I got so excited when I saw this. Went on there site and could not find the ones DD wants. She wants the regular suede ones not the knit ones. They were everywhere last year. Do they not sell them anymore? We saw some in a store but they were so high in price I told her forget it. She says she wants either the tall ones or the shorter ones. I thought they were called "Classic" Anyone know more about this. Thanks

I guess I was lucky then. As soon as I saw the email I went to the site right away. I just placed an order for 14 items for DD12 and DS14. I got 3 hoodies, 7 long sleeve shirts, 1 short sleeve henley, 1 sweat capris, 1 cami, and 1 lightweight peacoat, all shipped for $117.00 It was weird the long sleeve henleys I got listed for 2 for $30 price in shopping cart came up $6.00:gdlicklips: Just thrilled since I got 2 long sleeve shirts for DD in the store and paid double what I just got them for. Those will be going back!! The kids loved getting Aero stuff last year for Xmas. I think I am finally done with their smaller gifts. All I need to get now is their big gifts and I hope to do that on B:)

How much are you looking at spending. I got my DD12 an Ipod touch last year and DS14 got one 2 years ago, They both love it and use them all the time. I am actually upgrading DS14 to a new one this year since he has been having problems with his. You can get an 8gb for $229. Or you can get an older generation at the apple store for $199 (new) or less (for a refurburished one if you want to go that route) Last year I got DD Ipod from BB for $199 but I got a $50 gift card with it. How is he about pictures? Another idea is a Digital camera. Since he likes legos, when he builds something he could take pictures of it so he has a record of it. My DS14 did that for years after he got his 1st digital camera. He even still does it if he builds with his legos or his erector set. Now that he is on Varsity swim team he takes his camera to meets and practices and takes candid shots of what is going on and posts to his Facebook account.

Its not a deal if it is from QVC etc. A friend bought his from QVC with all the "extras" and ended up paying over $100 too much LOL He was very anxious to get it and could not wait for me to find him a bundle. After that when he bought a TV he waited for me to find him a deal. Amazon has good prices on the wiimotes and nuchuks. Also they sometimes have the sports package available which has the extras of the tennis racket, golf clubs etc. I got my package actually on BF from Circuit City when they were around for $2.99. I would watch BB ads and wait for F you never know what stores will have the "extras" you will need. I will keep an eye out and if I see anything will post herel It wont be hard to get the extras or a bundle deal on BF since the Wii has been around for so long and now there is plenty of supply.

The Wii regular price is $199. There is very rarely a "sale" on them. You will probably find bundles with extra stuff or a gift card. That saying I think Target has it on "sale" right now for $189. I think I saw it online when I went to the website today. Included with the Wii is one wiimote and one nunchuk. For others to play you will need more wiimotes and nunchuks. There is also the add on wiimotion that you can use for some games. The system also comes with Wii sports. Our family had had the Wii since it came out in 2006 and it is still very popular. I recommend getting rechargeable batteries since the controllers go thru a lot of batteries. I am actually replacing all our rechargeable batteries this year since 1 got corroded. Some good games that we like are Just Dance (1 and 2) Active Life series, MarioKart, Wii Sports Resort (you need the motionplus for this but when you buy the game it usually comes with one just read the box) The Wii is a lot of fun and great with families.

Maybe the new Secret Wonderland. I just got a sample in a recent order and it is pretty good. Plan on getting some things for DD12 I think she will like it.

I guess my DS 2nd Generation 16gb touch will only get maybe $30. For the $100 I presume you would have to upgrade from a 64gb 3rd generation.

Some of the differences between the DS Lite and DSI/DSI XL is that the DS Lite can play the older game boy advance games the DSI/DSI XL cannot. The DSI/DSI XL have 2 cameras and they are internet ready. Depending on how your children are (if the take care of things I would go for the new DSI/DSI XL (XL is exactly the same just has a bigger screen) but since they are so young you could get away with the lite. There are a lot of games out there. I recommend that you go on Amazon and do a search for DS games based on age. Mario Kart for DS is very popular and there are a lot of other Mario games in addition to Kart, There are also several learning games that deal with math, spelling also if interested. My kids are now 12 and 14 and have had Nintendo handhelds since they were 5 and they held up. Currently we have 2 DS Lites, a DSI and a DSI XL.

I prefer to use Paypal whenever I can. I used Paypal to order the watches. I also use BillmeLater if that is an option and Paypal is not. I dont like using my Debit card online if I don't have to.

I know last year some people ended up not receiving theirs I think. I regretted not ordering last year, so I just ordered 2 Penn State Sweatshirts. One for DH and one for DS.

I am in for 3. One for a 4th Grader (turning 9 in November) and 2 blues for 2 2nd Graders (1 turning 8 on Thursday the other is 8 next May) Thought the Black was nice for the older girl instead of her usual pink.

DD12 just told me that she would love to get a pair of UGG boots. She is now wearing a size that is the same as mine, so if her feet get any bigger I will steal them LOL. I did a search for UGGs and I am seeing a variety of prices. Can anyone recommend a good website with decent prices??? I don't know which sites are legit and which are not. Thanks

Thanks. Are the graphics cards you mentioned similar to what is in the specs?? " Microsoft® Direct3D 10® or Direct3D 9® capable graphics card" The teacher mentioned something about it being a 3D models?? I really don't know much about it. I do know that he is designing a toy that will be molded into plastic on the schools special printer that the have for this class. Some of the toys made last year was a train and a Rubiks cube looking toy that had various shapes that fit together.

I am so sorry for your loss. Is there anyway maybe you could just leave for a few days just so that you are not at home. Xmas falls on a Saturday, so maybe you could leave on the Thursday or Friday and come back on the Sunday, that way the boys are back for the full week after. Even if it is just to a neighboring town or somewhere close by so it does not take long to get there or back. I know when my Mom passed I just wanted to get Xmas over and done with, but we had my 1st Nephew having his 1st Christmas so we had to do something just so we had pictures of his 1st Xmas. We did the minimal decorating, 2 days before and the tree came down the day after Xmas. We went out to eat so that we did not spend all day home remembering. I know it will be hard, but you have an 8 year old who still may believe and who probably may not totally understand what it going on so you may have to do a little something just for her. I wish you all the best, I know this will be very hard this year.
