  1. Have you seen the new Wii skins? You can get a ton of colros and patterns - not bad price either http://www.decalgirl.com/browse.cfm/2,233.htm
  2. I think the site is absolutely fantastic. Found all the information I wanted and learned more that I would of ever thought to ask! Great work people - thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Left the house shortly after 4:30 am Parked and entered Walmart by 4:45. Went directly to the tv I wanted while youngest and oldest DD's went over to the SD cards, PSP, MP3 players and we were all told we could grab what we wanted but had to wait at the display until 5 am before proceeding throughout the stores. By 5:15 we had scooped up everything we wanted and were back home by 5:30 am. I then jumped on line with Best Buy and got the camcorder for DD #2 and a Blue Tooth Headset - both at killer prices. Then decided the heck with it and ordered a Wii from Ebay (which is now gently wrapped and hidden). This was by far and large the best BF experience for me. No pushing, no shoving, no rude shoppers. Rather like a scene out of the Twilight Zone after past years lol
  4. Bundle Back again at http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?search_constraint=0&search_query=nintendo+wii&ic=24_0
  5. I was at Walmart today too. Lots of the tv's still lying around at BF prices. Didn't pay much attention to other stuff. I did pick up one of those robes since I needed a new one anyway. It really is comfy lol
  6. I imagine you can take the extra games back to Walmart stores themselves and exchange for the games you want. There are a bunch coming out in early January that you might want to wait to exchange for.
  7. What ever you do at least make it look like you tried to be fair and equal. My mil gives me the crappiest stuff (2X sweatshirts and I wear a size 10) from the Dollar store, then gives nice stuff to my DH (her son). lol I've always believed its not the gift but the thought, but in this case the thought is rather clear, huh? lol I finally got my sil on my side to drop the gift drawing for the family. One more crappy tin of popcorn and I'd of went off like the 4th of July. lol
  8. How beautiful! Now you can come help me with mine lol
  9. I think 5 oz. is a proper serving size. Remember the new food triangle and the portion no bigger then a fist? I couldn't touch a good filet mignon for that price here. Ribeye is going for $9.99 per pound and I remember looking at the fm and dropping the package in price shock.
  10. Okay called them up instead. She insisted there was no such sale taking place and that the item was full price. So I talked her into bringing up the page and read the sale bit from the top of the page so she took my order via phone Thanks for the tip!!!
  11. Tried the link 3 times and it always says $222.00 - even if I add to the cart it doesn't change. Wonder why that is???????
  12. Walmart in person and Best Buy online as it's an hour trip one way to a Best Buy. Got a camcorder and a blue tooth headset for great prices at BB online I'm happy (though I wish I could get one of those laptops eventually lol)
  13. I ended up getting one. We are so far away from stores except Walmart there was no way I was going to catch one before Christmas for the kids. With this in hand ran up to Walmart and picked up Zelda and Rayman (which everyone is raving about as as pure silly fun - right up my alley).
  14. The hot items were already unwrapped or just in carts to grab when I arrived at 4:45 am. They put my tv in my cart for me and told me I had to stay at the display until 5 am before moving on. DD was in the area with the PSP's, 1gb sd cards and MP3 players and they let you grab what you wanted and stay there too. The computers were in the back so not sure how that worked.
  15. "0" here as well. Checked on BF at 5:20 am to an empty lane. This is a first. In the past I spent more time in the checkout lane then I did shopping
  16. How horrible for you!!!!!!!!! Thank you for sharing this painful experience to help the rest of us. For the rest of us: Always exit the store with your car keys in hand. I keep a key sticking out between my fingers just in case. If attacked scream FIRE, then jab those keys towards the attackers eyes. If you have the alarm on your car push the button. Remember the key word is FIRE not help. You get so many kids horsing around that the word doesn't mean anything anymore it seems. Most important of all, nothing you own is as valuable as your health. If you don't think you can ward the attacker off give him what he wants and remove yourself as far as possible from him while screaming.
  17. Our Walmart was not near as busy as usual. Extremely suprising since we are an hour ride away from Best Buy and the like. But 20 miles away from Target. So perhaps the shopper headed that way. We had lots of door busters available later too
  18. Our store is completed - so definitely not a case of not yet installed. I was shocked to see how many regular items I was purchasing at the old Walmart went up in price when they Super-ized! I complained to every submanager and manager I could find and told them it wasn't worth it to drive the extra distance to the new store if they are charging higher prices and I would just pick those items up at my grocery store (and they were grocery store price increases too!). Abt. a week and a half later I noticed several of these items were repriced to the old prices
  19. We have a brand new Super Walmart that opened this fall. While there are lots of new things - one of the old things is missing - price scanners! Yep, nary a one to be found. We all now how Walmart is about having stuff out with no prices or having stuff in the wrong spot. So the only choice is to grab an item and take it to a check out (and wait and wait in line) to get a scan. Anyone else notice this?
  20. Not a thing differently. Thanks to the great folks at Gotta Deal I knew what to expect and how to find it and got what I went for - no waiting with a round trip including shopping time of 45 minutes
  21. How about an old movie he used to enjoy? You can find a lot of the oldies on dvd now. Then depending on the theme of the movie, find a few little things to add to it that fit the theme!
  22. Cool! Got the bluetooth for myself and the Panasonic minidv camcorder for my daughter. We are over an hour away from any BB so I would never in a million years make it to one before the weekend. Thanks for the heads up!!!
  23. The older RCA's were high quality products. That is why you read how long they lasted. It's the new components that are lackluster at best, garbage at worst. I wouldn't bother buying and loading it in my truck if it was a dollar.
  24. I'll add my thanks as well. You people are terrific!
