Ours are still at 30%- I ended up getting one yesterday for ds as the touch edition is completely gone at 2 of my local stores and only a few at left at one. Hopefully there will still be a few there at 50% so I can purchase one then and return the other... but it's looking very doubtful.

My pleasure. I had stopped checking as well, but had to pick up a few odd items for some minor home repairs, so I wandered over that way... and spent way too much money. My ds hates it when I call him and ask him to stop on his way home after football practice with his truck at a store. lol. I was a little suprised that the citronella candles here still haven't been marked down at all...

LOL. I remember you starting it... it seems like there was a "hot toy" thread last year too that I had replied to... I only remember because my niece's birthday is in August and she had asked for one then, and I couldn't find them ANYWHERE. On her list this year for her birthday - pillow pet, zhu zhu items, American girl items, and that was pretty much it - so she wasn't much help this year. lol.

Think I was one of the ones that predicted the Zhu Zhu "hottness" last year- after talking to several of my younger clients early on- lol. I haven't been able to really get into the spirit this year... but I will try to remember to start asking... lol.

Went to the JC one yesterday afternoon. Wasn't marked down then, so I'm thinking it will be today. Sorry I didn't answer before now, late night at work. Happy hunting!

We're going to Myrtle Beach S.C. on Aug 6th for a last mini vacation before ds starts back to school. Checked the schedule, and South Carolina's tax free weekend will be Aug 6-8th. Yay... lots of outlets there!

It was luck. I rarely find the bargains you all do as there aren't many stores in my area. I found most of mine in the housewares area battery station. Hoping you find some soon!

I stopped on my way to ds' ballgame yesterday at my other local store and found one 20 pk (16+4) pk of AAA, and five 20(16+4) AA packs. We run through batteries like CRAZY at our house - so I did a little happy dance! Thanks for posting this!

I got one of every pack to scan too, just in case. I really must have looked quite crazy since the two guys in electronics stood and watched me scan them all. lol. But, after checking every battery station in the store I was only able to find one 16 pk of AA and 2 pks of AAA. I will check the other local store soon, but I don't hold out much hope. Still, happy that I found any at all, I usually miss out on the bargains that most of you find!

Toys R Us has their Mr Potato Head on sale for $3.99 (reg. $7.99) in their 2 day sale circular this week. With the Hasbro coupon ($2.00 off) they would be $1.99. They also have the Lullaby Glow Worm for $4.99 (reg $9.99), with the Hasbro coupon ($2.00 off) they would be $2.99.

I agree that you can find some good deals at www.eastbay.com. I just bought ds a pair of Nike Air baseball cleats for 19.99 (reg 94.99). Hope you find some!

That's basically all that she wants one for... I would love to find one at 75% but I seldom find the bargains that a lot do on here. I had been to one local Target earlier in the day yesterday and they had the same one for 30% off as well, so I was excited to find it at the other for 50% off! Hopefully she'll like it.

Still 30 and 50% off here too. Hoping tomorrow will be the day... one store here doesn't have much left that I'm interested in though. Went to a different one today, and they had much more so that will be the one I hit. I did manage to find one of the sit and spins today- had the coupon so it was .98. Also found 2 of the mini "don't break the ice" games from Christmas. Rang in as INF, but cashier let me have them for .39 each- I sort of figured that they wouldn't sell them to me, but no problem.

I'll have to check them out tomorrow... The JC target was WIPED OUT this evening. Thanks for the info.

I should have waited, I bought a new tree for the house there yesterday at 75% off. I wonder why it wasn't 90% off though.
