I bought a recliner from there last BF and it's the comfiest thing! We're trying to sell it now though so we don't have a lot of big things to move.

Me thinks that I'll be doing a lot of shopping at Menards after the boatload of stuff DH had me return there... lots of store credit to use up!

I'm going nuts waiting for Meijer... I don't suppose they'd give me the ad if I drove to their HQ...

The last 5 years I've been making special trips to my shopping city of choice just to get the paper to ensure I got all the ads. This year (now that I've moved), instead of driving an hour and 75 miles round trip I'll be driving 1 mile and two minutes!

Surprisingly not a lot of odd requests from DD this year, maybe because we could be moving again soon. I certainly don't encourage the odd requests - DD comes up with them on her own. When she's grown up she'll look back on her wish lists and have a good laugh I'm sure. :)

Meijer better have a darn good ad if we're waiting this long for it... here's hoping! :)

Of course anything in MI looks to be on the east side of the state... just my luck. Not.

The one I went to last year had a line wrapped around the corner of the building, maybe 100 people, but everyone was orderly even at opening. Really depends on your location.

Same here... and DH may even approve of me shopping there if it means compacting more of our papers and photos!

You don't need to buy other things to go with your ornament but some like to add to it. :)

Has anyone gone to Meijer's page and read the item below their BF countdown clock? "Waiting for Thanksgiving Day savings and Black Friday deals is like playing a cruel game of hide and seek. We get it... The wait is what makes Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday deals special." That gave me a good laugh.

I'm planning on Sun., Wed. and Thurs. too. Usually everything is in Thursday's paper but who knows with the super early (!) openings.

I wore mine out last night and while I was at World Market someone mistook me for an employee! Add that to my list of "uniforms" and "places of employment"!
