We will be going there either tomorrow (Saturday) or Sunday to pick up 2 tennis rackets for out DS's birthday. I would really love to be able to take 25% off the price. My DS is at DV Middle School he will move up to DV HS next year for 9th Grade. My DD is at Shohola Elementary and will be at DV Middle school next year for 7th grade. What a small world.

This is the 1st time I have seen a BB coupon that can work on Ipods. Am I right we cant use it on the Ipod Touch offered on BF with the $30 gift card back??? That works out to a better deal anyway. Thanks for posting I will find use for it somewhere else:D

Yes there are several games that cater to boys. My DS13 (almost 14) has had a DS Lite for years, he had the original DS before that and the GameBoy Advance etc. I wont be getting the DSi for him since he prefers his PSP and his Xbox, and only plays his Lite rarely if he is bored.

My DD is 11. She has had a DS Lite since they came out. She got the original white one. The only reason we will be getting her the DSi is there are 2 new games that just came out that are on her list that she would be able to take advantage of the benefits of the DSi. The 2 games are Style Labs Makeover (can take a picture of herself and put makeup on herself etc. She is not allowed to wear makeup so this is an alternative) Style Labs Jewelry Design (she can design jewelry and upload to a website where the jewelry can be made and purchased I am thinking future presents lol) I am sure there will be other games coming out in the future. With the DS Lite as a first system it opens up the option to be able to get the used gameboy advance games that can be used with the lite but not the DSi. DD will still have her DS lite so she will have both even though she is getting rid of most of her advance games because she has outgrown them.

They are both dual screens. The DSi has 2 cameras and can also connect to the internet and the Nintendo channel to download games. DS Lite cannot. The DSi cannot play the gameboy advance games like the DS Lite. They both play the DS games. Other than that they are the same.

Could you give me some places. I have to find a sax and a clarinet since both my kids decided this year to change instruments. DD used to play the French Horn now does Clarinet and DS did the flute and now switched to the sax.

Yes they will match sale prices but I dont think they will match with gift cards unless they give a Walmart gift card. I dont think they have ever done that before. I hope I will be able to get it online on Thanksgiving or maybe Amazon will match it.

I guess I will be hoping that BB has the DSi or the Ipod deal online or if not I will be going out to camp:( The idea of standing in lines for those 2 things is just not too enticing. I dont think Walmart will match the DSi deals at Target and BB with the gift card right?? Those are the only things I need to get. I wonder if Amazon will do something?? Yes I knew that. DD has a DS Lite which she can use for any GameBoy advance games she has left. Dont think there are many she has left.

As far as I know the Xbox Arcade has not memory or a very small hard drive, I dont think it takes memory cards. I know people who purchase the arcade also get a hard drive to go with it. I think some get it off ebay. My DS has a 20gb Xbox and that is how he saves games. I am sure someone more knowledable than I am will let you know if I am correct.

Both target and BB will have the DSi bundle with 5 games for $169 and you get a $20 gift card from that store TRU will have it for $159 with 2 accessories These will all be on BF. So far I only see it in 2 colors one of them being Blue

No the new Ipod Touch that is out is the 3rd generation. You can update a 2nd Generation thru Itunes for $4.95. My DS13 just updated his with the new stuff a week ago. Otherwise there is not much difference between the 2. There is a 2nd generation Touch that was available last year (DS got it for Xmas) This year the dont have a 16gb It goes from 8gb to 32gb.

The old gameboy games I am talking about do not play very well with the DS lite. The gameboy advance games play fine. We have really old games from the original gameboys and we have problems with them with the DS Lite. We have played them but for some reason they dont work as well. It could be a problem with the games we dont know, we just got rid of them. My DS does not care about the DS, he likes his PSP. DD is the one that is into the new games coming out which to me look like the are more for girls than boys. It all depends on the child.

WOW. The 2 things DD11 is asking for is here. She wants the DSi and the Ipod Touch. I wonder if these will be available online. If so it would be great I would not have to go out. Just saw the Ipod is in store only:(

The first colors came out in April 2009. Other colors came out in September.

Right now it is $129.99 on Amazon. I think I saw it somewhere once for $99. I dont know if there will be any deal between now and Xmas to lower it further. Toys R Us has a deal where you get a $20 savings when you buy the DS Lite and 2 accessories. It is in their big toy book. Nintendo sets their prices and the only real deals you will find are with accessories or getting a gift card from the store.

They love the Donkey Kong games I will check and see what other ones they like both wii and gamecube.

Our house has 4 DS Lites. We love them. I am thinking of upgrading my DD11 to a DSi only because some of the new games she is asking for need the cameras and the internet capability that the DSi has over the DS Lite. She would still have her DS Lite to play her gameboy advance games so that would not be a problem. 2 of the games she is asking for are Style Labs makeover and Style Labs Jewelry Design. With Makeover she has the option to take a picture of herself then do makeovers on herself on the DSi. Jewelry design she an create jewelry and upload to a website where they can be made for purchase (future gifts I see) There is nothing wrong with the DS Lite its just I forsee that games coming out will take advantage of the new aspects of the DSi. These games will still be able to play on te DS Lite just not everything. You mention that she has gameboy games are they advance games because regular gameboy games from previous will not play on the DS LIte either. On BF Target and Best Buy are offering the DSI with 5 games downloaded (choice between brain age games or mario games) for $169 and you get a $20 gift card . I hoped I answered your questions.
