Black Friday means staying up, getting deals and saving money!

I will be spending less, since my kids already have everything:D I keep asking them what they want and the answers are DS " only Halo Reach" and DD "nothing" I have already started getting gift cards so I wont be spending cash or credit:D

I shop for 12 (DH, DS, DD, 2DN, FIL, DH's Grandmother, 2cousins, child I babysit, and the Angel Tree (at least 1 child for each of my 2 children) I also have to do the shopping for FIL and DH's Grandmother for my kids since they have no idea what to get. Good thing I have already started!!!

I am on the bandwagon saying Ace or Harbor Freight also.

In regards to the DSI games, there are so many sales out there also that I never pay the full price for the games. Most games I get are new releases but I usually pay about $20 to a max of $25 so you can still look at those too. Other idea are books, which I have gotten for my nephews many times. How about board games. One that is a big favorite with my kids is called Rummikub. They also like to give it a gifts to friends. Yes your niece would love a vehicle for her Barbie. Other options are clothes for the barbies

LOVE THEM. Can't wait. I want to buy a shirt, reusable bag, and a string bag since I never win anything!!!! Looking forward to the fun times as Black Friday approaches.

I am having the same problems with my 2. DD12 and DS14 (will be 15 4 days before Xmas). DD just had her birthday and could not tell me what she wanted. I ended up getting her a digital camera to replace one she got a few years ago after we came back from our vacation and she had problems with her old one. Now I have asked what they want for Xmas and DS says only Halo Reach which comes out on 9/14. Other than that he says nothing. What to do? I would not get them an Ipad even though it seems like a cool gadget. (Maybe in the future if the price ever comes down LOL Both kids already have laptops, ipod touchs. If anyone can think of ideas keep posting I am paying attention.

Help??? 1st day of school today and my 9th Grader comes home with his supply list. Biggest expense is a graphing calculator. They are asking for either the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition or the TI-Nspire. Anyone know the best place and price to get either one? Thanks for any and all help.

Well I have just made my kids Summer by telling them we are going to Orlando and they can invite a friend each. (I have 2 kids) I was able to exchange our Timeshare to a resort in Orlando (costing us only $139 for the week) Now the next big expense are tickets to the parks. We already have some no expiration Park Hopper tickets from years ago that we have not used for the 4 of us but I have to get tickets for the 2 friends. Now for my question. I was on Mousesaver.com and I signed up for their newsletter. They mentioned that in the newsletter there is a link for Undercover Tourist to get even lower ticket prices. Does anyone on here get the newsletter and if so could you give me the "secret link" if you are not using it to Undercover Tourist so I could get the tickets for the kids. Well it looks like we will be getting the Daphne. She loves the other one too but saw that she can get the curtains, and more throw pillows which she says "she has to have" since her bed will also be a lounge area to watch tv. No she is saying she wants the area rug also. SHe has a frost carpet in her room so throwing an area rug on top will be fine. Once we order it I will have something to take to match up with paints. I told her this is it. She better make sure she loves it because it will be with her until she gets married lol Thanks Patty for finding this and the coupons. The 15% did not work so I am going into the store since I got a coupon there and will see if they have it in stock so she can see it in person to make sure that is her final choice.

I like the Astor Place one also. I am thinking of that for my room is she does not pick that one.

DH is not happy her room was just painted when be built the house 2 1/2 years ago and he says the paint is fine lol. She tells his yes it is fine just the wrong color. They are having some arguments the 2 of them.

A couple weeks ago someone posted a beautiful polka dot comforter in blues/browns. My DD11 loved it. We are in the process of redoing her room and getting her a new bedroom set and at the time we did not know whether she was getting a twin bed or a full bed. Last nite she found her bedroom set and is getting a full size. I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have to get a present for a family member and he wants downhill skis. I dont know anything about skis so I am hoping someone here can help me. Do they come in different sizes or is there something I should look for. Where are some good place to shop and are there any deals out there. Thanks for any and all help.
