Okay after reading the post on the Secret 8 now 16: I did see coffee pots , mixers and cookers and tons of sheets in with the blitz items but figured they were just in the flyer already and I wasnt interested in them. I see that some are in the flyer but whether they are the ones in question I don't know. I didnt pay that much attention. I was looking for computer mainly and saw a flat of desktops. They do have an announced Compaq. I forgot cranberries for tomorrows dinner so might need to run up there to get them (okay so its 10 times further then my grocery store but.....) If I can make it up there I'll see if they moved them from our Garden Center. I certainly didnt see the the row of storage units we had at the old regular Walmart like last year.

There will be alot less then a million hitting the stores since they are replacing loads of them due to fatal errors online.

It's a shame they let their quality slip like they did. We had my grandmothers old RCA console (the pretty one in the wooden case that sat on the floor for you younger readers lol) She purchased this abt. 1976. Would you believe it just finally starting going blue screen 2 years ago?????? 28 years for a tv - beat that? Now you can't guarantee a month on one. Shame on Walmart for pushing garbage.

I just got the January shipping date from the Amazon/Target bundle too. I ended up canceling since this is a Christmas Present for the kids. I could cry.

We used to be big RCA fans and we've sworn them off now. We had purchased two, one for ourselves and one for my mother in the nursing home. They both went to heck in a years time. Considering they were different models purchased at different times I think that is a lot more then coincidence.

I am in Illinois too - LaSalle County on interstate 80 with a new Supercenter. They are kicking off the sale at 5 AM. Plus they are not closing for a few hours like some others do. I think you spoke to a misinformed CS. I triple checked last night just to make sure.

We have a new Super Walmart and I've yet to be able to find an Associate to help when I needed it - but wander off to the back of the Garden Center where the Blitz Items are stored and they come pouring out of the woodwork! lol The advertised specials were in black plastic and clear plastic with Blitz Tags on them, either said the item name or someone tore the plastic to peak inside. Didn't see all of them because the tags were to the back, but what I did see where about 8 white plastic covered flats with "SPECIAL BLITZ ITEM" Do not open. Not a word written on them as to contents. In electronics a special display with no prices for the 42" Panasonic HDTV Plasma is up. It is item TH-42PX6U which is not the advertised item in the BF flyer. I also noticed some of the IPOD samples are suddenly missing from the case. Plus a new Acer Laptop has appeared. So more considerations.

I hate those seaboxes. Ours (when it was just a Walmart and before they supercentered) used those for years. Sure doesn't pay to snoop.

We got our dd a pair at the sporting goods store in the local store. They had them with the sports shoes

I have wireless internet - are you saying I will need to plug it into the phone socket as well??? My tv room where this will go (if I get it) is one of the few rooms without a phone socket................

Got my BF flyer in todays mail. The 24 page circular has a notation on the bottom to check Walmart.com for 5 days of Super Online Specials: Mon. Nov. 27 - Fri. Dec. 1 hmmmmmmm

I wonder if they won't be mirroring what Amazon is doing? For those not familiar with it, they are voting now what items will be put on Thanksgiving Day for a huge savings. I voted but I remember was the one I voted for, a Xbox 360 for $100, Mongoose Mountain Bike for abt $30. Possibility..........

Hmmm, I'll have to see if I can get her on the phone. I don't think ours even has a lay away department since it opened just over a month ago. I sure didn't see one. But going from a regular to Super is rather mind boggling. lol I could run in and grab what I wanted before and check out in 5 minutes. Now its closer to 30 minutes to find stuff. I had called this afternoon and was told there was a line and getting 20 units (we have a new Super Walmart) But my daughter stopped by there abt 7 and said she didn't see a line. I ordered the Amazon - Target Bundle so if she can make a trip there and snag one I'll cancel that. I really don't want the football and poker games anyway.

I wonder if they just won't be giving out rain checks for the numbers of 30 to 35. You have to figure at least somewhere the credit card might be rejected or someone could get sick and leave. So a few over would make sense. But to leave them sit empty handed should cause a riot.

Little hard to believe that another truck would be coming in this late at night with just more WII units.
