Thank you so much!!! I was actually looking at the Lego Mindstorm. It is in my cart at Amazon. I thought he might like that. I have given all this info to DH and he says he will go out tomorrow to see if he can find the magazines. DH is on the websites looking right now. We have his birthday in December and Xmas coming up, so we have to start now.

I think I would say he is a video game/computer tinkering. But that is not to say he does not build stuff. When he got his bird he decided to use his Knex set and build a perch that could withstand his cockatiel weight. H was able to build it with extras like a swing, and various size perches for the bird to be occupied for hours at a time. I was actually bigger than the bird's cage. He has also built other things, as well as stuff for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.

Mike, What would you recommend for my DS. He will be 14 in December. He loves building stuff. He went to Robot Camp one summer and made 2 robots there. Thanks

Thanks!!!. I am about 40 minutes from Middletown NY, and about an hour from Wilkes Barre. I am getting to know the area since my kids swim on the Delaware Valley swim team and we travel to Wilkes Barre/Scranton area for quite a few meets. Depending on the ads will see where I am going!!!!

The BF sales are sometimes the same but usually on different toys. They also run promos with sale prices even lower than what is in the toybook

I tend not to believe the people at BB. Last year I was in there and made a comment about BF. I said I was waitin to get a laptop for my DD, but had seen a better deal at CC in comparison to the one we were looking at at BB. The manager or whoever he was in computers said to me, that he had see the ad and it was going to blow the competition out of the water. He said the ad was going to put CC out of business.(CC was already in deep trouble by then already.) We all know how bad BB ad was last year, so hopefully this year will be better.

Hi there where in Wilkes Barre is there a Kohls. Is it near the Wyoming Valley Mall. I am in Milford. PA and go to that area sometimes to shop. I dont know if I will be going in that direction on BF or going to Middletown, NY.

Wii Sports comes with all Wii systems. Its standard. Some Walmart deal have a bundle where you can get other games added but for an increased price. The base price is normally $199 now and that includes the wii sports.

My DS would love something like this but the price tag is scary. DH is also a bit leary about it and wonders if it actually works and how much use he would get out of it. I am now looking for a robot he can build since he has actually been asking for one for a few years.

My DD11 is asking for another studded belt and studded bracelet. Along with clothes from Justice, Aeropostale and Hollister. She has asked for the DS game Imagine Detective. I also got her the video camera from Dell. I am thinking of upgrading her to a DSi, but not sure about that yet. We may be getting her and DS 13 (14 in December) a pool table/air hockey table for the basement and if a really deal comes up upgrading their TV in the gameroom to get the old one off the floor. That is only if we see a deal we cant refuse.

Thats the thing. I am trying to stay away from getting another set up. We already have the setup for Rockband 1 with drums etc, plus we have the set up for Guitar Hero World Tour, drums the works. Along with the guitars for Guitar 1 and 2 we have a total of 8 guitars. I also dont think the music for DJ Hero is the type our family likes., We are die hard rockers, we like the old stuff like Aerosmith etc. and I think hero is more current themes of music. I dont think our game room can handle anymore stuff to add for video games lol

Yes I saw the promo, but I dont know if these games for the Gold Deal of the Day are part of the promo. I have some games in my cart, trying to decide if I should order them.

Just to let everyone know from my experiences I have purchased toys from sales in the BTB in previous years and later on in December I have had to repurchase because the prices were lower. Not necessarily only on BF. TRU runs sales in the weeks right before Xmas and they sometimes have lower prices on things.

I have been BF shopping now for over 16 years.
