I second a practice goal. We got one from Dicks it was originally over $50 but with the sale and a coupon we paid a little over $20. A gift card to a sporting store would be good too so if she needs something when a new sport starts she can get it. Have you asked a parent if there is anything she needs for the sport she is playing now?? I know we just started swim season and there is an order form to purchase accessories for the team and also the coach just mentioned that getting flippers would be a good practice tool. Maybe there is something she needs for the season.

How much do you want to spend and what sports is she into?

I have probably spent between $600 and that is including getting an Ipod touch, and Ipod nano and a DSI. I also got some awesome deals at Aeropostale, Hollister and American Eagle. After adding up the actual cost of things it was about $1,000 but I got tons of clearance stuff and the big priced items I cashed in my My Points for gift cards to Amazon and made out like a bandit. OOP I probably spent 300 of the $600 the rest were gift cards.:D Plus I can say I AM FINALLY DONE Yippeeeeeeeee

I bought this and a silver one for my kids a few weeks ago. They are realy cute. I paid $39.99 and I thought that it was a great deal.

To get ideas you could go to a Hallmark store or a store that sells the Department 56 houses (I collect the North Pole series). They usually have their display set up by now and some stores go all out. Since you dont want to start another collection I woul d say check them out then go to Kmart, or Walmart or even the dollar store and see if they have some houses. You can also go onto the Dept 56 website, there are displays on there and people also post about their displays on the message boards.

All the new games that are out now are for the DS (they are called Nintendo DS games) Gameboy games are usually purchased used or if you had the system previously that is where you have them from. That is not to say you can't buy new games for the Gameboy/Gameboy Advance but it clearly states on the box that they are Gameboy games. If you get a DSi they cannot work on it but they do work on the DS Lite system.

I know Amazon has an RCA one for about $32.00 I am probably getting that one for my DS for his birthday in 22 days\\ I forgot to say it is also a clock radio too

Do you have prime. I have ordered from them COD and Super Mario, and I have prime, they had shipping soon with an estimated date of day of release which they guarantee. On the day before my order was "est to arrive" it still said "shipping soon" but lo and behold Fedex showed up at my house by 11am with my stuff. Amazon sent it via next day Fed Ex to guarantee that I got it on day of release. This also happened with stuff that was not guarantee to arrive day of release, it did not show shipping until the night before it was "est to be delivered" Just wanted to let you know. Have you tried your local BB, they still had tons of the DSi bundles at my BB today.

Amazon had it for pre-order and they were giving a $20 credit towards another video game purchase. I preordered it along with Assassins Creed (Xbox), Super Mario Brother (wii) With the order for COD MW2 I got a total of $40 in credits. I ordered Left for Dead 2 (Xbox) from Dell DS13 (almost 14) told me that I should pre-order it because it was going to be a very popular game and might sell out lol.

Yes I think the TRU one is the holiday bundle. That will be what most stores have for this season.

My DS once had a sweatshirt that had speakers in the hood of the sweatshirt. It actually came with a little radio that clipped on the shoulder also and then the wires came from the speakers and plugged into the rado. You could also plug the into a mp3 player. He loved that sweatshirt. To wash I just used cold water and hung to dry (I dont dry any of his sweatshirts anyway) He used it for about 3 years, we just put in the pile for goodwill. I did not pay anywhere near $47 for it and I think I also got it at Kmart when I got it. Have to run there and see if they have anymore he would love another.

Every holiday season they pick 2 colors and use them in the holiday bundles. Last year I think the colors were red and blue. One year they had the crimson and black. These were DS Lites. I dont think they will be making any other bundles with the other colors. I would have preferred getting a black one, but since there is no bundle on it, I got the Blue. DD does love blue, plus that one has the Mario games. She actually has the white DS lite so I would not have gotten her another white.
