When my nephew was 8 a couple of years ago I got him a telescope. He adored it. Another neat thing is a rock tumbler or a crystal growing kit. They are all fun yet educational. :)

I guess the doodle bears will be there next year. WE had a huge bin of them.

I like playing it with new gifts -- you can set any dollar amount. People are always fighting for the best gifts. I got a nice rice maker/vegetable steamer one year. I was the third person to get it so it was mine! lol

I was just at Walmart a couple of hours ago and there were STILL MANY pallets of stuff (not just one or two items) from BF. I could not believe how much was still there. Nearly all of the toys were still readily available.
