you sad. Good luck!

There are about 10 things or so I'll go get. Free gum and toothpaste, paper towels, deodorant and razors, and BOGO batteries and M&Ms! There's a CVS less than 5 minutes away, and it's directly on the way to mama's, so I'll stop there on the way to dinner.

Finally got my order in. Got a couple throws, a couple shirts, and some towels. It's nice ordering the towels at this time because you can stack the 15% holidayhost coupon with the 20% off. I've already ordered several throws over the last couple months (some were no longer available today so I'm glad I started in September! ), but the ones today and some of the towels will go to the seniors I will be adopting this year. (I can always justify buying more throws!)

I am getting my son a set of calipers for Christmas, and while I was searching I found these small brass ones. The description says they are good for jewelry making, but I imagine they'd be good for any small hobby or job. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XDWYJR1/?coliid=I12FMMZ0KF7R8R&colid=ZG8AKK2A8PVX&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Best buy, Target -
Happy November! Here we go!

Yep, there are weighted blankets on the very last page! And I feel the same, I feel like I already own most of Kohls already...

Usually pre-orders are excluded from deals like this. I'm pretty sure they are for Target's sale.

Yeah, I agree. I thought it was lower before... but that was a really long time ago, and I struggle to remember yesterday!

I have a countdown counting down to 1am ET. So yes, midnight CT. I also just received an email stating free shipping is $75.

I would love to find a good sugar cookie recipe for the cookie press. My crew doesn't love the stock recipes for the cream cheese spritz or butter cookies. But they love sugar cookies. I've tried just some regular mixes and recipes, and they are either too dry or sticky for the press.

Yay. Although I've already been taking advantage of sales and coupons and have gotten 10 throws and clothes for my grandson. Those are usually the bulk of what I get. But I'm sure I will still find things to buy!

I'd pick the Stanley Rolling tool chest with 54 piece tool set for $75. I was excited with the $99 I paid a several years ago, and have been looking for another deal like that since.

Where do you hide gifts until Xmas and how do you keep track of all of it?
bluebear replied to magickallight's topic in 2019
I also use my guest room to stash gifts. That's also where I wrap so that's nice. I dont have a super good system of keeping track, just random lists and notes. But for my 3 kids and 1 grandson, I use an app on my phone. I changed phone platforms last year right before Christmas, so I need to find a new app this year. The one I used kept up with number of gifts and money amount, and that is surprisingly hard to find. I also keep a notebook for the 3 kids and write things down as they are received. Used to I would mark if they were being wrapped or from Santa, but that's not so much a concern now. I also make sure the kids at home have the same number gifts to open, so having that list helps me know when I need to combine or separate gifts to keep that even. Because of this it takes me a little longer to get wrapping organized and finished for the year. I keep the A-1 size Amazon boxes under the bed for stockings, one for each person. That helps me visualize how much "stuff" there is for each stocking. Those also get written in the notebook and marked for stocking. -
We had one open here in July. I was so excited while watching it be built. But yeah I've never gone now that it's open. Interesting with this week's ad being so similar. A lot of the small stuffs on sale have coupons this week for the same price. I might just run up there tomorrow and grab the one thing I saw and check that off the list!

I went and looked up those bags. So cute! And so easy! I may be very tempted. The only thing is, all my wrapping matches my tree theme. And, I already have so much wrapping paper... but maybe I can transition.

I finally got fall stuff out this past weekend, hooray! Although I think I am missing a box. I haven't decorated my dining room in many years, so I was happy to finally do that again. Halloween was pulled out of storage, and I'll probably do that in a couple more weeks.

A couple years ago I was able to make a wrapping station in the extra room. Around Thanksgiving I'll set up a table in there, then I can wrap a little at a time. That's nice, because the worst part for me is getting everything out to start, then putting it away. I'll put all the presents in that room as I get them. I don't like to wrap too early because I like to see what I have. But once my tree is up, I love getting the gifts under it!

My mom and I had been shopping together for several years when my sister decided to join us. On Thanksgiving she checked the ads and made her list. We met at 6 am and decided to go to Staples first, because that's where she wanted to go. As we were walking up I asked what she was planning on getting. "Oh, I was thinking some crayons and coloring books for the kids, and I'll look and see what else I see." Oh dear, she had no idea. We went in, she looked at the lines and people, and decided she could get crayons anytime (they weren't on sale). For the next couple years she still used BF as her casual browsing/shopping by herself (away from kids) day. Drove me crazy. Now I get almost everything done online before Thanksgiving dinner, so I just go and let her shop and browse.

I agree. My school district has had Dell, Lenovo, and now HP. I would for sure pick Lenovo between those 3. (I work in our technology department.)
