  1. I bought a durabrand dual screen a year and a half ago from walmart. It was about 180 and included a game system. I love it! I have had no problems and we use it all the time! It has a few head phone jacks and individual volume controls and settings. You can also play different games on each system or one watch dvd and the other play a game. I have also taken it into several hotel rooms and hooked it up to use on the big tv in there as well while traveling.
  2. I am happy to help. I never knew they made them. I am going to get one myself! :)

  7. I picked up a DVD Recorder/VCR combo in store for $80 (marked down, but that had a whole endcap of them). They also had a DVD Recorder for $62 Mine has a tuner, and I really like it.
  8. Not that I am aware of. After the 6 months it just goes to regular pricing.
  9. I am glad I was not the only one to buy from them within 10 minutes or so of going on. lol I bought a topaz ring (hubby's birth stone). I chose to pay with paypal so I am hoping to get my $15 rebate from them too. :) Thanks for the post OP!!
  10. No problem, you can also set it up to ring at multiple locations at once if you wish. IF you are waiting on an important call and are not sure you will be by the phone but don't want to actually forward the calls you could do this.
  11. They work very well! I don't use the answering machine because I have voicemail, but if you do they even have 3 different mailboxes on the answering machine part. The speakerphone on the 3 handsets is better than the previous phones that we have had.
  12. I just click on the print button on my toolbar. It has worked for me every time. On my IE7 toolbar it is set up as the 3rd button to the right (home, rss feeds, then the print button). You could also go to file on the top right then click on print.
  13. Just thought of another one... If you are a winner on an IWG print out a screen shot. It may not always help, but it is better to have it just in case, some contests will allow it as proof. (Plus it is fun to show off...hubby was so happy to see the $1000 one :) )
  14. Realize that if there are only 300 prizes and everyone on here is winning....there is an error with the contest and more than likely you won't get a prize.
  15. Did you know that you can set it up to automatically forward to your cell when there is an outage of any kind (be it cable or power). I have mine set up this way. If the power should happen to go out, all of the calls go straight to my cell. Just go to your features section and set it up under the section that says Network Availability Number. That way you don't have to run next door to forward them.
  16. I have used 911 though them and have never had a problem. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the person put in the wrong address or forgot to change the address. Since you can take it with you, you would need to have the appropriate address in the system when you travel otherwise they would be routed to your address on file.
  17. I have had Vonage for over a year now and I would highly recommend it. The 911 issue you are speaking of is no longer a problem (has not been since I got them over a year ago). You simply have to type in your address when you set up Vonage so that when you dial 911 it knows where to route it to. I love being able to call anyone I want to for however long I want to for about 30 bucks a month with tax. When I had Bell South I was paying over $90 for the same thing. With Vonage I have voice mail, call waiting, caller ID and all of the other options for the same low price. I have recommended it to many people now who have switched. The only problem that you may have is that they do not have local numbers in all areas yet. So check your number on vonage.com first to see. This is not an issue for me. I actually still have my phone number from Mississippi (because I wanted to keep it). I like that I can travel anywhere and take it with me. My husband was overseas all of 2006 and had it with him. As long as there is high speed internet he could call me from his (we both had a plan) rather than paying outrageous (2.99 a minute) long distance fees. Speaking of long distance, if only one of us had Vonage, it still would have only been 5 cents a minute rather than the 2.99 a minute charged by bell south. He leaves for Iraq in May and we will be getting him the new little unit that hooks on a key chain. It is completely portable and you can use it on anyone's computer -- even internet cafes without installing anything. I have never had a connection issue. I have crystal clear calls and I have used mine in several states now. More than likely the internet company that this person is using is slower than most. Your friend can go on vonage and check her upload speeds to ensure they are high enough. If not, a simple adjustment of bandwidth will fix her right up! I know either Best Buy or Circuit City had a deal on vonage a few weeks ago where you could buy it and get a 100 cash back plus the free router and free month of service. My recommendation would be to do your phone separate from the actual cable plan. That way if you move it is not linked to them. With vonage you can take it with you anywhere.
  18. Walmart here has had some good deals on them lately. Be sure to check the clearance racks.
  19. I bought these last time they had them and they are AWESOME!! They are regularly 119.99 and they would be worth it for that, but the 59.99 I paid (in store) was a steal!
  20. I always get them when I change addresses. (Army family so we move around a lot).
  21. I just got this in an email from Big lots Deep Sleep. Deeper Discounts. Buy any Serta twin, full or queen mattress, and you'll get the matching foundation for just $5. For example: Serta Arrington queen mattress $179.99 Foundation + $5 = $184.99 You Save: $114.99 http://view.exacttarget.com/?ffcb10-fe861d787d65047473-fdf3107277600d787014747c-ff051671756403 (You may have to log in to the Buzz Club to view it.)
  22. Really? I have never heard of that. I got one at Big lots for under 10 bucks a couple of years ago. I have seen them there since every now and then too.
  23. I don't know of any coupons. I just (literally right before I read this post) made a reservation with U-Haul for Sat the 17th. I have used them half a dozen times and never had a problem. The last one I did totally online. I placed my order about 3 weeks in advance because I needed a one way rental. They called me the next day to confirm my reservation. I also requested to use two of their movers (mine happened to also be set up to pack, load and even drive for you www.emove.com has people to help if you need help loading). Anyhow, they called the day before the move to confirm and also ask me if I minded a larger truck. I had reserved one of the mid sized ones, but they had a larger one that needed to go to Savannah, GA. I did not have to pay anymore, but I am so glad I got the larger truck because everything would not have fit otherwise. I had absolutely no problems. However, when I placed my reservation today I was told that they are doing maintenance on the uhaul website and that it is giving a little bit of trouble, so I would say be sure to call your local u-haul provider to make a reservation rather than doing it on the web for now. Also, be sure to confirm the level of gas in the tank and make sure to return it with exactly that much gas because they have rules about this and charge you for the gas and a large fee on top of that. They have nice appliance dollies for rent for $10 if you need one (regular dollies are $7, but I like the appliance one for 3 bucks more). Make your reservation right away, they are usually all booked up on weekends.
