  1. If you don't want to pay that price, Build A Bear sets are sold for under $15 at Joann Fabrics
  2. KB Toys Save $5 off your first order of $50 or more when you pay with your Visa card. To redeem this offer enter offer code VISA46KB in your shopping cart at checkout. Valid: 09/01/2006 to 02/28/2007
  3. KB's prices are always higher. Unless you have a good deal or a good coupon the prices are not good. I am going to check out the KB's Outlet Store in Hilton Head this coming week though. I will be at the Tanger Outlet anyway, so what can it hurt. I am curious to see how the prices will compare there.
  4. Yeah, I see that now. I think the big problem is that this is their first Christmas doing their own online orders and shipping since they severed ties with Amazon. They are having a lot of trouble now. I would pitch a fit if I were you. I too wanted in on that deal, but I am waiting for another payday to finish the rest of the shopping -- and BF too of course ! :)
  5. I think it is a great idea! :) Shelters are the way to go! I would find your local shelter and find out when they are open during Christmas. Maybe you could take her in a day or two before and get an early present! :) OR... if you know what size dog you are going after, you could get her all the doggy supplies and put them in a box for Christmas and then tell her she gets to pick out the perfect puppy for all of you (with your guidance of course.) I still remember the day I got my first puppy! :)
  6. They screwed my sister on shipping charges. She had a bunch of stuff ordered. They only had one item in stock (1 of a B1G1F game deal). They did not tell her this though. Over the past several days they have been shipping one item at a time. The shipping has added up a ton! The total that they give you says "estimated shipping" then they charge you as each item ships out. I understand the rationale is that parents want to get stuff as soon as possible, but they are doing this list of items and it has wound up one item a day. Surely they know when they will have more of something in stock and can hold an item for a day or two if they know there will be more to the shipment soon. Just beware when ordering that this may happen.
  7. WOW what a great deal -- Hmm to bad we just signed for my new Escape. I live in Georgia right along the border. I was already planning a trip up the the Tanger Outlets in Hilton Head (about a 30-40 minute drive) over the weekend. This is just icing on the cake! :)
  8. I say go for it!! Let us know when it is to air so we can watch for you! ! :) How exciting!! :)
  9. I honestly have no clue. I don't have anything with them...no account, no credit card. I just moved to Savannah in late August, but they had my name and address on the coupon. I have been getting ones from Bed Bath & Beyond as well, but they are just to the current resident. This one had my name and address on it. I am not complaining one bit though! Here is a link to the ads that are up on the site right now. http://corporate.burlingtoncoatfactory.com/ads/index.shtml
  10. This is my first time being near a BCF on BF. I was hoping they did something for BF, but I have not heard anything yet. I did get a good coupon in the mail today though! :) 20% off Yeah!!
  11. I called my local Kmart. The gentleman was very friendly and helpful. But alas they were all out. Thanks for the post thought! :)
  12. My mall usually has some unique dolls at one of the kiosks. They would be a good choice. Also sometimes they have doll making kits that are very simple at the craft stores. A neat idea would be to buy a non-name brand doll. Take it out of the box. Find someone who can embroider it or make a special "tag" that says made by elves or Santa's helpers. It would ad that personal touch that she needs. If I were you, I would also get some old fashioned looking paper -- something that looks handmade and wrap it in a special box just for her. Then the tag you could write something like "From Santa made especially for (child's name) by Santa's elves" This will be a very special present for her. :)

  14. VERY good point! I will price match when the store is too far away or if it is an item that the other store will probably be out of when I get there.
  15. If he loved March of the Penguins you HAVE to take him to see Happy Feet. My son is so excited about going to see it! :) March of the Penguins will be on the Hallmark Channel on the 25th of November I got an email yesterday about it. :)
  16. Thanks I will give it a shot. Hmm now to decide what all I want. :)
  17. Awesome!! I have a $10 coupon off of a $50 purchase as well. Can the two be combined?
  18. I think that it is great that they are saying Merry Christmas. It does not offend me either way really though. As far as walmarts and registers. I don't get why they have so many. They hardly ever open more than half of them anyway. It is all over not just your store. I promise.
  19. I am loving Georgia so far! I am still learning the ins and outs of the area though. I really won't be hitting any big electronics this year though. I would love to, but my husband bought me a Ford Escape for Christmas :) So...I guess I will have to live with that. lol My son's Bday is BF this year so I was thinking about hitting the stores a little after the rush for some of the all day sales and letting him pick out a thing or two with the money he is getting from family and friends for his birthday. Maybe since it is more college geared there will be some decent deals left.
  20. I love Vonage! I pay about 30 a month and have unlimited calls anywhere in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and many places in Europe. You have to have high speed internet to use it.
  21. I just moved here this year. I have been a BF shopper for many years now (since I was 16 to be exact). That was in Mississippi though -- and a small town at that. I am curious to know if anyone has been BF shopping in Savannah before and what to expect. I don't know how bigger cities are for BF shopping. I live out toward Richmond Hill. What areas are usually the busiest? When do the lines start to form? Thanks in advance! :)
  22. The savings bond would be a great idea. Toys would be a hard thing since so many people will be buying those type of things. I love onestepahead.com they have some unique and useful baby items some are exclusive only to them. So if you do want to go the toy route, I would go with something from there like this http://www.onestepahead.com/product/91201/486756/117.html , this http://www.onestepahead.com/product/91201/1652/117.html, or this http://www.onestepahead.com/product/91201/296770/117.html. They have lots of other things too depending on your budget. I have always found that if you want something of good quality that no one else will buy, this is the place to go. Also, let me add that OF COURSE you have a right to be a grandma to this precious baby!! I am sure the mother would be thrilled. The more love a baby gets the better! :) It is so great that you are excited! And congrats Grandma!! :)
  23. When is her actualy Bday? My son's is Saturday the 25th!
  24. It says on the site without a card you get an automatic 15% off. HTH
  25. My Hubby knows exactly how much I spend. He trusts me completely and knows I get a TON of good deals. However, I would rather tell him what good buys I am getting. He does not enjoy grocery shopping, but he always goes so he can be with me and our kids. But the 1st BF we were together, I was going to skip it and just spend time with him and our son since we had the day off. But when he saw how much we could get some stuff for at BB, Walmart, and EB games (and a few other places) , we made a Bee line for the stores. Now he actually enjoys the sport of shopping when there are good deals. And believe it or not, he can pick out outfits that I would never dare to try on that look amazing on me. He has quite an eye for all of it. I am the Thrifty Shopper in the family, but he is the one that wants to buy buy buy. So he tells me what he wants, and I find the best deal on it we can get.
