Is there a guessing thread as to when the first ad will drop?
bluebear replied to Peppermint's topic in 2021
Haha! I've had the same though, as I will be on vacation as well. It does seem like that Kohl's, Best Buy, and Target all come out right after Halloween. -
Throws (even last year when I made 30 blankets during the year as gifts!), sheets, mattress pads, towels, all from Kohl's. Batteries, I prefer to get them from home depot rather than Lowes as their packs are more relevant to my needs. And mama gets poinsettias from HD every year. Flash drives from Best Buy, but that may stop this year as we just don't use them much anymore. Dog treats and toys from Petsmart. Used to get litter until the deal changed, and sadly we no longer need it. The last few years we've also waited til November to buy Google and nest things, like minis and hubs. This year we will be buying another mini and some cameras. Cheap earbuds is also something rlse I used to stock up on, but I don't think I've seen those in a couple of years.

Good luck! I already bought one last week. I needed $10 more to use the $10/50 home coupon, so I grabbed a hedgehog throw, so it just ended up Benning a couple dollars. Then I ended up with $20 KC, so tomorrow I have to struggle to spend that. And so it begins...

Peppermint, sugar cookies, gingerbread. And always vanilla.

Kohls for sure. I'll start off with "there's not anything I need", and then I'm placing 4-5 orders during the sale and then struggle to spend all the earned kohls cash! Probably next is Best Buy and Target, although I don't usually get much from either. Most things I seem to get really aren't sale items. But it's still fun to look!

A couple months ago I was on when Halo Xboxes went on pre order. They changed the site a little with how it handles traffic, so I was actually pretty impressed and it went well. So hopefully they will use that method again. Last year you were for sure able to order one and pick up in store, even for the event items. I'm pretty sure though it had to be "ordered" and shipped to store though, as it seems like I remember having to wait a few days before going to get my item. And shipping to home was not an option for that item.

We may be looking to get some Arlo cameras. And now that we moved we have a little bit of woods, so it might be neat to get the trail cam to try and catch a glimpse of the beaver that is chewing on our trees!

We do not. I've been at my job 17 years, and we never have. When we were smaller we'd have a party and do white elephant. But now we are too big and our parties have been replaced with a "mid-year meeting". Also when we were smaller, we would adopt a family or some seniors and get together as a small group to sort donations. That was nice and better than an exchange. My son started a new job this spring. They are actually doing a Halloween gift exchange, which I thought was unique, and probably helpful to not have another gift to worry about at Christmas. It is $25 limit, so like a holiday exchange.

Oh, a zip up hoodie would be very nice, I'd much prefer that over a pullover.

Congrats Bopeep! And thanks Brad!

Thanks! We are going to be out of town for Halloween, but my son has agreed to still take care of handing out candy. I'd like to make it as easy as possible for him, so these will be perfect. (Assuming we have anyone come, new neighborhood, so we don't know what to expect!)

Y'all, I set this up today, and it is so dang cute. I got it for my 6yo grandson, but it's a good size for probably 2 to 7ish. They also have different characters. This is a table with storage ottomans for seats. The table is also storage. And it's fabric, so it collapses and folds. He loves making All the Things, so this is going to be good for keeping supplies in. https://www.amazon.com/Idea-Nuova-Nintendo-Collapsible-Ottomans/dp/B08PC6P989/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=2CVEH55YX9BOA&dchild=1&keywords=mario+table&qid=1634158889&sprefix=mario+tab&sr=8-4

What items are you hoping for BF deals on this year?
bluebear replied to magickallight's topic in 2021
I got my husband one last year and he loves it. That might be another good idea for my kids. They need new pillows anyway. I've not tried the bedding, I forget they have that. I may look into that as well. Thanks! -

We just moved so there are a few things for the new house we need. Nest or Ring doorbells and cameras Google mini Carpet cleaner Bedding Maybe some new double wall ovens Xbox and PS controllers Galaxy (or other maybe) watch -
So, I'm eyeing the B1G1 15% off on the gaming cards. I gift those to least 5 people, and I'm usually grabbing them the week before Christmas at full price and a trip to the store. And while my boys and husband just buy their own games now when they come out, my grandson got a switch this year, and I see some games for a fairly good price. So I may go ahead and get that out of the way too.

Omg. I know right?! That 4 PC set I linked to isn't on the pyrex site yet. I bought the 2 PC set last week. But this 4 PC set has gingerbread ships, so guess I gotta get that too. They also have Hello Kitty, which is my other thing. And today I found they have Pooh things too... sigh.

Star wars pyrex. This is a holiday set, that has gingerbread Star Wars characters. Perfect for Star wars fans, Pyrex collectors, and those the decorate in gingerbread. Like me!! https://www.amazon.com/Pyrex-Holiday-Decorated-Glass-Storage/dp/B0971JHQ1Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=star+wars+pyrex&qid=1633826614&sr=8-4

Interesting, I also got 30% off, but it says the GET30, instead of a unique code. I had thought that they usually would send unique codes, but also have a generic, so I was a bit confused when I checked that. Thanks for verifying I wasn't crazy! So wonder why some got the GET30 and some got unique ones. Not complaining though! I can use that 30% right now for stuff for my new house!

I just moved, and my craft room is now in the unfinished basement. I've always wanted an excuse to get brick wallpaper, so here's my chance. It would also make a neat accent wall in a living room or maybe even as a kitchen backsplash (it's waterproof). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08PBLX183/?coliid=I216CPB0YOB81I&colid=ZG8AKK2A8PVX&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Dr. Squatch natural soap. My husband turned his nose up at this when it was gifted to him... but 2 years later, he hasn't used anything else! The Pine Tar is is favorite. The scents are "man scents". I plan to also get some for my 2 sons, as they have recently switched to bar soap as well. https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Squatch-Pine-Tar-Soap/dp/B00TXRDA9O/ref=sxts_rp_s1_0?crid=2XLO4IRZD2WYY&cv_ct_cx=dr.+squatch+soap&dchild=1&keywords=dr.+squatch+soap&pd_rd_i=B00TXRDA9O&pd_rd_r=ff03a1e4-37ed-40af-bdb4-105a2f1898c1&pd_rd_w=QF0JI&pd_rd_wg=81Sis&pf_rd_p=2d797bba-fb6a-4757-9a0c-5fccc205e39c&pf_rd_r=CET654ZQD4NKGS70EMYT&psc=1&qid=1633355805&sprefix=dr.+sq&sr=1-1-fc75cba6-9cc3-4de0-9ba2-975e021a2f30
