I think this is what I'm leaning to do this year. I would rather give a teacher something they would really like to have, but something that is in my small budget.

I could really use some things from there. I love to get things from my DH from there!!!

My husband is deployed and I saw the thread about helping a deployed soldier and I was trilled to see it.The websight is www.anysoldier.com. I sent the websight to my husband and he has already signed up his group of guys he's with. I can tell you that the single soldiers in paticular, love to recieve any kind of mail. Even if it's just a card saying thanks for what your doing. When I mail packages to my husband, I always put extra stuff in there so that he can share it with the others. Let me tell you thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!!!

I'd call your local Walmart and ask to speak to the manager in charge of the store. Make sure you get their name so that if there are any questions later, you can tell whom ever you speak to that yo spoke with such and such.

Try Ebay. Sometimes you can get really great deals on there for that kind of stuff. Just check their feedback BEFORE you bid.

I saw it today on TRU for 89.99 and Etoys for 99.99. She is just as cute as the original!!!I have ordered one for my daughter. I hated the price, but it's the 1 thing she just has been talking about nonstop!

If the stores do email you the info like normal sales, they aren't going to have them sent to you before you'd get them here. At least that is what I've found. I am signed up with different stores on a normal basis to get sales info, but I don't believe that I'd get the info before it's set to put out otherwise. This sight will be your best shot at knowing what's out there on sale. I hope this helps.

I have 2 children a boy who's almost 11 and a girl almost 5. We haev all 3 systems and will end up somtime after Christmas with the Xbox 360 I'm sure. I have to say that by far I think the best for "those" ages would be the Xbox. I find that alot,not all,games for the playstation2 are for teens and adults. Mind you, it's not all, but it really seems like MOST are geared for the older players. Gamecube is soso on the graphics, but cheaper on the price. Xbox has a ton of kids games and the graphics are really pretty great! I know if my kids had to pick just 1, they would pick XBOX! I know that different stores are doing value packs where you can get games with the game systems. I'd check that out. I hope this helps.:)

My husband is also in themilitary, and I understand how he's feeling. That being said though, he needs to try to get through this the best way he can. Try to explain that this is the time to be greatfull for. Let him not use up the time you have left by creating negative memories. The two of you will want to look back on this time with "happY" thoughts. Not of all the fights you had. Make this the best holiday season you have ever had!Tell him try to live for today and not for tomorrow! Best wishes to you.

My husband bought one of the Ipods and just loves his! I don't know if anyone will have these on sale for Black Friday, but I HIGHLY recomend this one! We did alot of shopping around and research and this one seemed to have the best reviews overall.

How earlly can you get them to call? I need like 2 :30 in the morning.

There are alot of times where this is true! I also have certain stores I love to shop at, but since moving don't have access to one. There are times where they even have deals that are for online only and there are some products that are online only. Last year I did a buch of my Christmas shopping this way and did most of my 1 childs school shopping.

I haven't seen that bear any cheaper. I'd go ahead and get it if it was me. My daughter has so many of the Cae bears, or I'd even get this one!

does anyone know what time that Kmart opens for the Thanksgiving sale? I've got a few things on Thursdays list I'd love to get! Sure would be nice to be able to go shopping before Thanksgiving dinner!

I have a 4 year old that just LOVES the Angelina books! This would be a great idea! I may go on there and see what I can get to put away for upcoming birthday parties!
