Before we moved, we had a Big Lots and a Kmart within 3 minutes of our house. I went on Turkey day, but never found anything cause I didn't go early. Now it's not close, so probably not.

I am not new to BF or rebates, but I haven't done many, so I was wonder who to avoid (which stores have sucky rebate practices) and who have good rebates? My experience - only with Staples. I had a few rebates last BF, and got them within 2 months. It seemed kinda long time to wait - but at least I didn't have to send anything in - all done over the internet.

yep - I'd a called a manager. Although I've never had a problem with coupons at TRU, I am the first to call a manager if they didn't accept a legal coupon.

The ball pits that TRU has listed for 39.99 are now the BF price of 19.99. :) (the TRU listing doesn't have that one listed as "Available Now").

I just got off the phone with Customer Service. I asked what their policy for Price Matching would be for Friday - since it's going to be crazy in the stores. She told me that they will PM anything that they have available (of course it has to be the same model number...yadda yadda yadda), but they WON'T start PM until they open, which is 6am. Soooooo.... if you want something from another store (read: Office Depot - stinker heads!), you can PM at Staples OVER THE PHONE while you are shopping else where. (Oh, and to PM over the phone, to verify that the other store has it in stock, they have a computer database that they look it up in). You may have already known this - but I thought I'd share for those of you who didn't.

I'm goin to our 24-hour Walmart (hopefully) at 2 - maybe 3 for the Ride-on Jeep for $80. Lord hopefully I am early enough. I spoke with 2 people in the sporting goods dept (where they have the bikes and ride-on toys) and asked them where they would have the blitz items (jeep). Neither of them knew - but one of them did tell me that "her" trampolines would be in the garden department. I have never shopped at at 24-hour WM, so I am really nervous to not get there early enough to get what I want.

Good, one less store to worry about missing deals from. I wish I had downloaded the files before they got pulled tho'....

Marc - thanks for the heads up on Staples....I actually would rather shop there than Office Depot - since it's closer. Let's just hope that I get outta Wally world before 6 so I can get into Staples for the flash drive.

I am looking for a 1 GB flash drive for DH - and I see that Office Depot has one for $29 (after discounts and MIRs). I also see that Staples has a 512 one - but DH really wants a 1GB - so that one won't do. Question - is that a great deal? Do I have to worry about getting it BF morning or can I get it during the weekend? Wadda ya all think?

I was asking around at my local WM about where things might be, because I have never BF shopped a 24/7 WM, so I have no clue where they might "hide" the good stuff. I was informed that the trampolines will be in the garden center - and perhaps the 1-seater Jeeps. I REALLY want a jeep for my dd, so I hope the lady is right. Also, she told me that they won't PM any blitz items, but they will PM sale items as long as it's the EXACT (she was emphatic) same item in the ad.

CP babies (one for dd and one for gift), jeep (dd) and carebear (dd).... hope I get at least one of them !!

Yeah - I am going through my coupons to make sure that this is something that I will get free or nearly free. Gotta love BF! The only bummer is that I can't PM at Walmart. Oh well. I was just trying to eliminate one stop that morning. Guess not.

This doesn't sound like a GREAT deal to me, since if you double it (the size and price), it's about what you'd pay in the store during a regular time. I was looking at WalMart for the same size (to PM during BF), and the smallest size they have is 100 oz. Has anyone seen the 50 oz size Tide before? This may be a stupid question, since it's not a HOT item, but if I can save a buck or two here and there, then I am all for it. (Just in case anyone else is interested, I think there is a coupon just put out for $.50 off a container of Tide ~ don't know if there is a size requirement ~ and if I am correct, there is a rebate at Walgreens for Tide too).

Yeah, so far the only place I HAVE to go is WM. I was kinda hoping that I would skip the mad-house, even though WM is 3 minutes away from me, and the Target/TRU is at least 30 mins away. BTW - don't ya just love the "Alerts" that get emailed to you? It reminds me to go and look for new ads, even if I don't plan on shopping at the particular store on BF. :)

From what I am reading on this thread, it looks like my 24-hour WM will be open all night so I can get there before 5 and *hopefully* get all the items I want. Do you think 2 am is too early to get to a 24-hour WM (if it's already open)? I am really interested in the MP3 player and the Cabbage Patch babies (for my baby! :) )

Man...this is one of the main things I really want to get at WM on BF. (that and the MP3 player - I wonder if I will get them both - lol!) I hope that there is a big stock of these on BF - it looks like it's going to be a REALLY popular item!

I was only able to take 1/2 days on my first 2 black fridays since my co-worker HAD to have the day off and we both couldn't be gone for the whole day. Now I get the day off anyway. Yeah!
