sams club card expires this month
MandaJo111 replied to lovebears65's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I wonder if that is a local type thing. I got my renewal the other day and I did not see any tax listed. Was the renewal an odd number or something? Ours is always flat fees like $40 or something depending on which membership you have. We don't have a Costco either. -

MandaJo111 replied to DezaRay24's topic in Online Hot Deals
A few of the shoes were low enough for this so be a decent deal. But I just bough DD and DS shoes last week. -
Okay, so let me get this right. Is that half off of the already reduced price?

They have a nice array of kids shoes on there. I love how easy it is to look at all the details on the shoes and all of the views they have of them too! -

Yes they were. They also had some of the undershirts too (the muscle shirt kind) and they had black and grey in those. -

I went to Target last night. They did not have a ton of stuff, but I did get a few good deals. They had 24 packs of Fresh Bluff Gum (the little pellet type that are usually in blister packs)-- peppermint flavor and whitens teeth (tastes just like dentyne ice). I paid 14 cents a piece. 9.40 oz. bags of plain M&M's (red white and blue) for $0.46 Planters Select Macadamias, Cashews, and Almonds large 21 oz can (from Christmas) Regular 6.99 now $1.74 Creamy Delights Cocktail mix Dulce De Leche (also had a mango kind) was $3.99 now $1.98 I got a cute pair of corduroy pants for my daughter for $3 they did not have a tag so the guy asked someone in the department how much. They also had a bunch of men's thermal underwear (tops and bottoms) as well as boxer briefs for half off (sign said 30%, but stickers were 50% off). And they had a whole rack of 30% off belts for men as well (can you tell I was shopping for hubby lol) -
Hershey's Cacao Reserve Truffles
MandaJo111 replied to MandaJo111's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I checked target and walmart tonight...they still don't have them in. I checked in the candy section and at the checkouts and all I can find is the bars not the chocolate truffles in the tins. I guess I will hit the grocery stores later in the week. -

Hershey's Cacao Reserve Truffles

Well I am making a Target run today anyway so I will check again....they may have been sold out last time. Hopefully they will have them -
If you have more than one Big lots you could use it again. And honestly, I don't think they are even paying any attention to whether you have used it or not.

I looked at my target last week and all they had were the bars. I will keep checking. Maybe they will get them soon. Were those Targets regular or Super Targets? Mine is a regular and it is attached to the mall. -

Dang I wish we had one of those here. I still can't find them anywhere. I see the bars all the time, just not the truffles. -

Thanks for the codes. I was planning on ordering some stuff from my most recent catalog. I may have to speed up my ordering. :) I am happy to hear that they look good in person too. I was curious. -
looking for a deal on a swing set!
MandaJo111 replied to Mommy2Four's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I drove past one yesterday in perfect condition. They had it out for trash or free pickup. They also had sandbox stuff and all kinds of things. I would check out free cycle. Put a wanted ad on there. Usually someone will realize they have one and don't really need it and offer it to you. -
KMart in Savannah, GA is marking down baby stuff. They have not marked it down a ton, but they are slowly marking it down (high chairs, travel systems, car seats, baby monitors, pull ups and a few other items) I managed to snag a good deal. They had a top of the line baby monitor marked down to $40. However, one of them was priced $2.99. It rang up $40 still so I told the cashier it was marked $2.99 so that is what I paid for it! :)

I went this weekend and saved nearly $200 bucks with this coupon!! We already had plans to go by and pick up a bed and some other things. But this was icing on the cake! We got a Queen size Oak 4 poster bed (regular $299 -- $249 after coupon), desk (regular $99 -- $79 after coupon), Eddie Bauer Car Seat and Booster Seat (regular $100 -- $80 after coupon), Large Dog Crate (Regular $50 -- $40 after coupon), and some miscellaneous closet organization items and a small TV stand for DS room. Big lots has good prices as it is, but after the coupon, we saved nearly $200 off of those prices!! :) I LOVE the Buzz Club!! :)

Vacuum Cleaner - Inexpensive but effective?
MandaJo111 replied to Kangaroo's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
The one I mentioned above (Eureka Boss with Hepa filter) is NOT Bagless. It uses bags. I hate the bagless kinds -- too much dust and bother with them plus the suction never seems very good. Check Walmart for the Eureka Boss you will be glad you did! -

Same here. Hubby came home December 5th this year. He leaves again in May. It was supposed to be August or October, but thanks to the Presidents new plan they moved it up a few months. -
I hosted one of the House Parties back in December. We all fell in love with the Hershey's Cacao Milk Chocolate Truffles. We have tried like crazy to find them since then and have had no luck. I went so far as to contact Hershey and they told me that they are slowly spreading around. The only flicker of hope they gave me was to get a friend who sells candy to order me some (if I had a friend that sells candy that would be great!?!) They also told me that I could contact the host of the party to find out how they got them (uh hello I told them I hosted it!?!). Anyhow, I would love to get some more of these. Has anyone had any luck finding them?

My husband and I were talking about them the other day. We found out we both read them as kids. I think I may get some to read to my son. He is 4, but he loves having choices to make so I think he would enjoy them. -

The You Be the Jury ones were always great. Does anyone remember the Choose Your Own Adventure series? They still publish these I believe. They were great! You could read the book 3-4 times and it would be different every time depending on what option you wanted to do. -
Looking for Cheapest Airfare
MandaJo111 replied to dmcginty's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
My husband flew back from Korea when our daughter was born via C-Section (the army refused to fly him home and said we had to pay for it). We looked online for deals just to see how much it was. The army did the arrangements for him which was supposed to be a lot cheaper, but looking online it was not that much cheaper than finding a deal online ourselves. Delta does flights out of Seoul via Korean Air, so you may want to check with them. -
Vacuum Cleaner - Inexpensive but effective?
MandaJo111 replied to Kangaroo's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I went through a few vacuum cleaners. I would have one for a couple of months and it would die. We were looking into getting a Dyson when we came across the Eureka Boss with Hepa filter. It is a Consumer Digest Best Buy and also claims to out-clean Dyson by 60%. We paid a little over $100 for it. However, the price that was available online at Walmart was about $30 more than what we paid. I believe when we got ours it was $119. Anyhow, we have had it for going on 2 years now and it has just as much suction as it did the day we got it and it has been through some wear and tear. For me it was well worth it to have a vacuum that is not disposable. Here is one of the ones that Walmart offers, but check the store, they often have different colors for much cheaper. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2656405 -
